What a delightful place! Quiet yet sufficiently central -- not in the very middle of Siena, but we considered that a good thing! The owners are truly wonderful and gracious and we'd be delighted to return.

Just within the ZTL zone, but parking just outside the area is easy. Quaint, huge house, reassembled into a B&B, huge rooms and bathroom. Very clean, very nice owner, breakfast set up right outside our door. With tv, a/c, no wifi, huge bed and bathroom, Same street takes u to the centre on foot within 10min. lots of restaurants and bars along the street. Young crowd. A must see, breathtaking piazza, lovely to walk around the narrow streets at night.

This hotel is a real gem. My wife and I had a spacious 2 room apartment at the top floor. The price was very reasonable. The hotel is only 3 minutes walking distance from the historical part of the town and 5 minutes from the bus station from where you can connect to many Tuscan towns. The place is very quiet and has a well equipped kitchen with gas stove and fridge. Breakfasts provided by the hotel are rather skimpy but this is more than compensated by the overall quality of the place. Highly recommended for those who want to spend a few quiet days in beautiful Siena.

Great place to stay in Siena, Italy! It was difficult to find only because I did not have a good map of the town, and took a bus from the train station. The location was great, short walking distance to the town center. Owner and facilities were lovely. Wish I had stayed longer in Siena.

We were very pleasantly surprised with the attention to detail in the rooms, and the excellent location of this accommodation. The owner/our hostess was friendly, helpful and welcomed us warmly. We would recommend this place to others unreservedly. We had only two nights here, but could have made this our base for longer had we known how homely and comfortable we would be here. Thank you very much.

La Coperta Ricamata is a B&B in a nice house and only a 10 min walk to il Campo in Siena. The bed was a bit uncomfortable - a little too hard for me, but other than that the room was very comfortable in a pretty setting. One downside was that breakfast is served in a hallway from 7:30-9:00. If you are not up and getting breakfast at 7:30 there is very little left for you, even just 30 min later. Overall, a very nice, clean place with a friendly owner.

The room is sooooo clean, i mean seriously soooo clean. it's without a doubt the price worthy to stay. i will definitely recommend to anyone who are coming to Siena cuz it's really good B&B.

No internet access was a disadvantage and one that needs to be addressed. Breakfast is adequate if you are fortunate enough to be early - if you are late you might miss out as items are not replaced. Rooms can be noisy with tiled floors amplifying every sound. Owners not aware of this as their own friends stayed one night we were there and their noise was a problem. Also seems to run on a shoestring as a request for a replacement lamp lightbulb meant the cleaner had to report to the owner who inspected the lamp, the powerpoints and the bulb before a replacement was issued. Requests for 2 extra pillows resulted in one being supplied - reluctantly.

We stayed 3 nights. An excellent B&B. Good location. Our room was huge with a good sized, modern bathroom. All very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Our host was very friendly, but with limited English, and as our Italian was non-existent it made communication interesting. This was probably the best B&B we stayed in during our time in Italy, helped by the fact that Siena is such a beautiful place to spend time.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this charming B&B. This was the first time we reserved a room online and I wasn't really sure what we were going to find. This place was spotless and seems to be newly remodeled. The interior and furnishings were beautiful(not fancy). Luciana was very helpful and accommodating. It is not located right in the center of town but if you don't mind a short walk then it is perfect for the great price. Also, it is one flight up w/o elevator for those who mind stairs. We would definitely stay there again.

Room was excellent, breakfast (left behind by owner)no more than sufficient. Owner was friendly, but was not there to open the gate for us at the agreed time (12:00 hrs). After a while we rang at another adress on the same gate, a person with the same family name. She turned out to be the daughter, and she let us put our luggage in the hall so that we could start visiting old Sienna. So there came a solution in the end!

Our stay at La Coperta Ricamata was simply great. We were very nicely greeted upon arrival, and thought the room was very charming and spacious. The breakfast was basic, but excellent. The B&B was also wonderfully located close to Il Campo and the Duomo(walking distance).

My sister and I (in our 50's) traveled all over Italy. This was the most unexpectedly beautiful room we stayed in. The room was huge and gorgeous with a beautiful view, the proprietess was adorable and the town of Siena should be a "don't miss" on anyone's itinerary.

Beautiful house tucked back off a busy street. Beautiful house and room.high cielings, marble stairs, antiques. Breakfast was served for the floor on a buffet table in the outside hall and then you fixed a tray for your room. The owner was warm and welcoming. Light English spoken but we fared very well. Recommended restaurant was superb. and our stay enjoyable.

The room is quite large and quiet, and the bath room is pretty good. The location on the map didn't provide enough information, but following to the indication from local people, you can find it easily. The service will be more professional if the host provides a map instead of a printing copy. The price is a little bit high.

The room was great- nice and clean- and HUGE! Good location- walking distance to city center (but far enough that it was nice and quiet) and train station (though all uphill from the train station). Unfortunately, there is no WiFi as advertised and we were counting on having that available to us. Staff spoke VERY limited english so we could not straighten this problem out.

The rooms were spacious, well decorated, clean and very modern. The air conditioner worked well (it was very hot outside). The bed was two twin beds pushed together and they were very very hard. The breakfast was plentiful. Good variety of breads, jam, juice, coffee and milk. Very little English is spoken, so be prepared to either speak Italian or ? Despite advertising WiFi, there wasn't any connection. There also were no English language channels available on the television.

An excellent break on price considering location to center of old Siena (a short 10-15 min walk), the quality of facilities and service and hosts' hospitality. Gated access to house set back from street in a garden setting. Refreshments offered on arrival. Inquiried about special diet needs. No set hours for breakfast - available on hall table - eat in room whenever. English spoken. Room attractively decorated. House had cared-for feeling. Glady made dinner reservations for us at a recommended tattoria.

This was a beautiful B+B in Siena. Small walk to the old town square, secure and beautiful garden entrance. Our room looked out onto the trees which was nice. Room was clean and spacious, bathroom looked brand new. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend to anyone. GREAT value for money.

This was a great B&B. The owner speaks very little english but we were able to figure out what the other was saying. The rooms are clean and beautiful, it's set back from the road so it's very quiet, it is only minutes walking to the town square, and the breakfast is wonderful. We only had one night but I wish we could have stayed longer. The only hiccup was that it is not marked from the road, so you need to know the exact address. The wifi was also not working while we were there but she was able to recommend a place to go. The owner also recommended a dinner place, it was the best meal we had in Italy and that's saying something!
