La Coperta Ricamata is situated inside the old city walls, in the territory of the Contrada della Lupa, just steps away from Piazza del Campo, the heart of the city where traditionally on July 2 and on August 16 the Palio, the annual historic horse race, is held.
The guesthouse is conveniently situated within walking distance of the city's historic center.
It is located near a bus stop, the railway station and a highway exit, so it’s an excellent accommodation for all travelers.
The guesthouse, located in a villa just inside the old city walls, gives the guests peace, quiet and comfort, but also the view of an unusual landscape beneath the ancient and famous rocca of Monte dei Paschi.
The villa, built at the beginning of the 20th century, is on two floors.
The guesthouse's single and double guest rooms are situated on the first floor. All the rooms are large and with en suite bathrooms, air conditioning, and cable TV.
The breakfast buffet is served from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM.

Stayed for 3 nights at this great B&B. Very private and quiet, yet Luciana is available with her warm, kind manners when you need her. The rooms are big, super clean, and decked out with quality linens/towels. Very nicely finished rooms with quality materials. Beautiful 10 foot wood framed windows for a light airy room. A great place of restful nights and pleasant mornings.

Our experience at this B&B was lovely, overall. Lucca and Lucianna are sensitive and very accomodating hosts. The only downside was noise from a baby staying below us and an extremely firm mattress, neither of which we are used to! The wonderful building we stayed in has been in the Family for hundreds of years and has been modernized with great care and is beautifully appointed. The marble and woodwork and choice of colors are gorgeous, as well as their choice of art. The location is fantastic, only a 20 minute walk from the train station and no further than that to the Duomo, very convenient.

My wife and I stayed for two nights at La Coperta Ricamata and found it peaceful and lovely. It is outside the city center but close enough to walk back and forth to the main plaza. Our room was spacious, clean and beautiful and Luciana and Lucca were accommodating and helpful with restaurant recommendations.

My husband and I stayed at La Coperta Ricamata for 2 nights and we enjoyed our stay. The location was good---could walk to the center of the city. The room was clean and comfortable with a view of trees. It was peaceful. Bathroom was clean but the shower stall was a bit too small. The owner was very helpful. Breakfast was good especially the homemade cake. I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice b&b with friendly, helpful owners. About a 10-15 minute walk from the main square and 10 minutes from the train station. We had a large, high-ceilinged room with a nice bathroom, two large windows, a small tv and a table and chairs for eating breakfast (you take your tray out to the corridor in the morning where breakfast is laid out on a table and help yourself and eat in your room). The b&b is set back from the road and so is very quiet. Siena is a very beautiful and lively city. Lots of art and culture.

This was a lovely bed & breakfast in a nice quiet location. The owners were very helpful, they had even gone to the trouble of finding a nice restaurant and booking a table for us. Room was spacious and light with air con and large bathroom. Situated approximately 15 minutes walk from Siena train station (which is very confusing to get out of!)and easy to find. Short walk to sights in centre. Breakfast was self service from a table in the passage and was typically Italian- sweet, sugary and minimal! Not sure if there were any public areas but we were only there one night and there is much to see in Siena! Lovely place and lovely people. Would definitely stay again.

Just within the ZTL zone, but parking just outside the area is easy. Quaint, huge house, reassembled into a B&B, huge rooms and bathroom. Very clean, very nice owner, breakfast set up right outside our door. With tv, a/c, no wifi, huge bed and bathroom, Same street takes u to the centre on foot within 10min. lots of restaurants and bars along the street. Young crowd. A must see, breathtaking piazza, lovely to walk around the narrow streets at night.

This hotel is a real gem. My wife and I had a spacious 2 room apartment at the top floor. The price was very reasonable. The hotel is only 3 minutes walking distance from the historical part of the town and 5 minutes from the bus station from where you can connect to many Tuscan towns. The place is very quiet and has a well equipped kitchen with gas stove and fridge. Breakfasts provided by the hotel are rather skimpy but this is more than compensated by the overall quality of the place. Highly recommended for those who want to spend a few quiet days in beautiful Siena.

La Coperta Ricamata is a B&B in a nice house and only a 10 min walk to il Campo in Siena. The bed was a bit uncomfortable - a little too hard for me, but other than that the room was very comfortable in a pretty setting. One downside was that breakfast is served in a hallway from 7:30-9:00. If you are not up and getting breakfast at 7:30 there is very little left for you, even just 30 min later. Overall, a very nice, clean place with a friendly owner.

No internet access was a disadvantage and one that needs to be addressed. Breakfast is adequate if you are fortunate enough to be early - if you are late you might miss out as items are not replaced. Rooms can be noisy with tiled floors amplifying every sound. Owners not aware of this as their own friends stayed one night we were there and their noise was a problem. Also seems to run on a shoestring as a request for a replacement lamp lightbulb meant the cleaner had to report to the owner who inspected the lamp, the powerpoints and the bulb before a replacement was issued. Requests for 2 extra pillows resulted in one being supplied - reluctantly.

We stayed 3 nights. An excellent B&B. Good location. Our room was huge with a good sized, modern bathroom. All very clean. Breakfast was excellent. Our host was very friendly, but with limited English, and as our Italian was non-existent it made communication interesting. This was probably the best B&B we stayed in during our time in Italy, helped by the fact that Siena is such a beautiful place to spend time.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this charming B&B. This was the first time we reserved a room online and I wasn't really sure what we were going to find. This place was spotless and seems to be newly remodeled. The interior and furnishings were beautiful(not fancy). Luciana was very helpful and accommodating. It is not located right in the center of town but if you don't mind a short walk then it is perfect for the great price. Also, it is one flight up w/o elevator for those who mind stairs. We would definitely stay there again.

Room was excellent, breakfast (left behind by owner)no more than sufficient. Owner was friendly, but was not there to open the gate for us at the agreed time (12:00 hrs). After a while we rang at another adress on the same gate, a person with the same family name. She turned out to be the daughter, and she let us put our luggage in the hall so that we could start visiting old Sienna. So there came a solution in the end!

An excellent break on price considering location to center of old Siena (a short 10-15 min walk), the quality of facilities and service and hosts' hospitality. Gated access to house set back from street in a garden setting. Refreshments offered on arrival. Inquiried about special diet needs. The rooms are clean and beautiful, it's set back from the road so it's very quiet, it is only minutes walking to the town square, and the breakfast is wonderful. We only had one night but I wish we could have stayed longer. The only hiccup was that it is not marked from the road, so you need to know the exact address.
