Bed and Breakfast Gli Angeli - Siena

Very, very nice and clean room! Warm welcome, good information! To recommend!!

Gli Angeli makes a good base for visiting Siena and exploring the surrounding area by car. Finding it initially was a bit diffiuclt but the online instructions do lead you there eventually. Getting in to Siena was easy via the local minibuses and our hostess gave good information about the service and also had tickets on hand. Getting back home at night was another story -- it's a long walk in the dark if you miss the last bus! The accommodation was good if a little basic. Our room was very clean and quite spacious and the bathroom was immaculate. Breakfast on the balcony was a pleasant start to the day, with a distant view of Siena over the rooftops. We enjoyed meeting our host family and hearing a little about their life and would recommend Gli Angeli to similar travellers.

Simone was very friendly and helpful with everything. We had the room on the south side, which I think was probably quiter than the north side and also had a beautiful view of Siena from the terrase.

Simona was a wonderful hostess. Although our room overlooked the nearby service station and regional highway, we had a GREAT view of the countryside outside Siena. We had nice storage for our tandem bike and trailer. Simona also was able to secure us bus tickets in and out of Siena, with the bus stops each direction just steps away.

Gli angeli was a wonderful little b&b located on the outshirts of the Seine. It was very roomy and comfortable. It was a little hard to find because they said no sign could be posted on the streets. There was no A/C in the room. Besides that i would recommend this very nice place to my friends.

Excellent vacation spent mostly on bicycles in the beautiful surroundings of Siena. Warm and friendly family, and helpful. Nice to come home to. The location was more distant from Siena than expected. This, however, was largely compensated for by a mini-bus service offering frequent fares.

Internet Photos are out of date. House has been enlarged. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gli Angeli and Simone was most helpful. However some variety in breakfast provided would be a big and welcome improvement. Access to local transport was excellent. This B and B is very suited to older couples.

This was our first visit to Siena and Gli Angeli. This is a newly converted house and the accomodation was excellent as was the breakfast served in the owners living room or in your own room or terrace.Although outside the city walls it was well served by a frequent shuttle mini bus taking about 10 minutes and running late at night. The lady of the house was very friendly and helpful and spoke good english.

Good quality/price ratio, hotels in Siena being quite expensive.On the outskits of the city centre but easy to reach by bus once (less than 10 minutes away). Spotless room and bathroom. It matched our expectations as long as we intended to be out all day. Good base to discover the area at a reasonnable price. Nice family. A plus : the balcony !
