The house was built in 13th century and now is restored in respect of local’s culture and with bio-architecture’s technical.
The LOCANDA has six double rooms (they can be used as single rooms), three triple rooms and a junior suite (there is the possibility to add a bed). They are accessoriated to offer the best service in a full relax and between the most contemporary technologies.
All rooms, equipped in minimal style, are completed with telephone, minibar, satellites TV, air conditionated.
The ground floor presents the Reception with an internet point and a reading corner, a large breakfast room, an internal garden and a wine-room carved out of a traditional Muslim house.

We were booked to stay 4 nights, only stayed 1. The staff was very helpful, and friendly, but the location and the stairs were a problem for us. We booked based on past reviews, which we now think were over rated. We were very disappointed with our stay. The owner was very understanding when we decided to leave early. Our advice is to shop around at other hotels. You can get just as good a rate, and have a better stay.

Una agradable sorpresa este B&B y la ciudad de Sciacca, probablemente más recomendable para quedarse a dormir que la de Agrigento. El B&B está nuevo y sus dueñas son muy agradables y atentas. Estuvimos con nuestros hijos pequeños y la verdad es que la estancia fue magnñifica. Los cuartos no son demasiado amplios pero están muy limpios y funcionales. 100% ecomendable. El parking por la zona es complicado, pero al final se encuentra.

This hotel was good for a one-night stay, but the room was too small for any longer. You can't park nearby and we had to carry our bags up quite a lot of steps. But the hotel is right in the centre of a very pleasant town, and we enjoyed our stay here.

Parking is a premium at Sciacca. You will have to park at the bottom of quite some steps and climb up with your luggage to the hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and will answer any questions you might have. Sciacca is full of friendly people and is much cheaper and not as tourist-infested as the rest of Italy. This hotel is located quite centrally to all the city-center attractions, but one day in the city is more than enough. We did not visit any beaches during our one-night stay because they are a drive away. Have dinner at the hotel owner's restaurant - it turned out to be one of the best meals I had during my month-long trip of Italy and Greece. Have coffee and drinks at a small cafe at the major piazza overlooking the ocean (don't remember the name, but as you're heading down to the piazza and looking towards the ocean, it is on the left.) The breakfast is like most other Italian hotel breakfasts...white breads, coffee, yogurt, etc. Nothing too interesting. Rooms were small but functional, much like other Italian hotels. The hotel's wine cellar was under construction when we were there so we did not get to enjoy the supposed wine tastings that I had heard about from other reviews. I highly recommend this B&B overall.

Route -Description PALERMO( Falcone-Borsellino) / SCIACCA

From Palermo airport: follow the MOTORWAY (AUTOSTRADA) A 29, direction MAZARA del VALLO,. until the exit CASTELVETRANO.
Then you take the HIGHWAY SS 115 in direction of AGRIGENTO/SCIACCA.
Arriving at Sciacca there’s a traffic light,where you have to go straight on.Then you arrive at a crossroads,where you simply have to proceed on the highway SS 115 -direction AGRIGENTO.After passing two tunnels you take the exit for SCIACCA ,follow the street signs for the centre of Sciacca, and then the sign of our “LOCANDA AL MORO”,which is situated in the near of a little car park in VIA LICATA .
