La Locanda Azzurra B&B - San Remo

Our first impressions of the Hotel were dissapointing, but as we found out more we really started to like the Hotel. The hotel should be described as a Tennis centre / sports club with accomodation. They put on events in the evenings bands (for both the older and the younger) You do need a car as it is quite a walk into town (the best bits, of which San Remo is dissapointing). Also the Hotel charges additional for sun loungers which I believe is wrong. If San Remo was better I would definatly use the Hotel again.

very nice, clean and tidy room; the kitchenette with the two little fridges is a very good idea! The shower might be renovated, but the bathroom was clean and tidy (good service). The singing of the birds during the day and the concerts of the frogs during the night was recreative. :-) There was a lovely sight from the terrace. The free internet access is good, but might be better in the room (more stable); unfortunately there where no international TV channels

good impression but far away from center, free parking, nice and large/wide pool, bathroom too small with shower only (not in line with price)do not take breakfast, a bar is available coffee, tee , croissants etc much cheaper

The hotel is fantastic for sports, many excellent tennis courts, a large swimming pool, set in a quiet garden and a very short drive from downtown and the beach. A good adress at a good price for sports afficionados.

Soggiorno veramente soddisfacente. Suite spaziosa e pulita. Possibilità di utilizzo di attrezzature sportive. Da tenere in considerazione.

Difficile da trovare se non si sa dove è ubicata, specilamente se si arriva alla sera, l'ingresso è mal segnalato, niente indicazioni e niente insegna

It's a very good area. you must have car because it's so long to go in center of SanRemo with your foot. Just the price is too expensive for a couple of student like us...

A great hotel in a great location with excellent facitities. The only down side was the breakfast that varied from reasonable to very poor (choice and quantity to no choice and inadequate). If they could get this right then 200%. It would be nice to have if they offered drinks from the bar in the evening, no real loss.

The only problem was the place - it was far from the sea, far from the center, far from the train station. You needed a car (or taxi) to arrive there. For a car it is a good place because it has parking.

it states that it is 500metres from the town, but it actually takes 45 minutes to walk to the centre, and as it is uphill coming back we had to get a taxi. Also the breakfast that is advertised is not actually offered.

All in one a good hotel.
