Beautiful property and a central location for exploring Tuscany. A little hard to find at first- confused that the location is actually Castel San Gimignano so once clarified it was all ok. We would definitely go back there.

We stayed for 10 days.Excellent quality of services provided.The owners and staff very friendly and helpfull.We fully enjoyed our stay. Magnificent surroundings and charming view on distant (about 10 kms on the hill)of San Giminiano city towers.Quiet and relaxing atmosphere on the site. Nice swimming pool and very well cared quite big garden. Good parking area. Safe place and safe surroundings. Nice and not expensive restaurant-pizzeria (Il Monte)in the vicinity. At Antico Borgo breakfast(self-service)rich and varied. We higly recommend a stay in Antico Borgo il Cardino.

This hotel was so much beyond our expectation. The surrounding is so beautiful with their olive garden, little hill and swimming pool make this place an little tuscan heaven. The owners and staff are very friendly. The room is airly and spotlessly clean. We are so impressed and amazed with the quality from this B&B.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Antico Borgo il Cardino. Monica and her husband were friendly and helpful ,the breakfast was plentiful and the grounds were beautiful. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious and the bathroom was very modern. I would recommend this B and B to anyone vacationing in Tuscany. Also a great location .

From the North :
Take the A1 Milano - Roma motorway, direction Roma and exit at "Firenze Certosa".
Take the national road Firenze - Siena and exit at "Colle Val D'Elsa Nord". Then follow the signs for Volterra and Castel San Gimignano. Before the sign for Castel San Gimignano, turn right, direction San Gimignano.
After about 100 metrea, turn right.

Arriving from the South :
Take the motorway A1 Roma - Milano, direction Milano and exit at "Valdichiana".
Follow the signs for Siena. In Siena take the national road Siena - Firenze and exit at "Colle Val D'Elsa Sud". Then follow the signs for Volterra. nd Castel San Gimignano. Before the sign for Castel San Gimignano, turn right, direction San Gimignano.
After about 100 metrea, turn right.

Arriving from the Sea-Side :
Take the tool-free way Aurelia and exit at "Cecina Palazzi". Then follow the signs for Volterra. Straight on for about 35km and follow the signs for San Gimignano.
After the town of Castel San Gimignano there is a cross and you have to turn on the left, following the signs for San Gimignano.
After about 100 metres turn to right.
