Dinners and wines were very good. Breakfast is poor: canned fruit salad and juice; pastry is not tasteful. For that rate, the room could have been better furnished. Swimming pool is pleasant. View is lovely on the tuscany hills

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, allerdings hätte ich mir etwas Abwechslung bei der Wurst und Käseauswahl gewünscht. Auch der Zimmerservice war nicht optimal, Handtücher wurden nicht immer erneuert.

We had a fantastic time in Italy and staying here made the visit eveen more special. The hotel staff were very helpful and ensured our stay was the best it could be. a beautiful hotel and we will be back to stay next time we are in italy.

We loved I Barronci despite the fact that the town is a bit dead. The hotel itself is really nice in terms of having large rooms and a nice reception and dining area. In addition, the grounds and the pool were very well maintained although it wasn't quite warm enough for us to swim. (We were there in late April). The hotel staff was extremely friendly. We ran into an issue in Florence when we lost our parking ticket to get out of the parking lot. We asked the hotel staff to help us by calling the parking lot phone # and they translated for us. All ended up being fine in the end and we really appreciated having a hotel staff who could speak English well. The hotel restaurant was great for both breakfast and dinner! The pizza parlor in town has great salads and pizza. The service was slow but the food was good and it was reasonably priced.

This was the best place we stayed in during our entire 6 week trip. Words cant describe how good this place is. The owners are amazing and actually have dinner next to you in the restaraunt. The view from the pool is amazing and the rooms are beautiful. U MUST STAY HERE

All rooms furthermore offer electronic key card access.

INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE Parking is included in the price. Use of swimming pool, with whirlpool, is included. Massage treatments are not included and cost from €35,00 (plus VAT), for a 50-minute Shiatsu session, to €120,00 (plus VAT), for 3 60-minute antistress sessions. Mountain bike hire for 3 days is €45,00, and each additional day costs €10,00. Motorcykle, moped and scooter hire costs from €28,00, for half-a-day, to €200,00, for 7 days. How to reach Villa I Barronci Country Resort Inn
By carFrom the highway Milano-Roma, take exit Firenze Certosa, get on the Firenze-Siena highway and exit at San Casciano Val di Pesa Nord. Turn right and enter the Cassia road (SS1), in the San Casciano V.P. direction. After a 2 km climb, just upon entering the town, near the Fiat car sales, turn right in the Empoli-Cerbaia direction. After 3 km, in the Empoli direction, lies Via Sorripa. The B&B is the second villa on the right hand side.
From the highway Siena-Firenze, take exit San Casciano Val di Pesa Sud, turn left onto the SS1 Cassia road, in the San Casciano Val di Pesa direction and follow the indications above, from the 2 km climb.
By train
Florence central railway station Santa Maria Novella is 17 km from the B&B and connected to the area by bus.
By airplane
Florence airport is 20 km from the B&B.
Pisa airport is 70 km away.
From both airports, take the train to Florence and continue by bus to the B&B. It is also possible to contact the B&B for a transfer service.
