exterior The B&B ART is a charming bed and breakfast and holiday apartments located in an ancient palace which was recently restored in San Casciano Val di Pesa, a quiet city conveniently situated in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, within easy reach of the most important tourist sites of Tuscany. It is close to Florence, which is only 15 kilometres away. For those without a car, bus service is available from San Casciano Val di Pesa to Florence main railway station, Siena and various other famous tourist sites. The bus stop is a few metres from the B&B ART entrance. Shops, parking places, bars and good restaurants are located close to the B&B.
The B&B ART takes its name from the precious contemporary art collection housed in the palace.
All our Double Rooms and Junior Suite, each one unique, are distinguished by the typical wood-beam ceilings and by the terracotta tiled floors, furnished with genuine antiques and equipped with en-suite private bathroom, hairdryer, TV sat, telephone, heating / air conditioning (mini bar only in Junior Suite).

suite The B&B ART disposes of Double Rooms (also for single use) and Junior Suites, each one unique, distinguished by the typical wood-beam ceilings and by the terracotta tiled floors and furnished with genuine antiques.
All Double Rooms are equipped with en-suite private bathroom with shower in marble or bathtube, hairdryer, TV sat with LCD monitor, telephone, heating / air conditioning. Elegant and unique tapestry distinguish every room.
The two Junior Suites are comfortable holiday apartments made of double room, large living room with sofa (which can be used as second double bed) and armchairs, equipped kitchen, mini-bar, dining area, en-suite private bathroom with shower in marble, hairdryer, TV sat with LCD monitor, telephone, heating / air conditioning, hand-made tapestry. Our Junior Suites are situated on the second floor with a spectacular view on Chianti hills.

How to reach B&B Art

By car
If you come by car, from the highway A1, exit at "Firenze Certosa" and, after paying the toll, turn right on the "superstrada" towards Siena. After 6 Kms go out from the "superstrada" and turn right towards San Casciano; go on for about 4 Kms and follow the indication for "Teatro" and "ProLoco". Stop in the main square, "Piazza della Repubblica" and park the car. The B&B ART is beyond the ancient walls situated on the right part of the square.

By train
The nearest railway station is Firenze Santa Maria Novella. From there you can catch the bus "SITA" to San Casciano Val di Pesa; the bus station is 2 minutes walking from the railway station. The B&B ART is other 2 minutes walking from the bus stop.

By airplane
The nearest airport is Florence Peretola. From there you can take a taxi to San Casciano Val di Pesa (or ask us for transfer)
