As commented by many travelers, the french-brazilian owners are adorable and give excellent advise on travel tips. The pousada is well-kept and has a very family feel. Good breakfast with great view over the bay. Only complaint: very scarce amenities provided in the bathroom: make sure to bring your own shampoo!

Pousada Casa Vila Bela is a great place to go to in Salvador. The location is quite good, personnel and owners are very nice and helpful. I recommend to go there and spend couple of days enjoying the sun, views and the nearby restaurants. roman

We arrived on a dark and rainy night. The area is challenging at that time. The hosts were fabulous and most helpful, breakfast terrific. Keep in mind, they definately DO NOT accept credit cards, even though our reservation was guaranteed through one, and ATM's are few and far between in that area.

Avant tout, la Casa Vila Bela est l'expression de la passion de Stéphane et Gerusa pour Bahia. Idéalement située dans le quartier historique animé de Salvador, si vous souhaitez découvrir la vraie couleur, la saveur de la ville, ils sauront vous donner les "bons plans" en fonction de vos goûts et du temps dont vous disposez. C'est avec enthousiasme que nous validons les commentaires précédents positifs ( accueil, situation, décoration,propreté, petit-déjeuner, personnel, conseils...). Vous pouvez vous laissez conseiller en toute confiance, ce qui est important dans une ville comme Salvador... Notre séjour a été une réussite grâce en partie au choix de cette poussada: encore un grand Merci à toute l'équipe!

It was my first stay in Pousada Casa Vila Bela and I will recomand it. Nice place not far from the old historycal center of Salvador. The owners are very sympathic people.
