It is our fault that we were put in a basement room and did not ask if there were any rooms upstairs. Although the room was clean and spacious, the noise was unbelieveable. We were back to back with the kitchen and the public restroom. We never slept the entire night due to the kitchen noise and talking and restroom flushing! It was awful. If we could have gotten a refund and left we would have. Joe and Donna Plymouth, WI, USA

Pros: Good location - close to restaurants, convenient. Cons: In our room on the ground floor, the bathroom was tiny and got flooded every time we took a shower. Bad odor from the drain spreads into the whole apartment.

The Inn has a very good location near to the island in the Tiber and within walking distance of the old city centre. We had the triple room. Negative points: 1) basement room without a window 2) it is next to the kitchen (noisy at night - take ear plugs with you). 3) emergency exit ??? Positive points: 1) clean, spacious and airconditioned room 2) good location to visit Rome 3) The staff is very helpful 4) good food at the restaurant

While the area around the hotel, Trastevere, is excellent that is the only good thing I can say about this B&B. The room was a postage stamp with a bathroom that really can only be described as a closet - think train bathroom, where the shower/toilet/sink are totally all together in about 4 square feet. The room was very hot, no AC, so had to have the one window open which meant it was very noisy with cars/people passing by within 2 feet. The school across the street meant early morning noise from the kids. Like us you may be attracted by the price but don't do it!

Fortunately the weather was good, because we were in a cellar which was in the restaurant. Because of the weather all the people eating at the restaurant sat outside, so we had not any problems with the noise. The worse thing was that the room was very damp and that there was no window...

As a metter of fact the room is a garage and it is really really wet: in the morning the water was pouring down the windows. the room is in Trastevere and the position is fantastic.

We were delighted with the surroundings and the kind hospitality of the people in Trastevere. Our room was unconventional,a halfstair down from the street with it´s own entrance, but nice (if not so luxurious). There were some small problems with the gasstove, but we got help from the sweet staff of the B&B. We could reccomend this place to anyone who wants to experience a slightly adventurous but really friendly and afordable stay in Rome!

I was shocked when I realised that the room was in a basement floor. The picture on the website does not correspond with the reality. You never dream about that the entrance is through a door which is the only window in the room, which also makes it possible for people outside to look down at you in the room. It didn't feel safety enough. It was extremely humid. One good thing, the room was clean.
