It is a perfect place from where to experience Rome.

We were only provided with 1 towel - for 2 people. The staff member who visited on the second morning smoked constantly - the foyer and kitchen stank of cigarette smoke. There was dirt and black hairs everywhere in the room - the room (particularly bathroom) had not been cleaned sufficiently. The directions to find the apartment were poor - we had to get a taxi to help us find the place. The breakfast was very average - 'long-life' crossaints, jam and orange juice!! The guests staying in the other room came home at all hours and made heaps of noise. We were not allowed to use the lift - apartment on the 2nd floor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE

Someone was there to meet us outside the apartment. We were shown breakfast for two days left in fridge, pre-packed croissants, preserves, long life milk. No butter. Tea and coffee left in cupboards for you to makje your own. Accommodation consisted of three double rooms and one small kitchen, no leisure areas and anywhere comfortable to sit. Surrounding area not very clean. No-one present when we left so had to leave keys with other couple staying in apartment.

The Opera Inn Suites were very conveniently located to San Pietro and the Metro. The room was clean, but shower was tiny!! The Breakfast provided was of a poor standard - juice and pre packaged croissant. Luckily there was a great trattoria nearby. Not great value for money, but you are paying for the location.

Spent 3 days in July 2008 - As expected (see comments!), better be aware that it is not advertised outside the front door !! We were lucky that someone went out (and knew about the floor of the B&B) while we were wondering how to enter (ask for Paola's phone number on booking). Paola is very kind and helpful, speaking a bit of italian was very useful though. We were very quiet, as we were the only guests. We could use the fridge. The croissants in plastic bags for the breakfast were more enjoyable that what they looked like. 1 problem: the floor of the room was not clean.

Non-smokers are in for an upleasant surprise if they are not aware that smoking is allowed in the rooms. Our room reeked of cigarette smoke when we arrived, but after two days of efficient airing it was OK. The doors to the rooms were not sound-proof and had poor-quality locks. The modern decoration was a nice change after living in several places with a traditional and romantic style. The kitchen was cute.

Rome was our first destination of the journey. We had a 15hours flight with a small delay and arrived one hour later than we had advised. The employee of the B&B was angry!!! considering it was Sunday we apologized with her, but it was not a good begining. Anyway the service was very good, the room very clean and breakfast fine. The address was not indicated properly on the web page and had to ask help to make a call to the B&B. It was imposible to find the apartment in the ring list.

Need better directions to the B&B from the train station. However the accomodation was very good value for money, paerticularly as it was 300m from the Vatican

Hotel was perfect for our group as we were 3 couples traveling together. This was basically a 3 bedroom apartment with common kitchen area. Self serve coffee/tea/packaged pastry. Our rooms were only made up one day of our 3 day stay and fresh towels were not provided. This would be a good option for family traveling together. Very close to Vatican City.

We were very disappointed because the website stated the location was much closer to the Vatican than it really was. In fact, I booked one location and they sent us a confirmation to another. So when we arrived, we went to the locatioon on the web but they sent us way out of our way to the different location. Service was okay,but we had to prepare our own breakfasts. The lady didn't speak English well and smelled of booze. I would not recommend this B & B.

Es gibt 2 Adressen - das sind die Zugänge von verschiedenen Seiten zum Haus. Am besten kurz vor Ankunft Paola anrufen, die dann vor der Haustüre erscheint. Ansonsten sehr gute Lage vor dem Vatikan. Das Frühstück ist für deutsche Verhältnisse recht kärglich - braucht man allerdings auch nicht, da man in ROM überall Espresso und kleines Gebäck recht günstig bekommt. Um die Ecke ist auch ein Bäcker, bei dem man frische Semmeln kaufen kann. Es gibt keine deutschen TV-Programme - aber man kommt auch nicht zum Fernsehen nach ROM! Ansonsten sauber und o.k.

Very nice staff, clean and modern rooms in a regular appartment block, very good and cheap parking possibilities in nearby garage at piazzala stazione san pietro, very good access to public transportation as end loop of bus no. 64 is really close.

I would stay here again. We took advantage of the shuttle from the airport which was wonderful and insured the pensione director would be prepared for our arrival. We were disappointed that the breakfast dishes were not cleaned the second morning, so we were unable to eat breakfast there. I'm not sure if we misunderstood, perhaps we were expected to clean up after ourselves. This B&B is in an excellent location, very near St. Peter's.

it was diffucult to find because de the name is not written on the door. No indication except the main adress. Fortunately, the main door was opened by someone and inside the courtyard we met someonelse whom we ask and who knew the location and gave us the indication...

This was a very sweet little B&B. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, just a sweet bread roll and plastic jam with coffee.

Found street...no problem.Info on how to find the B&B very unclear. When we eventually found Paolo, great lady, very welcoming. Location brilliant for Vatican City/Museum & St Peter's. Room & Apartment clean and quiet. Would return tomorrow if could.

Estuvimos aquí en octubre. Muy buen sitio. La habitación excelente, amplia y cómoda. Al principio no encontramos la propiedad porque no hay ningún cartel en la puerta pero preguntamos a un vecino y nos lo indicó enseguida. Al llegar nos estaba esperando una señora que nos enseñó el lugar y nos dio las explicaciones necesarias para nuestra estadía. Muy amable. Los alrededores son tranquilos. Está a diez minutos a pie del Vaticano y a 200 mts de la estación de trenes de San Pietro. La única pega es que está un poco alejado del centro de la ciudad y la parada de metro mas cercana está a 15 minutos andando ( Ottaviano, linea A ) .

It would be helpful if you explained exactly what a guest should do, that is TELEPHONE to the agency before arriving at the door. As it was, we depended on a kind stranger to let us into the building and, 15 minutes later, another kind stranger to telephone for us. After that, all was well. PAULA is a wonderful person, could not have been more helpful and went out of her way to assist us in so many ways. She is a gem. Printed tourist information provided was very useful. The location is fantastic.

We had an amazing stay. The room was great. Paola who runs it is one of the nicest and most hospitiable people around. We would return tomorrow if we could. KJ and RG
