Good location e very nice for the nigthlife in Roma. The Trastevere district is in the summer the youth meeting. Very good for tipically restaurant and it's easy to go wherever in Roma with pubblic transport. 10 minutes by feet to Isola Tiberina, 20 minutes to Column Traiana (end of Imperial Fori street).

Slyvie was very nice in greeting me even though I arrived late because my flight was delayed. The room was very nice and the traveler's guide and map she gave me was really helpful. It was definitely a nice stay and I wish I would have stayed there longer.

The Rosa room was so spacious, a real luxury when travelling in Europe! And for that price, it's unbeatable.

Nice apartment / guest house. Sylvie was great and provided a great overview of Rome. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The location is quiet but centrally located (walking distance to everything in Rome). The guest house/apartment is up 4 flights of stairs; this is not an issue for myself, but could be for others. Lack of a/c was fine as Rome tends to be cool in the evenings.

Sylvie was very welcoming and simpatico. Pleasant and interesting neighborhood, lovely and artistic decorating, roomy, comfortable -- fairly convenient bus connections to other parts of Rome. We would definitely stay there again! The bar Sylvie recommended around the corner had wonderful breakfast options and you could even sit down without paying a cover charge. There is no lift, so stairs might be an issue for older and/or handicapped. Otherwise, superb hostess, facilities and location.

Lovely, central in the characteristic Trastevere district, adapt expecially for couples. I liked very much Silvie's photos on the walls and the feeling of "warm" of the guesthouse. Sylvie is very friendly :) .

Maria-Rosa was beyond my expectations in terms of guide materials and good advice on Rome, exhibitions, restaurants, where to go and when. Tough climb to the third floor. Not for disabled or weak people with a lot of luggage...

Sylvie is the most helpful host you could ask for. her directions for getting there from the airport were excellent (in fluent english), her recommendations for food and drink in trastevere totally reliable and always good value, and her hints on how to get the most out of Rome were always on the mark. the guest house is in the perfect spot: groovy, convenient and fun. very comfortable beds, good bathroom - it's all there. and sylvie makes it all that much better. we only had a short time but we would not hesitate to recommend this guest house to family and friends, and will certainly stay there again when we return to this wonderful city.
