Great welcome by the staff, guest house looks like new in most of it, clean room and free to serve breakfast. The location was great, very close to the center with metro and buses only a minute away (...but because of the central station that is located there, it is not the cleanest location). It was not clear if there was a TV in the rooms (you can see a TV in one of the pictures and I thought it was included in all rooms but there was no TV in my room) not that I needed it / too tired of all that site seeing. Overall really happy with the stay.

This Guest House was really awesome. Very close to Termini Station. From there, you can go everywhere in Rome by foot. The staff is kind and explains everything to you + doesn't hesitate to suggest some visits if you need. The room was cleaned everyday. It's all new and always clean. The relationship between price and quality was excellent for us. Nothing to add, don't hesitate to choose this guest house for your stay in Rome.

First time in Guest House Rome and we'll never come back. The room was horrible, we had no hot water and no heating. The room was dark and smelled bed, the towels were never changed in our stay (4 days). The breakfast was only milch and coffee and some biscuits, and you prepare it yourself. There is no indicator in front of the building or inside it for the"Guest House Rome" , so you have to ask the neighbors where it is? conclusion : DON'T STAY THERE !!! It is horrible....

The owner was really helpful. He actively contact us & guide us to find his place. He also provide us an effective guide through the map - so we can cover the most attractive place in just 2 days. The location was perfect - so we can go on foot & we return by metro or bus which is only 1 or 2 euro. And the station is almost in front of the place. The room was great - clean and with access to the kitchen which is an added value; so we can cook our home meal. Would love to stay here again when in Rome.

I stayed here with my 15 year old daughter. Our stay was very enjoyable. Paula was sweet, welcoming and informative. Our twin room was fairly small and there was a lot of noise at night from the street and people above us, plus an inconsiderate guest who came in late at night and slammed the doors. The location is perfect for getting around by foot or by local transport. Paula and Marco were helpful and gracious, the accommodation is clean and breakfast is adequate for the price. We cannot wait to return to Rome, what an amazing city!

Me and my boyfriend had a great time at Guest House Rome. The room was newly renovated, clean and nice and the girl taking care of us provided excellent service and good suggestions of sights and restaurants. Since you made your own breakfast in the morning it was possible to bring your own food as well which suited us good. The location was good since it was close to the train/bus station and close to many restaurants.

This clean, quiet, safe facility provided just what we wanted; close proximity to the trains and convient location to the historic, central Rome sites. Our visit was enhanced by the owner's insightful recommendations of clustered sites and local treasures. The bed was comfortable, the shower refreshing and the built-in wardrobe accomodated our luggage easily. The narrow elevator was a welcomed lift to our room after a day of seeing the sites.

Marco is a rellay nice guy, and an excellent host! We had a little bit of trouble finding the place because the street doesn't appear in the map we got with the Roma Pass. The brekfast is self-served, lots of cookies. Te cleaning lady comes really early, about 9 am if she can clean ok, if not, she will just leave. In our last day, she practically kicked us out of the hotel, this was a little bit dissapointing, as the hotel was overall really nice. Will come back, if they change the cleaning lady!

Pros: Convenient location near the main train station (and it was easy to find). Hospitality of staff is excellent. Clean and comfortable rooms. We had a wonderful stay at, Town House Suite Guest House Rome. While the surroundings were a bit on the seedy side, we felt safe and secure when arriving at the suite! Marco was a pleasure to meet and was very helpful with pointing out the best sites to see while in Rome! A big plus is being so close to the train station across the street. The only down side was the city noise which we became used to! I would not hesitate to stay again and recommend it for a value concious traveler

I agree with all the positive comments about Marco, the cleanliness and size of the room (we had the big one) and the advantages in the kitchen, but I suggest you to read all the comments the people has wrote. The apartment has Ikea furniture, so is modern but doesn’t have a “personal atmosphere” as others B&B we have been, where the host “offers” you his house. UPS: - Located near Termini, that’s means two steps to Train, buses and Metro. - Inside Termini you will find a small market called CONAD, open from 6:30 a.m. to midnight. - The neighborhood is plenty of folks all around the world, so you will find China’s food, India’s food, Pakistan’s food and of course, Italian’s food. At least one day, take breakfast (and why not, romantic dinner too) in the Restaurant Convoglia, and try there the Capuccino. ¡Ummm! To pay 1,30€ per Cappuccino is a bargain, compared with the expensive prices in France. DOWNS: - Not Internet access. - Not Satellite TV. - Payment must be in cash, or at least 50% of the total amount. Why? Marco said: in Italy “is not common to pay by card”. The true is that he prefers to have the money in hand! - Breakfast: Marco doesn’t lives in this apartment, so don’t expect an appetizing and warm breakfast “made at home”. You will find (low quality) cereals, milk and coffee, and a kind of bred whit jam inside (not healthy), toasts and more jam. Not salted element as cheese or eggs or bacon, even bred/baguette.

We had a very good time in Rome. The Guest House was a very nice place to stay and very clean and spacious. Near to Termini Station and Metro. Marco is very kind and helpful and gives a lot of information and a map of Rome. The breakfast is a bit light for people who need a good and sizeable meal on morning and the kitchen space is al little bit small when all the guests have breakfast together. We wish Marco good luck with the Guest House, a lovely place to be for your trip to Rome!! Kind regards, Jozien and Marc from Holland

Lovely place to stay. Extraordinarily friendly manager, available and ready to help with info. Silent, easy to reach, great please to find also "real" restaurant not only tourist traps. Super confortable matress, furniture and kitchen super! The only downsides: no internet, small problem with the Wc cover (which I'm sure it will be dealt with asap), maybe a new coat of paint soon...Ok, maybe I'm asking for too much. Tip: Go RIGHT when leaving the railway station and the street is the 3rd street on your left. There is no sign, just a small nameplate on the buzzer. the wellcoming is very good: Marco give us good explanations and advices about Rome "in 3 days" the situation of this B&B is very practical: it is near from Termini Stazione (2' by foot) and metro (5' min) but just a little far from other interessant sites like Vatican or Centro storico. At last, maybe is the breakfast a bit light for people who need a good and sizeable meal on morning (no bread, just rusk, no butter, no fruit juice). if they improve this point, it will be a very nice B&B. have a good trip!

The location of the house is excellent. On arrival was a bit confused because the entrance is not very simple, but the owner of the house received us well. The house is comfortable but it is very difficult to sleep in the morning because the cleaning lady knocks on the door too early to clean it. When the door would not open the room was not clean. At breakfast there are only sweets and unhealthy.

First time in Rome and the owner Mr. Marco help us a lot as soon as we arrive to plan our visits in the 5 days we had in Italy. The B&B is totally new, everything works and looks fine (just as the pictures), the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean in depth every day, and the have AC too. The breakfast available is pretty simple (cereals, cookies, juice, coffee) but it is enough to get you trough the morning and you can buy your own things and use the kitchen if you want more. Even tough the B&B is not in the prettiest place in Rome if you walk a little (2 blocks) you find out that you are in a hotel area with a lot of restaurants, 2 important churches you must include in your visits and if you like walking like we do, you are in centric walking distance of a lot of tourist places. If you include in your visit to Rome fulldays by train to other cities (Venice, Florence, Pisa, etc) this hotel is perfect because you are on the other side of the street of the Termini Train Station (main station in Rome), so is perfect as you can wake up, eat your breakfast, and cross the street to catch the earliest train, and it does not matter you arrive late because you don't have to take a taxi to your hotel, you just have to cross the street and go to sleep.

We spent four nights at the Guest House, accompanied by three of our children. It is an excellent location directly at Roma-Termini, from where you can reach every bus, tram or metro. So it´s likely the best point to start a sightseeing program. Some restaurants just a few steps away with moderate prices for what they serve. The owner, Marco, is a very polite and helpful guy, who gave us a lot of useful information. We already got very helpful information from him before (train, where to find the place etc.) via e-mail. Although breakfast isn´t german at all ;-)) , it surely meets local standard. Overall we can highly recommend a stay in the Guest House Rome.

Our overall experience at Guest House Rome was a pleasant one. Marco was a very polite and informative host. The surrounding area isn't the best looking part of town but, has very convenient access to public transportation and an internet cafe. The smells of people cooking dinner coming from the neighboring apartments are amazing! Our room was a bit tight for two people, the bathroom in particular. We stayed in Rome for 4 days, 3 nights. This bed and breakfast is very nice, the room is very clean and very welcoming. It is basically an apartment with 4 rooms (each with own bath) and a kitchen. Continental breakfast is provided. Marco, the manager/owner is the nicest person! He received us and he made our stay great! Very helpful, and just overall a good person. The location was not the nicest, it is close to the Termini station, which is not the safest place around. About 3 blocks further down from the train station, the neighborhood starts getting really sketchy. But where the hotel is, it is fine, lots of tourists arriving from the train station, there are always people on the street. And the location is walking distance to many places, and you have easy access to the metro.

Marco offers a great bed & breakfast for an acceptable price. Thank you! Some things he could make better, then his location will be perfect: the breakfast is for german requirements very economical (Zwieback!)... the beds are very flexible and the toilet seat must be repaired ;-)

The welcoming of Marco was so warm we could'nt believe such a nice person was in charge. He even cared to let us know of a new exhibition on those days. The room was always very clean, the breakfast was very correct (the milk was particularly tasty!) and the atmosphere is modern but cosy and welcoming We had a very nice stay in Rome, and part of the success was due to Guest House of Rome. Whenever we go back to Rome, we will go back to this B&B.

We stayed at Guest House Rome for four nights. The highlight of our stay was the service that we received from host Marco. He provided us with fantastic ideas and suggestions for our time in Rome and went above and beyond to be of assistance to us. This included us thinking that we had lost our passports and him being more than willing to assist us at 2:00am in going through the formalities of having them replaced. He was a kind and gracious host and together with the overall quality and value for money provided by Guest House Rome made our stay very enjoyable and memorable. Thank you Marco.

As everyone says: Marco is fantastic!! He definitely goes out of his way to ensure your stay is comfortable. He took the time to give us a map of Rome, and show us the best places to see and the best way to get there. Our room was the one that looked out over the building's courtyard, which was a beautiful way to experience "everyday" Rome. The room was extremely clean, but also small. The bathroom was very narrow and my knees hit the wall every time I used the toilet, but the shower was surprisingly spacious. A frosted window in the shower stall provided a lot of light and extra room; the water pressure was great, and I enjoyed a lot of relaxing HOT showers (yay for hot water in a foreign country!!). There was a window that opened fully onto the courtyard, and I loved sitting with it wide open and listening to Rome. The windows looked very new, and kept all of the cold and noise out. It was very easy to hear other guests, but outside noise was masked with the windows closed. I have only two complaints about the hotel. First, the bed was disgustingly hard. I don't know if it's just a European thing (since my bed was also hard when I went to Amsterdam in February), but it felt like we were sleeping on a piece of foam on top of the bed frame. I don't think I slept all the way through a night my entire stay there; it's just very difficult to relax on such a hard surface! My second is that finding Marco’s rooms was extremely difficult. For future travelers: once you've gone through the big brown door on the street, walk THROUGH the first building, ACROSS the courtyard, and then take the lift to the FOURTH FLOOR. There are actually two "buildings" in the complex with two entirely different stairways and elevators. Learn from our experience! I cannot forget to mention the location: perfectly convenient. It was a huge blessing to just hop off the metro and walk one block before collapsing in the room. Also, there were probably three buses in the entire

Thank you Marco. Your place is excellent and so were you. Bathroom very good, our room a bit small as we wished twinbeds instead of double but it is OK for a few days, breakfast the best we had in our 10 days stay with milk and cereal! Thanks for that. Clean and friendly. Would have liked to say goodbye when we left though. Where were you?? Good position close to Termini, trains, busses shuttlebus, city center. I would not hesitate one moment to stay at your place next time in Rome.

Marco, I just can't say thank you enough for providing such a nice, clean, and comfortable place during our 3-day stay in Rome. We definitely enjoyed our stay Guest House Rome. This is the best place with price/quality ratio. To make the already best place even better, here are a few suggestions: 1. Can provide basic shower soap/cream, shampoo and conditioner in bathroom. 2. Complimentary breakfast was very basic, can add bread to the breakfast. We had to buy breakfast from the supermarket. 3. Put air-con remote control in all rooms. My room didn't have one. 4. Install Shower rack. We had to put our shower cream and shampoo/conditioner on the floor while taking shower. 5. Walking back from train Termini to guest house was short but still take extra caution to all the people on the street at night time. They don't really look nice and we were being threatened once. I had to walk with tripod holding in hand.

Superb location, within 100m from Rome Termini (train station) which is the hub for all sort of transportation in Rome city. You can easily find Rome city tour bus, airport transfer coach and etc. The apartment type of rooms is perfectly clean, modern and secure.Room is cleaned daily with new towel provided. No worries with hot shower and air-con as everything is working fine. Next to mention is the owner of the unit, Marco.Extremely helpful and considerate person. He will be there for you even if you reach Rome late at night (just need to inform him the detail of your itinerary). We were there around 9pm and he was waititng at the Termini in order to lead us to the place, this was really touched. Beside that he also helped us on planning my daily itenerary for Rome sight seeing. Nonetheless, his willingness to share personal cell phone for easy contact made our stay in Rome more comfortable. I would definately choose to stay here again during my second visit to Rome.

We had a great stay at Guest House Rome. It's very conveniently located next to the Metro & Termini Stations, and the Colosseum is about 25 min by foot. We got to the Vatican in about 15-20 min using the Metro. The place is simple and clean, recently renovated, and Marco is an informative host with a very good map. The air conditioning was a nice touch, and the shower worked great. Our room was cheery, comfortable and faced a courtyard, and we got plenty of plastic hangers to dry any travel laundry. The location in a residential apartment courtyard building was quiet and peaceful. Was worth every Euro. FYI for the trip back to the airport, don't bother with the ticket machines at the far end of the station. There's a train ticket machine next to the Leonardo Express tracks 25-29.

Marco was an excellent host. He helped us alot in planning for our itinerary in Rome. We only had a day and a half in Rome but Marco highlighted the important places to visit and advised on the most time efficient route to take. We followed his recommendations closely and it worked out very well for us, thank you Marco! About the guest house, it was very clean and tidy and the furnitures were very new. We felt totally at home because we were free to use the kitchen and there is a small living area outside the rooms, it felt cosy. There were always breakfast food and beverages available in the kitchen which was replenished on a daily basis. The wardrobe in the room was big, bed was comfortable (we took the room with shower) and the bathroom was pleasant. However, we had some difficulty locating the guest house as it is located within a residential apartment. Upon arriving at the guest house, use the telecom at the main entrance to dial to the apartment. It would have been better if there was signage at the main door to indicate that the guest house is located within the premise. Overall, we had a wonderful and enjoyable stay in the Guest House and would definitely go back again if we were to visit Rome in future!

The room was nice but the person cleaning took dirty towels we left on the floor and hung them back up to be used, also mirrors were never cleaned. As far as the noise level, if you left the window open it was extremely loud traffic noises but if you closed it, voila you could sleep better. The owner Marco was extremely helpful to us, had a map and showed us where everything was. For the money he charged it matched the services and I would stay here again

Marco is an excellent Inn Keeper. He was super friendly and found us when we were lost! We would definitely stay here again. The one thing that I didn't like was the strong smell of mothballs....my husband didn't notice much but I did. One sort of got used to it by the end. But the rooms and the whole place was so beautiful! We had a little baby with us and it was a great place to walk everywhere from.

Great location right near the Termini station so convenient for the metro. Marco the host was really friendly and helpful and reassured me that if I needed anything at all he could be there within 10 mins wherever I was in Rome. As a woman travelling with 2 children it was important I was in a safe neighbourhood and I felt extremely safe there. The apartment was very clean and modern and we were able to use the kitchen facilites as and when we wanted. Excellent stay could not fault anything.
