We informed Vivi Roma to arrive around 17.00 hrs, due to luggage delay we came at 18.00 hrs, nobody was there to welcome us. When we called the number we were informed that someone came to the B&B. After 20 minutes somebody came who informed us that there was a water problem in the B&B. A friend arranged another B&B which was very good. So we never arrived at Vivi Roma, but I think the place where we ended was overall much better! We do not recommend Vivi Roma to anyone!

Even though the owner didn't speak almost any english, we understood each other well. Have to say my stay was great, coffee&brioche for breakfast in the bar round the corner was OK-just make sure you get a voucher upon arrival, so you don't miss it the 1st morning). I recommend to every single (or couple) low budget traveller to stay at ViviRoma. Very clean and central too. 200m to the closest metro. No sign on the building. (But that makes you feel even more local in the end :)

ViVi Rome is located very close (10min walk) of central railwaystation. Many of interesting places can easily reach by walking(Coloseum ). Metro station is near, we used it to go to Vatikan. The host of ViViRome was very frendly and helpful and we feel very good stay there. best regards Harri from Finland

The B&B is located in the road junction of via C. Alberto and via U. Rattazzi. It is a walking distance of 15 minutes from Rome Termini (Central train station); yet it is just next to Vittorio Emanuelle Metro Station! You may also take Buses no. 360 or 649 for just 3 bus stops from Rome Termini (direction towards Vittorio Emanuelle). The room is very cleaned, the staff is very friendly and helpful, he will even provide FREE internet service to you upon request. Since it is in the city centre and along the roadside, it is very noisy even at midnight. You may have breakfast (a piece of bread and a cup of coffee) at Piccolo Bar, which is just opposite to the B&B. The Bar is owned by a chinese. The owner is friendly too. Even you miss the breakfast, you can give the breakfast coupon to him in the afternoon and he will give a bottle of mineral water to you! Please note that the lift is not in service after 10pm, and the speed of the lift is very slow.

This is a budget accomodation in an expensive city. That being said, it was clean, comfortable, a large room and the service that I needed. The young man running the place is friendly, smart and helpful. He deserves whatever success comes his way.

Clean and well-situated place. The only desadvantage is the area at night. It is secure but not crowded and during the day it seems to be Chinatown. The place is ideal for young couple who only expect a place to sleep. Breakfast is poor, only coffe and a croissant in a bar situated on the corner.

Great Bed & Breakfast! The rooms were charming and the beds were actually comfortable! The location was in China town and near a lot of shopping as well as two blocks from the train station so it was perfect. The shared bathrooms were okay, we went with another couple, so we shared one with them. The breakfast was across the street in a little Italian bar, perfect Italian style breakfast, a donut or corssaint and a cafe or cappucino. Can't beat that! We drove to Rome and were able to find parking on the street pretty easily, paid 7 euro max for one day, so you save money on that. Would defintly stay there again when I return to Rome, they were very nice and were able to provide some recommendations. Thanks ViviRoma!

It's a clean place with a friendly host. Not much noise from the street and good public communications. The breakfast isn't much to mention, but that's clearly stated in the description.

Good localisation but the room was small, very noisy with no air-con. Poor value for money. We reserved the room well in advance for five nights and instead of a discount we probably got the smallest room available. I got a better deal not only in Naples (which was cheaper than Rome) but also in Venice (which was more expensive).

We stayed one night at ViviRoma. I received 3 emails prior to our visit reminding me that we needed to pay in cash and asking when we would be arriving. I replied each time. When we got to Rome I walked from the train station to the pension, expecting to find someone waiting, only to find the door locked. It took a while to find a phone (no mobile) and get someone to come to open the building. Once that was done, things proceeded smoothly. Our room was a bit cramped with the three of us in a double bed and a fold-out chair, but it was quiet and the bathroom was clean. We had to leave before breakfast the next morning, but were given tickets to exchange for some pastries and a Coke in place of the coffee we would have preferred. Gabriele speaks no English, so this ticket business was a bit confusing. But we would stay there again now that we know. The price is reasonable and the location is good.

It would be perfect if the staff speaks a bit English.

Stock (Lift). Alles in Allem absolut zu empfehlen!

the b&b itself was ok although the continental breakfast they promised on the website turned out to be a tiny piece of cake with a tiny cup of coffee. but i think its not a big deal when you consider the price for such a good location.

It was a very nice stay and I can recommend this place. However, the bathroom is not within the room, but is shared with other guests and it is necessary to arrange a time for arrival, beause the reception is not permanently occupied.

Young couple, perfect place to stay. only 4 rooms and although bathrooms are shared there are 2 so you are not sharing with many others. Very lovely and helpful host, english limited but no problem. close to termini without being in the seedy bit, walk to colosseum. definately recommend

Nice room and friendly staff - even though speaking no word of English. Breakfast in the cafe across the street was ok, as were the two bathrooms available for the five rooms. Nice interiour, and ideal proximity to train station. Good start for exploring Rome.

The place was a bit hard to find - there were no signs at all and we were just lucky that one of the owners turned up as we were trying to figure out which building it was. The place was nice and clean and relaxed and friendly, however, and one of the two owners spoke excellent English. No complaints, and they were kind enough to keep our bags until we had to leave for the airport on our day of departure. Cash payment only at the time we were there (September '05)
