If your looking for inexpensive accomadation there has to be better! Although immaculately clean the is a lot of negatives: Ran out of hot water every day, Noisy had 2 nights thier talking, Street noise will be the next thing that will keep you awake. There is no service or any staff around after hours to complain to or get help, No kitchen, No public areas, Its just a room to sleep, very clean though, but not anywhere to hang out and relax might as well stay at the youth hostel at least there you have "quiet times"

2 day stay. Antonio, proprietor, was friendly, helpful and accommodating. The standard breakfast was a packaged croissant and coffee left in the room, but he asked what else I wanted and provided fruit, yogurt, cheese and other rolls that I requested. There is no breakfast room, but he left them on the breakfast tray and in the frig. There was also water, milk, coke and juice in the frig that were included in the room price. There were posted prices for anything extra. The bathroom was CLEAN and the lighting was very good. There was WiFi that I used for my iPhone but also a computer in the hallway for guest use -- very convenient! No telephone in room. Across the street from tram line that went to Piazza Populo. Great location.

GOOD: Modest but nice restaurants around. NOT GOOD: We were kindly asked to pay in cash and we had no bill (just a receipt with no fiscal value) / Breakfast not good (no fruit, just packed stuff)

The owner of the B&B Vignola was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious (for the price) and nicely decorated. The B&B was in the nice residential area of Rome and we enjoyed the very good local restaurants around! We didn't know that we had to vacate the room for cleaning before 10am in the morning and we thought it was too early. Their breakfast was not the best in the world but it was good that we could have it in our own room without worrying about the time. The public area was unfortunately not very welcoming as it was in the middle of repainting (which is not their fault), and the corridor was a bit narrow + claustrophobic. We wish they could give us extra toilet tissues as well(it was not much). However, B&B Vignola was very good value for money and we loved it!

If you intend to come to Rome for the breakfast, try England instead. Otherwise this was a most positive experience. We shouldn't tell about this, because we want to have availability next time when returning. Don't be worried about the external presence of the B&B, it is only a small sign on the wall revealing this secret. You are in a relatively calm, residential, green area of the city, but due to the nearby Tram and Metro, you quickly reach any of the main attractions of Rome. Public transport is inexpensive and easy to use. Tickets available near the B&B from almost English speaking person in a Kiosk. Back to the B&B: The Entrance doors must be the safest we ever experienced. Rome's Fort Knox. You feel safe here! The public areas (shared with residents) are being renovated. B&B on 1st floor (one level up). Did not try the small elevator. The B&B rooms seem recently renovated. Neat, clean, tasteful art, tiled bathrooms, good size LCD TV with Sat receiver incl Sky channels. WLAN. A quiet Airco. Own coffee/tea maker. A small fridge. In summary: well equipped. But maybe what really made this the accomodation to recommend is the host, Antonio. He really made you feel welcome, and well informed about everything to see and experience, and making sure you have understood to operate all equipment. Recommendations regarding food and drink places nearby and in the city. A hint when arriving: try the vans that offer to drive you to your accomodation. Well worth it compared to train+taxi. And when leaving, why not leave in style. A Limo with friendly, English speaking driver(arranged by Antonio) takes you comfortably and quiet to the airport for just a little more than an ordinary taxi. Would we return to "Vignola"? Yes!

Super clean and very modern. We wished we had stayed a little more central in Rome because we had such a problem with the public transportation. Next time, we'll just walk everywhere. There is a tram closeby that takes you to Piazza del Popolo and then you can walk pretty easily from there or take the subway, but I really did not enjoy the public transportation in Rome at all. There is no breakfast provided except a croissant in a plastic package and the coffee pot was dirty so i was scared to use it. The biggest plus about this place was cleanliness and biggest minus was location.

Very friendly host, we valued very much the personal service. Rooms are quite well decorated in a modern, stylish way and well equiped with a.o. wireless connection. The bathroom offered a perfect shower after a long day of strolling through Rome. Quick connection by tramway to Piazza del Popolo.

Il B & B Vignola è davvero ottimo. Camera pulita e ben arredata, vicinissimo alla fermata del tram e situato in una zona tranquilla. Il rapporto prezzo/qualità è buono e il proprietario è molto gentile e disponibile.

Stayed by myself for two nights. Checked in late, after a phone call to Antonio to confirm the time. Parking near the hotel is a little tough, and expensive at 1euro/hour. Look for a parking garage before you go, if you're driving. Driving to this hotel is not required. Rooms are small and comfortable. Vignola is next to Tram 2, and very convenient to public transportation (Tram system into Roma). There's a fantastic restaurant right around the corner from the hotel. The hotel is very clean, with a modern look from recent remodeling. Wireless was a plus, and the shower pressure was fantastic. Better than any of the qualities of the hotel is Antonio himself. He's a very nice man, and one who has traveled extensively. He helped with all of my questions. Thanks Antonio!

Antonio was very welcoming and friendly. He spoke very good English and helped us surprise our friend who didn't know we had arrived in Rome to celebrate his birthday. The location of the b&b is out of the city centre, however it is very conveniently situated next to a tram stop. The tram then takes you to the Piazza Del Popolo and a Metro station. The location is quiet, just what is needed after a busy day in Rome, there are a few good bars and restaurants nearby. The rooms were comfortable, although one of the double rooms was a lot smaller than the other two, but it was fine for a 3 night stay. The bathrooms were of a good standard. The breakfast offered was pleasant - yogurt, croissant, toast plus hot and cold drinks. We had a situation where the cleaner locked the keys in the corridor from the bedrooms so couldn't clean all of the rooms. However, Antonio was very apologetic and did attempt to contact us during the day to explain. Altogther a very enjoyable stay.

Excellent room, close to all amenities and public transport, quiet location. Good restaurants within walking distance. Antonio was an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble, gave advice on restaurants, sightseeing, great breakfasts. Would definitely recommend and when we return to Rome, will definitely stay there again
