When we returned from a cruise we came back to Rome, because our hosts had been so kind and informative to us, and there was much more of Rome that we wanted to see. Please read the review above. This B&B is located right across from the Vatican. If you want to experience the most of what Rome has to offer, there is no place better. We even got to see the fireworks when Pope Franchesco came back from Sardinia. The Vatican is unbelievable, and our hosts were able to get us into anything we thought would be interesting. Not only could they show us the directions, but Rosanna, who grew up in Rome, was a former guide, and was able to give us advice from directions to places we wanted making reservations at the Vatican for us, and telling us about anything we wanted to know. We loved the homey atmosphere, and came to consider our hosts more like friends than just hosts. This bed and breakfast is more than a place to stay, it is a way to get into the heart of Roman culture. The breakfast was a place where we not only had delicious food, but met other travellers who were there to see at least a part of Rome. Our hosts expedited everything for the unacquainted. Although the building is old, the flat has been update to accomodae at least two couples, along with a kitchen and breakfast room. It was always clean, but it was the personal touch that would forever choose this B&B. Please read my review above for more information. I would say it was the highlight of our month long trip to Italy!

This is a very special Bed and Breakfast with a family like atmosphere! It is situated right across from the Vatican, and our hosts became not only our hosts but also our friends. It was a family like atmosphere, and particularly special to us because Rosanna grew up in Rome, and was a former guide. She brought not only the Vatican, but the city of Rome to life for us. She is also an American who spent many years in the States, and her husband is a retired scientist originally from Hawaii. They know both cultures very well, and it makes it so easy for the guests. Rosanna speaks not only Italian and English, but Spanish as well. Because she was a retired guide, she was able to get reservations for us to see the Vatican easily, and knew exactly what other places might be of interest to us. The flat we stayed in had not only two bedrooms with baths, but also a kitchen and a breakfast room as well. It captures the charm of Rome, and its location is unbelievable. We stayed two times there, and I think that is a testimony to how much we loved not only our rooms, but our hosts as well! We met other interesting travelers from the States at breakfast. If you want to capture the real flavor of Rome, this is for you!

My husband & I booked a week at V.V.in mid June on the basis of it's excellent reviews and were not disappointed. Rossana & David are THE most helpful & informative holiday hosts. They are experts on all aspects of ancient & modern Rome; Rossana used to be a professional tour guide in the city so how handy is that?! We got a warm welcome, lots of care & attention, loads of useful information and some really entertaining stories. We were very fortunate to have Rossana's company & expertise on a day trip to the fascinating old Roman port town of Ostia Antica. She really brought the place to life for us. We thoroughly endorse all the great comments about V.V. and highly recommend it. Thank you so much Rossana & David for a brilliant stay. We've thrown coins in the Trevi Fountain so hopefully we'll be back one day. Very best wishes to you both and "hi" to your gorgeous Labrador Molly.

David & Rosanna are number one in my book. They were very helpful in telling us where to go where to eat and where to be when the Pope came around. As a matter of fact, I was able to meet the Pope thanks to them. If and when I go back to Italy, I will stay no where else. If they are booked when I want to come, I'll just pick another date.

Rosanna was an excellent hostess-giving me not only guidance on Rome, but helping me confirm my flight, providing excellent advise on seeing Rome and becoming my first friend in Rome! I also enjoyed meeting David and Molly!!! They added that special touch to the heart - allowing me to learn about the Italian culture! Regards, Joan

Rossana, the owner, is a very warmhearted woman who takes a lot of care about her guests. The B&B is perfectly located for visits of St. Peter's Dome and the Vatican area. But also for the center it's just a nice stroll of about 20 minutes. We enjoyed our stay in Rome at Vatican Vista a lot! Thanks, Rossana!

Excelent service, location and price. Roxana is an incredible hostess, very kind and she knows all you need to explore the city. The b&b has all the things that you need to spend a wonderfull time in Rome, it´s only 3 blocks from the Vatican and you have a lot of busses to travel for all the city. The subway is very near too. The rooms are large and clean and the kitchen is full equipment. You have free internet too. I think is the better place to stay in Rome!

A true B&B in the original sense. Rossana and David opened their home and made us feel very welcomed. It's situated on a busy piazza, so just a bit noisy if you're not used to it.

Rosanna was a wonderful host! We had the whole apartment to ourselves as the other room was not being used. Rosanna lives on the 6th floor, but the B&B is on the 4th floor. We had free internet access and a view of the vatican. We had full access to the kitchen to make cappacino's whenever we wanted and the location was easy to find. We were very pleased with the location, price and quality of the room. It would also be a perfect place to stay if you had a young family and rented both of the rooms in the apartment. I highly recommend it and would definitely go back.

My friends stayed here and asked me to post this review.Irish couple in their mid forties, stayed in a good size room, very central. Rosanna was more than helpful, no hotel could compare to how well we were looked after. Normally wouldn't even consider staying in a b+b with shared facilities but this time it worked out great. Thanks to the reviews already posted on venere we took the chance and it paid off. I will definately recommend this accommadation to my friends and anyone staying in rome on a budget.
