Gianni and Anna Paola were welcoming and went out of their way to help make our first stay in Rome fun. They both gave great directions and advice to restaurants and how to use the buses and metro service. "Breakfast in bed" was great (not much room in the room to eat anywhere else!) best caffe'/cappuccino in town! Definitely stay here again!

Hotel Maria Luisa was perfect for our family of 4. The quadruple room was large enough for our teenagers and ourselves to move around. The hotel service was excellent and very accomodating. We very much enjoyed our morning breakfast delivered right to our room.

We were welcomed very warmly by Stefania and her husband. They were very helpful and made the extra effort to make car service arrangements for us as well as research restaurant addresses we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

Everything was fine about the Town House Suite Maria Luisa:great staff, facilities, surroundings.Since the location is so good I think Town House Suite House Maria Luisa caters to different categories of travellers.I haven't seen the other rooms(ours:the 'double' room was very nice),but I hope they have several alternatives to offer.Stefania,Roberta were especially helpful & very nice!

We will definitely go back there! Only comments for English tourist... don't expect your full English breakfast.... just a sample of Italian taste. All the rest was basically perfect. Although not in the middle of the historical attractions, it is near enough to walk and it is a perfect compromise between price and location.

This hotel is perfect, low price according to others hotels in Rome's center, people very kind (the only place where the person that welcomed us took time (we didn't ask for it, it was spontanous) to show on a map what to do and gived a really good map of the city). Thanks to that person we had a better trip that what we were expecting (only 48 hours in Rome and so much to do). The room was clean and well agenced. Breakfast was good. We totally have a very good opinion of this hotel et recommanded to everyone. Not expensive and really good prestations. We will come back!!!:-)

Stayed 4 days (3 nights) in Maria Luisa B&B. We had the earlier mentioned room next to the reception and kitchen and yes, you can hear things going on there. But to us, it was nothing disturbing. Room was sufficient, one single and a double bed, television, wardrobe, small bathroom with toilet, shower and sink. Nothing outstanding here, but simply fine. The personnel on the other hand, was very friendly and helpful to us: I lost my camera on the way to Italy and they have helped calling every number they could think of. At check-in we got a nice free map (every tourist seems to get one) with a nice personal explanation and recommendations about food, both downtown and close by. Also throughout our stay they were very helpful pointing out interesting things. Breakfast was fine, although a bit small for big hungry Dutch people. All in all, we had an excellent stay at Maria Luisa. If a nice and cosy but not too luxurious place is wat you are looking for, this will be it. As far as I am concerned, it will be our first choice when we come back for a second visit to Rome!

A gem of a B&B hotel. The location excellent. Busstops just around the corner, 5 min. walk to metro and 10-15 min walk to Termini, yet away from the seedy area around the termini. Service was excellent. Breakfast was abundant and fresh and brought to the room on the time specified. The operators Gianny and Stephania were very friendly and helpful with directions and reservations and went out of the way to make our stay very enjoyable. Definitely stay there if we visit Rome again. One thing, do mind the step as you step out of the building elevator especially with luggage as it is narrow. But that has nothing to do with this wonderful B&B.

What a bargain this B&B was, only 80 Euros a night, not many at that price in Rome. Hotel was walking distance to all main tourist areas. The couple who run the hotel are lovely, so friendly & helpful. The Metro is only 5 mins away, use it, only 1 euro. It takes you to Vatican etc. If you have a room near reception, breakfast is served in room(great) Cant fault it at all. Will def use again if visiting Rome.

A gem of a B&B. Operators Gianny & Stephania wwere most helpful and friendly and very patient in helping us with directions and reservations. The breakfast were always fresh and abundant and the coffee superb and hot. The room was spacious by European standard. Its location was very convenient with bus stops just around the corner, metro only 5 min. walk and Termini 15 min walk. Will sure recommend it to friends and will stay there again next time we're in Rome.

First night in another B&B because OVERBOOKING. that's very unpleasant, after a long, stressing and 38°C trip. we were send to Aelius B&B, a five* B&B. the second day we came back to Maria Luisa in the probably worst room (that one near to reception and coffee machine!). the breakfast is offer in room at the time YOU choose. we woke up with the preparation of the first breakfast at 6:30 maybe - very noisy! anyway, we ask for a 9:00 am breakfast and the fist time we receive that with punctuality from a very kind and tall boy. the second morning (the departure one) at 9:40 we were still waiting for our coffees. once we asked where could be them, we found a short boy listening insensitive to his ipod. didn't he remember us? ten minutes, and at 9:50 we could have our breakfast. fortunately our plane was in the afternoon! i don't recommend this b&b, sorry.

We stayed when we came to Rome the first time and were delighted by the warmth of our hosts and employees and the convenience and location of the hotel. There are also some very good inexpensive restaurants close by. We returned again on our way home.

The staff of the establishment were really helpful with directions or time of our breakfast(we changed it daily),they were very polite, fluent in english. The bus stop to almost all destinations was right outside the B&B,metro station at about 200m, everything convenient. 10min walk from villa Borghese, 15min from fontana di Trevi. However walking in Rome is just like being in a museaum so you don't get bored by going anywhere on foot. Just save energy by commuting to your destination and then come back on foot to enjoy the surroundings. The room was small but very clean with renovated bathroom, very poor breakfast though.Don't forget to use the discount code C3RN994 it will save you 20%. The bus ticket lasts for 75min and it counts for all means of transport. Rome is one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the people are generally polite and helpful so enjoy yourself there . P.S. The establishment is located in the same building with other establishments; the one that has got a sign on the street is the Embassy Hotel, that will help you to find your way in Google Earth, too.
