Bed and Breakfast Testaccio - Rome

I stayed at B&B Testaccio for the first time and I liked it very much, I found it comfortable and very clean. It was pretty close to the most famous sites and it was easy to find in the B&B surrondings good food! Elena the owner was very helpful and good with informations.

Really friendly owner makes you feel at home - the location is great, but you can walk along the river to the centre or Trastevere in 20 minutes.

Had a great stay in Rome. Elena was very welcoming and informative. The only small problems were waiting for the shared bathroom to be available, and you have to go downstairs to a cafe with vouchers for breakfast (which was just okay- a pastry, OJ, and coffee).

Elena (the owner) was very friendly and helpful, she gave us many advice. She was waiting for us at our arrival (at 1 am). We recommend this place to everyone willing to visit. It is well located and there is a good bus connection to the center (15 min) but also reachable by foot. The room was perfect for us. The neighbourhood is without tourist, near a nice and cheap market. You'll also find very good and cheap shops to buy fresh pasta, cheese, meat, pasta, oil olive, ice cream, etc

Elena was VERY helpful. She even pulled her car into a spot right in front to save it for us when we arrived. The apartment was VERY clean and in a nice part of town. We were able to still walk to everything! I hope we get a chance to visit again. This was a wonderful vacation, especially since we had 7 in our group. THANK YOU Elena!!!

We stayed in Rome for one week. The B&B was a perfect choise. It is located in Testaccio and has good links to the public transport system. By bus you can reach the Colosseum in almost 5 minutes. Our room was clean and nice. We had a little balkony to sit on and enough space for everything. The bathroom is shared with other people but it was clean and satisfactory. Elena the owner was nice and very hospitable. I can recomend this B&B to everybody who is searching for a cheap but clean and nice B&B.

Excellent value and loved the Testaccio area. Elena was charming and helpful. Close to transport-buses/metro-to all areas. Great restaurants. A quick walk across the bridge to the Trastevere or up on the Aventino--one of the loveliest places in Rome. Room basic but pleasant. The piazza is beautiful. Thumbs up!

We got a very nice welcoming to B&B Testaccio and Elena was very helpful with everything from helpful tips to helping us with booking a taxi. Public transport is very near and provide many options. Walking to the city centre (Piazza Venezia) took approx 30 minutes, either along the river Tiber och on the Avantino hill (with a very nice view).

Our room was comfortable and spacious. Elena, our host, was extremely knowledgable and hospitable. The location was the best part: in a real neighborhood with shops and families and you could get up close to regular Italian life. The B&B is on the 3rd floor of a building on a small piazza. There is a fabulous indoor market only a few blocks away and several times we would pick up bread, cheese, prociutto and strawberries for a wonderful snack on our daily excursion. Our location was a short walk from the Ostiense train line and the Pyramide Metro station and there are busses nearby. We were not far from the main attractions. We had a wonderful time! I visited with my two grown daughters.

B&B Testaccio was a very nice place for the money and in a great location. Right along the busline, or a 10 minute walk to the Metro. Cafes, Internet, laundry, supermarket, theatres and grocery store in a few blocks. Elena does her best accomodate her guests and was waiting for me when I arrived.
