Bed and Breakfast Termini Gold - Rome

We had a wonderful stay at the Termini Gold. Alberto, the owner, was there to greet us and provided us with a map of Rome as well as a few suggested sites and routes to take. The hotel was very clean with coffee and tea always available. Breakfast was very convenient and included toast, cereal, yogurt, juice, milk, coffee and espresso. Alberto is always available with any questions or to offer assistance. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is located on a quieter street near the termini and metro with two decent restaurant just a few steps outside the building.

We appreciated your attention to detail and the fact that you were willing to assist us with sightseeing in Rome, getting around, late checkout and obtaining doctors details when I came down with the flu. Rome is a fantastic city, but staying at your B&B made the experience that much more enjoyable. The rooms were always clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and we enjoyed the coffee from your fancy machine in the kitchen. The location of the B&B was good and the area quiet. We will definitely recommend this B&B to our friends!!

Alberto made us feel welcome and was very polite and courteous. He took pains to ensure we enjoyed our stay,providing us with an umbrella in case of rain and allowing us to remain in our room beyond 10:00 am on the day of departure so that we could pack at our leisure. We will definately stay again on any return visit to Rome. Grazir mille Alberto!

This was my second time in Rome and first time in BB Termini Gold. The appartment is entirely renovated and very neat and tidy. The building is in a corner between two streets. I didn't like the one that leads to Termini station (Via Principe Umberto), as it is not a very nice area, but the other street, Manzoni, was much nicer and I felt safe coming back late at night on foot. Alberto was really nice and helpful, he takes very good care of his BB and his guests. Termini Gold is a nice place to stay while visiting Rome.

We absolutely recommend this B&B, it's brand new, quiet, nice and close to key places like Coliseum (20 min walk) and to Termini and metro stations. Alberto gave us a warm welcome and good advice. Grazie!

I would not choose another place to stay in rome. i will tell all my friends and family about this B&B. Alberto was fantastic we saw places in rome that we would not have found if he had not been there it was like having a personal guide. He was there when we arrived and left and it felt like home from home. the rooms where big and very comfortable and it was very quiet. it is very close to the metro but you can walk most places it took 15mins by foot to the coliseum. 10/10 thanks again. suzy and lloyd smith

This B&B is lovely. Alberto is very helpful and keeps the place spotless.Breakfast is superb if you leave hungry it is your fault. tip- as it is a 30 -35 minute walk from the termini station suggest you go into the main train station stopping only for a bus ticket from the news paper stand. ( an all line rover ticket for 3 days is 11Euro) come out of the station on the right side for the hotel - left as the teians come in- and you will see a tram stop accross the road - number 5 or 14. get off at the 3rd stop which is near the ice cream factory/ cafe (superb stuff but not open on mondays) and supermarket. turn left at the corner ahead of the stop and then the next left is Via principle umberto, 77 is accross the road (there is only 83) so very easy to get to. this means the 30 -35min walk is reduced to 8 minutes. follow same route back to the termini for all routes to sights in Rome. As with all major cities in the world rail stations can attract undesirables so watch where you walk especially streets further than the hotel. keep where people and shops are.we would stay here again at the drop of a hat

The service of the owner (Alberto) is superb! He provided us with detailed plan by e-mail from Termini station to the B&B, he provided us with Roma plan and he gave us lots of info. The location of the B&B is ideal: only a couple of minutes away from metro stations. Due to the orientation of the B&B the noise of the street (cars/people) can hardly be heard: very nice! The B&B is located in a normal street, in a 5 floor building in which the original appartment is split in 2 separate B&B's.

Alberto is a most gracious host and has done a wonderful job in creating a beautiful place to stay. He had great recommendations for how to go to and from sites we wanted to see. We wished we had stayed here on our other visits to Rome, and that we could have stayed longer at this location. The neighborhood is a little rough if you are walking from Termini to the B&B, but we didn't have any trouble, and appreciated the proximity to the trains when we needed to leave for the airport....10 minute walk with luggage and kids. One word of advice - be prepared with cash payment upon arrival. Alberto emailed us ahead of time to coordinate our arrival and reminded us of the total including tax, which Venere did not do, which was most helpful.

Very nice B&B. Newly renovated interior. Very clean and spacious room & bathroom. Staff was very helpful. Location was fair, about 2 blocks to nearby subway station. Reasonable walking distance to Termini train station, if you don't have too much luggage. Would definitely recommend to others.

THANK YOU ALBERTO! He is one of the most helpful, kind, and welcoming hosts we have ever met. He even invited us to his daughters bday party in the park ;) He knew all the hotspots and helped us plan our itinerary. He also looked up phone numbers for us and helped us deal with booking museum tickets. Dont get fooled by the outside and interior of the apartment building. Once you get inside his suite, it is absolutely beautiful. He keeps it so clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were fantastic. Simple but delicious. Great coffee! Also, just a block away is Italy's oldest gelato factory! Yum! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I enjoyed my stay here very much. The owner was very accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was not what Americans will expect at a B&B but if you've been to Italy before you'll understand that the toast and coffee breakfast is typical (yoghurt was also provided in the fridge). This B&B has a small kitchen where you can keep (and even cook) your own food, however, so the breakfast isn't such a big issue. The apartment is in a very multicultural part of Rome, and a 5-10 minute walk from the train station. But I did not feel unsafe. I would not take the owner's recommendations for food, however. RED (across the street) is mediocre and expensive. Try, instead, Meid in Nepols, which is on the other side of the Termini. You'll have a much better dinner.

I've been at Termini Gold for the first but hopefully not the last time. Alberto is a very friendly and competent host giving you helpful information about 'his' Rome. Our room was very nice, lately furnished, air-conditioned, accompanied by a separate, private bathroom. Breakfast in self-service, which is unusual but convenient. All things considered I made a note of Termini Gold for my next trip to Rome.

We had a fantastic time in beautiful Roma, partly due to our host Alberto, who gave us great advice about when and how to see sights, and various local restaurants. It was a smallish space, especially the shower, but it was decorated in a lovely fresh contemporary style. Very comfortable bed. Great to have espresso in the morning. Excellent location, closish to railway station and within an interesting 20 min walk to the Colosseum. Alberto was an excellent host, raconteur and teacher of all things Italian.

Our stay at Termini Gold was most pleasant. The location is conveniently close to the train station, and in a reasonably safe and quiet environment, within walking distance of most tourist attractions. The owner is friendly and forthcoming with information, and the facilities are clean and recently renovated. Good quality price ratio. Definitely recommended.

Termini Gold had a great welcoming, the host was very helpful offering lots of information about how to make the most of our stay in rome. Although the surroundings aren't the prettiest they caused us no problems at all, even walking back at night, and the location was ideal for walking to the sights and the train and metro station. The apartment itself was great, very clean rooms and a nice kitchen where although it is shared you can store items in the fridge and help yourself to food provided. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone travelling to rome.

We spent over a week in Italy and enjoyed our stay at Termini Gold the best! Alberto was the first person we met in Italy and he really set the tone for our whole trip. Not only does he run a great bed and breakfast, he gave us pointers on things to see, places to go, places to eat, and the best way to get there. We will definitely stay there again next time we get to Rome! Oh, and he has the best coffee in Italy!!!

The termini area is not the greatest area. We knew that booking when we were booking this. This B&B is located away from the centre of the shady areas. As long as you are a smart traveler, you should be fine. We didn't encounter any problems and we walked back to the B&B each night. Alberto, the owner, is professional and informative. He sent us an email with directions, maps and schedules before our arrival. He spent a lot of time explaining things and making recommendations for sights and neighbourhoods. He was extremely helpful and hospitable. We were surprised to find that the private bathroom that we booked was not connected to our room. It was fine though. I think that the other room may have the bathroom connected to the room. The breakfast is minimal, it is more of Do It Yourself breakfast as the owner doesn't live there. Being in Rome, you can have go out and have a cappucino and pastry at a local cafe instead. The B & B has a private apartment-like feel to it which we liked as you have access to a small kitchen/fridge. One thing to note is that we were in the city during Euro Pride where Lady Gaga played a free concert. The owner received requests for reservations, but he honored ours since we had booked prior to the announcement of Gaga playing, which is admirable. I am sure that the prices of B&Bs increased dramatically.

The owner of this S&B is very co-operative and attentive. I strongly recommend this B&B. I would definitely come back here. Very homely.

Great stay at Termini Gold. Alberto was so lovely to us, showing us where to visit and how to get there. His hospitality really made the stay. Such great value for money and great accomodation. Would definately go back.
