This is very nice accommodation in a great location. Two of the rooms (including ours) share bathroom and toilet but this was never a problem - how could it with only 1 or 2 other people to compete with. The Owner, Claudio, is a very interesting and knowledgeable person who gave us lots of useful information for touring Rome. He welcomed us personally (even though he no longer lives on the premises). The breakfasts were a little late for us (9.00 a.m.) as we are early starters. Nevertheless, we did have several breakfasts there during our 5 day stay and , during these, were able to meet and talk with some of his other very interesting guests. We had an absolutely wonderful time in Rome and in no small measure due to the convenience and comfort of Tasso. Overall, an excellent experience.

Generally, we were very happy with our stay. The location is excellent and the rooms were comfortable. The room facing via Tasso is a bit noisy as it is adjacent to a lighted outdoor soccer stadium. The outside terrace is a huge plus! We had use of the kitchen facilities and mostly made our own breakfast and evening snacks. Owner is friendly and provided us with many useful tips, but not very flexible in terms of arrival times or earlier breakfasts. Overall good value for center of Rome!

Claudio, Is an excellent host and the rooms are very nice. We had a shared bath and it worked out great. He had lots of suggestions and good advice. Claudio is bright and informed and if anything he cares too much about how you tour. He has lots of opinions. All in all rave review

This is a surprising place, in a good way. One thing to note: at least two of the rooms have no bathroom and must share one in the hallway. Since the toilet is also in that bathroom, it may require a little anticipation, but it never was a problem during our stay. It just wasn't made clear at booking time. The B&B manager, Claudio, welcomes you personally and there is no permanent reception, so you must strive to arrive at the time you specified upon booking. The hotel caters mostly to Germans or German-speaking folks. I am not sure how good a deal the hotel proper was for Rome, but we certainly made excellent use of Claudio's advice and non-touristic food addresses, so overall we had an excellent stay.

We stayed in Rome for 6 nights. The interaction with the owner was very good because he speaks 4 languages and knows everything about Rome. He gave us many usefull tips. It's a pitty that we could not lock the room itself by leaving the building. The breakfast starts at nine o-clock. Between 08.00 en 08.30 fits much better to me.

We loved staying at the Tasso. Since we have been to Rome several times, Claudia gave us an itinerary to places seldom seen by tourists. It was fabulous. We had a failure of communication about our arrival time. Other than that, our stay was perfect.

We've had a fanatstic stay in Rome and our stay at B&B Tasso was nice. The owner, Claudio, gave us usefull advice. Our only problem was that Claudio put a little bit too much pressure on following his advices. Next to the restaurant Claudio advices in his "nashkatzentips" we advice you te go to restaurant Rust,Via del Teatro Pace 34-37. Take bus 40 or 64, get out at Chiesa Nuova and you'll find Rust in the streets behind the Chiesa. And visit aftrewards Piazza Navona. Have fun.

Our stay at B&B Tasso was quite nice. The location was within walking distance to 2 metro stops as well as the Colosseum and Forum. Claudio was very welcoming and offered great advice on sights to see and restaurants to try out. Room was clean and comfortable.

Rooms are in excellent condition as mentioned in various comments. We had the room with its own bath, which was really clean an nice. Quitness of the room is "only" good, as you can hear each movement from the public bathroom which is adjoining. But that doesn't really matter. The welcome was quite poor, as our host was a bit grumpy. Maybe the reason for it was his cold or that we rang the bell at night. I didn't feel like clarifying it. This is the only reason why I downgraded the competence of employees. So you should use the phonenumber which is a note written by the doorbell to announce your arrival, even if it was announced by mail before. The breakfast is made up of Toast (all you can eat) still wrapped up, butter also wrapped up, jam, biscuits and a warm drink which you can choose. Maybe we expected to much here from the descriptions. If you like to get "any" advise, you'll get it from Claudio. I think he is a competent tour guide. Allover, (if Claudio is cheerfull) I would recommend it without any doubts. regards Frank

nice rooms, the only promlem was that 3 rooms have to share one bathroom - and the breakfast was fixed at 09.00 - so there was a little trafficjam in the morning.
