Pefect accommodation for a night at the Auditorium Parco Della Musica. The venue is only a five minute walk away. There are decent restaurants near by and the property is about a five minute from the Piazza Euclide railway stop and two buses to Termini.

Suite Oriani offers you a room, bathroom, access to a garden, and breakfast. Other parts of the house are not available to you, but when in Rome you do not spend a lot of time at your B&B anyway. The metro was closed in August and we were never able to master the buses, which meant a lot of walking (10 miles one day) to get around Rome. Be prepared to WALK if you stay here, but it is lovely, the service is superb, and the B&B itself is beautiful and well taken care of. The garden/patio is particularly nice where you may be served breakfast every morning if you like, or you may be served in your room. The closest landmark is a 30+ minute walk south through or around Villa Borghese to the Spanish Steps which are north of the city. Piazza Del Popolo is not too far from the Spanish Steps. A taxi to the Vatican was 12 euros, a taxi ride from the airport was 55 euros plus a tip. A taxi ride to Termini Station (train) is 12-15 euros. Restaurants do not open for dinner until 7 p.m. so don't expect a 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. pizza. Plan your meals for late in the day. There are restaurants around Suite Oriani, but they may be closed for holiday if you are there in August. August is just hit or miss because all of Italy goes on holiday that month.

Bedroom was very nice and spacious. Breakfast in the room (no restaurant as Suite Oriani is more a traditionnal classical house than an hotel) We were delighted by our stay there: Some remarks: - Breakfast is a little poor (croissant have a strange (italian?) taste and there is no bread) - Bathroom was arranged in a strange way so that the shower cabin iw very small (maybe better in another room with bathtub for ex.) - (Sort of)Metro station is 7 minutes away by foot and this station is one statuion away from real Metro.

We loved this wonderful B&B. It was so quiet and beautiful. The room was spacious and welcoming. Allessandro was so helpful and charming. He made our stay in Rome so easy. He made arrangements for us when we needed them and speaks great English. This place is just great and we would come back and visit again! Allesandro's recommendations for dinner were superb! Suite Oriani is a lovely, clean, quiet facility in an upscale part of Rome. Alessandro was very solicitous and a wealth of information. He made sure we knew how to get ahold of him if we had any questions. The bathroom, was quite spacious and the room had a lovely view off the balcony. The breakfast in our room was very sufficient to get us started each morning. Suite Oriani is the epitome of a beautiful, classic B&B in a beautiful, classic city.

Suite Oriani is a high quality guesthouse. Staff were very welcoming and informative. Location for travelling to central Rome is excellent with access to the Metro a short walk away. Stayed here to go the nearby Cavea Auditorium which worked out great as it was a mere walk away also. Some nice places to eat nearby also. Recommended.

We really enjoyed the quiet and secluded location of Suite Oriani - although the hauling of our heavy suitcases from the Metro was quite exhausting in 100 degree weather! Alessandro was very helpful and gracious and his staff continued to execute a high-quality level of service. We were very pleased overall, even with the happy and loud crickets in the trees :)

Although there is a walk involved to nearbye restaurants and connections to buses etc it is well worthwhile it to be in such a pretty and quiet area The staff are all excellent and helpful and friendly and I would not hesitate to recommend it or return. Would have liked to see the lovely Italian rolls for breakfast instead of biscuits but apart from that would not change a thing! We loved being woken up to the sound of birdsong from the gardens.

The location was great - good restaurants nearby and very close to metro! And the B&B was a good choice. The beds were a little uncomfortable, but everything was clean and really nice. And the bedroom and bathroom were both spacious. Overall, the staff was great, although one of the girls could have been friendlier. They weren't easy to get a hold of when we arrived and I wish there had been more of a general area where we could hang out in the evenings. But other than that, it was great.

very nice B&B, very picturesque and very clean. the surroundings are very quite, close to train station Euclide(less than 5mn). service is good and very discreet. One improvment point only to mention : phonic isolation inside the house (if you have bad luck, you can hear other guests in the corridor and in the other room if they talk loud.) Well, we had luck so that it was a very nice stay. we would go there again and recommend the place!

Clean, quiet, near Borghese Park, one train stop to Piazza del Popolo. Friendly helpful personnel. reasonable rates. Some have said that the breakfasts here were small but this was not true for us. Our Continental breakfasts were VERY LARGE - took leftovers with us to nibble on while sightseeing later in the day. Eat at the local restaurants like La Scala, Il Camminetto and Pariolina. Spend a hectic day in the city center and relax in this quiet haven in the evening. Negative comments?: not really. Since I'm tall the shower was a little tight and the sink was at a slightly awkward angle. The couple with us did not have this problem. Will definitely return. 2 elderly couples from Norway

Girls week end in January. Chose Suite Oriani after consulting "Trip Advisor". Superb location in residential area away from the tourist traps of "downtown" Rome which is just one metro stop away. Good quality, fairly priced local resturants. Really informative welcome from Federica. Just missing Tea/coffee making facilities. Take the limo from the Airport for 50 euros each way!

Beautiful and charming place to stay with an excellent location in an upscale neighborhood away from the headache of the city. The hotel is a walking distant from the subway, the bus station, and several good restaurant and coffee shops. My room was spacious and nice. The staff was excellent. The manager, Alessandro, stays in the property. The breakfast was standard Italian breakfast, so don’t expect too much. Free wireless internet is available. if you planning to stay late every night, then you might want look for another place because the subway closes at 11 PM. there is no laundry service on the premises or irons in the rooms. There is however a laundry service about 10 minutes walking form the hotel. Other than that, the place was great and I will defiantly stay there again

We liked the suite orani. It was in a quiet neighborhood and the staff was great. The only thing is that you can sometimes hear people in other rooms. It was a perfect location though and a quick train ride to old city. The staff was very knowledgable and friendly. Very nice B&B. Comfortable, spacious, quiet neighborhood, quite elegantly decorated, modern bathroom (although if you weigh more than 200 pounds you might not fit in the miniscule shower stall), couple of decent restaurants close by. Not a whisper of disapproval when I showed up with a companion of the same sex one-third my age. Check-out time of 10:00 AM is sort of a drag, breakfasts were only so-so and it's a 12 Euro cab ride to the tourist sites of central Rome, but you get a whole lot more for your money by putting up with these inconveniences. I'd happily stay there again.

Suite Oriani was the perfect stay in Rome. It was located in a quiet part of Rome, a residential area, but only 5 minutes from the metro station. We had a beautiful room on the first floor with a gorgeous balcony. Our host met us when we arrived and provided a good map of the local area, restaurants, and showed us how to get around easily. Our breakfast was delightful, and we enjoyed it every morning overlooking our balcony. We could walk in the neighborhood at night in complete safety, and we could go to the area restaurants and feel just like locals! Suite Oriani was perfect in every way--especially the price. We would come back and we have already recommended it to our friends.

My wife and I stayed here for our last night in Italy after a 10 day Honeymoon across Tuscany. This was the least expensive place we stayed at. It was excellent value. The Oriani is in a very nice upscale area in Rome. The Korean embassy is just down the street. The building is immaculate. It's not walking distance to much. You need to take the metro. It is just one stop away from Piazza del Popolo which is a good place to start walking. The best part of our stay was our hostess Eliana (hope I have correct spelling). She was our favorite person of the 5 hotels we stayed in during our time in Italy. Very nice, helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. Excellent value and great service.

The bed & breakfast facilities and staff were wonderful. Very welcoming and helpful. The only setback we had with staying there was getting to-and-from the heart of Rome and Suite Oriani. The metros stop running fairly early in the night so it is a good idea to know which buses you can take to get back or phone numbers for taxis. But, when the metros are running, it is a quick and easy place to get to.

I just returned from my trip in Rome and was so thankful that I stayed here! Alessandro was there to welcome me after such a long trip from the States. I was travelling alone and Alessandro was helpful in giving me train and map information. He told me how to get my bearings in Rome. The suite that I stayed in was BEAUTIFUL! It was large with my own private balcony and had beautiful antique furniture. The bathroom was spotless as was the entire suite. Renata cleans your suite so well that you probably can eat off the floors!!! Unlike most hotels in the touristy areas, one can get a peaceful night's sleep and wake up to birds chiriping and not to mention a delicious breakfast that is served right in your room. Renata, hands down, can make the best cup of cappucinno on this planet! She is also helpful as well and so sweet! To stay here was a treat! The rooms look just like they do in the photos and not to mention the whole place smelled so fresh! Alessandro also arranges a transportation for you if you should need it! I will definitely come back here again!

We LOVED it! Alessandro was fabulous, the house was great, the rooms were large and comfortable, the neighborhood was great, it was an easy walk to a great restaurant, and the metro stop was close. It was a quick train ride to all the major sites. Alessandro gave us great tips for getting around the city to maximize our time in Rome. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I thought that this place was very nice. It was just like the pictures, beautiful ! MY stay was was great, it is only a few blocks walking from bus or metro access. The car service they provide to the airport is worth it, about 50 euros . the train station is much closer so taxi is okay (should be about 12 euros) they will over charge and try for a lot more, so make sure you ask!!! Always check the meter... If I go to Rome again, I would stay there :) Also, "Alessandro" was very helpful and nice !

We had a wonderful stay at Suite Oriani, and would definitely stay here again. It is a little way out of the central area but this is easily reached by public transport (the metro). It is in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and it was lovely having breakfast served in our room every morning. There were also some really wonderful restaurants nearby. The room we stayed in was absolutely beautiful - the nicest of all the places we stayed in Italy. Our room had lots of personal touches, and was very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Because this is not a hotel you don't get some of the benefits of hotels (e.g. no satellite tv, no front desk where you can leave your keys & so on), but this was more than compensated for by the peace and quiet and the comfort and decor of the room. The checkout time was a little earlier than in the hotels we'd stayed in (9.30am rather than 11am) but when you're in Rome you don't generally want to hang around in the hotel for too long, so this didn't concern us too much. We would definitely recommend this as a wonderful place to stay in Rome.

Beautiful, spacious room in a quiet and green area of Rome. Only perplexing thing was how to get back at night. The last train from Flamino Station is around 10:40 at night. If you stay beyond that time, you will have to taxi it back. Our first taxi ride was around 9 euros, the second time it was almost 20 euros! As warned in the guidebooks, taxi drivers often rip of tourist by charging extra fees. After that, we did not feel we could afford to stay beyond the last train and had to adjust our plans accordingly. It was, of course, not the fault of the property and the owner was very nice. However, beware of that inconvenience. This is also a good property for travelers seeking privacy as you are given your own key and beyond the maid who serves you breakfast daily in your room, you are left alone. As the host explained, this is a townhouse and not a traditional hotel where there is a conceriage so plan ahead and you will be fine.

The hotel surroundings were very nice, tranquil, and safe. We love having all the trees and roses in the neighbourhood and we were particularly thrilled by a nespoli tree and an avocado tree in the hotel gardens. Alessandro was a very nice host. Suite Oriani is a very nice place to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had 2 rooms on the first floor. Both the rooms are well decorated like the pictures show. The rooms are clean and provided with large clean bathrooms. The location of the hotel is also good. No noise from motor bikes here, just the sound of birds in the trees surrounding the house. Ideal for siteseeing the hotel is located just one train stop from Flaminio square from where you can walk the center or take the subway to the major tourist attractions (taxi back to the hotel at night for less than 10 euro). Suite Oriani is a great place to stay.

Suite Oriani is a beautiful guest house, situated in a quiet area of Rome. Very accessible due to the local metro system. (City centre 2 - 3 stops, €1 ticket). Mr. Alessandro goes out of his way to ensure you have a personal welcome, at whatever hour you arrive. Continental breakfast very welcome, and served in rooms. Bedrooms are very nicely decorated, and although the bathrooms are small, everything is spotless and cleaned daily. Couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay.

This is a must for anyone who wants to see Rome as a local would see it, albeit a wealthy one. The "hotel" which is a private residence is located in a very wealthy ( all the embassies are located here) area that gives you the idea that you are a local with your own key to come and go as you wish with none of the airs and graces of properties in downtown that you never feel that you are in a very special city. You are 5 minutes away from the subway and even closer to a very good restaurant "Cistena" with an abundance of local people to help your stay go very convivially. I can recommend a local deli from which we bough 100 Euro worth of Roman delicacies most of which flew through cutoms and we are still enjoying the parmigiano 3 weeks later. This place is a must for anyone who loves good quality 5 star accommadation with no one bothering you with room service and 100's of satellite channels on TV. This is for lovers of Rome who like good continental breakfast and service and then left alone for the rest of the day. I stay in hotels around the World and this is the best little "hotel" I have found, Alessandro (the owner)the best. HAVE A GREAT STAY!
