We loved our stay in beautiful Rome. Only thing that spoilt it was being woken up by noisy road drills, but then the location is fantastic and it's easy to get into the centre! Can't have it all!

Sotto La Cupola is a wonderful place to stay "when in Rome"! It is newly renovated and it is also very close to the S.Pietro train station and the Vatican. Emilia, who owns the property, is very sweet and helpful. I highly recommend Sotto La Cupola and I will definitely stay there again when I return to Rome.

Great accomodation, very near to San Pietro and good location for other interesting areas (walking distance if you like walking and Rome is for walking!). Alessia and her husband are really nice people and our stay in their B&B was great. Room is perfect for 2 people, probably a little small for 3 (we were 3 girls) but price is really really great so I would definitely return/recommend it!

We stayed in this beautiful Guest house for three days and we enjoyed our holiday. The location in very good, because it is near San Pietro and the Vatican Museum. In this guest house there's a big kitchen, so you can have dinner at home and prepare it on your own. Alessio and his wife are very kind and competent and they can give you some informations about restaurants and attractions. It's very good for first time visitors; they even give you a mobile phone so you can call them if you have any problems or need help. It was our third time in Rome, but we really love this city and we want to return there asap, staying in this fantastic guest house, of course.

Our stay here in beautiful Roma was made so much better with our choice to stay here. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and the place is simply lovely! It was great to be so close to the train and not 10 minutes away from the Vatican! We only wish we had more time to stay! Also the bed was so comfy which was a definite plus after all the rock hard bed we slept on before our stay here. We highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone wishing to visit Rome. Thanks so much for making our stay so easy!

We were delighted with the accommodation in Sotto La Cupola. The owner is very helpful and supportive, always at your service. Location is fantastic. Rooms are very clean, which is very difficult to find in Italy. For sure, we will come back and we will not look for other accommodation. Sotto La Cupola is simply perfect!

This B&B is located in an apt building. The location is great, near the Vatican. It has 2 bedrooms. Ours was a large bed sitting room with the bathroom next door. We had keys to both rooms. The 2 renters share the kitchen. We were provided with great coffee and terrible, inedible croissants. Also, one night we came home to find a man in the kitchen using his computer . It turned out to be a neighbour that the owner let in to access WiFi.

We had a wonderful stay. The B&B is centrally located very close to the Vatican. Everything is brand new renovated and very clean. Even better than on photographs:-). There are a couple of bus lines going to the center of Rome or you can walk over one of the Tiber bridges through very nice neighbourhoods. There are also a couple of nice restaurants close by if you´re tired of walking at night. Just one hint, when you arrive via train from the airport...choose the train station St. Pietro (a black line on our map)and NOT the Metro station with the same name. The train station is a 3 min. walk from the B&B.

This B & B was fine for us-2 adults and one teenager. The room was small, however, it suited us just fine. There are 3 private rooms that share a kitchen, all with their own little tables to use. There were nice little breakfast rolls out each day, nice touch! This is set in an apartment complex, so there aren't any "views", however, the location is great! For what you get for the price, I would recommend this to a group no larger than 3, and I would encourage anyone to stay here. I only have one negative comment and that's the wireless did not work. However, if we really needed the internet, she offered us a way to access it from her wireless. Plan on using the bus system for tourist areas and there is a stop a 5 minute walk from the B & B. For those that have difficulty with stairs, there is a small elevator (this unit is located on the 4th floor). Have a great stay and enjoy Rome.

We were very happy to have come to this Guest house. The only reason why I have given an 8 (instead of a 10) to services and facilities offered, is because on the one hand there is not a safe available and on the other hand this guest house is not manned all the time so you might have to arrange a time to get there so that the owner is onsite at the time of your arrival. Having said that, the owners are really nice people who are flexible and allowed us to leave our luggage in the room on the last day of our stay as we had an afternoon departure on that day. It is also great to have access to the kitchen anytime to make tea or snacks as well as keeping your own purchases in the fridge. We would be very happy to come back again!

It was clean,in good location, few steps to Saint Peter's Basilica but still in quiet area, easy to get from Fumiciono by train( you need 1 change, but it easy, and then it's just 500m to get to the apartment. You can use kitchen anytime.Owners are extremelly kind and helpfull.I would stay there next time I go to Rome.

I totally agree with the guest from November 2010. I can highly recommend this accomodation. I was surprised about the spacious room and the fully equipped kitchen. It rained for 6 days during my stay and after every rainy day it was like coming home; coffee, tea, milk, something sweet available. A very welcoming feeling. It was certainly worth the money. The only problem was to find the appartment. (my tomtom had no network) It took some time before I found someone who could show me the right way.

We had really nice stay at Sotto La Cupola Guest House. Room was very clean, quiet and offered a very good standard for reasonable price (Guest House has two rooms, both with a bathroom, self-service kitchen is common). Emilia, the owner, who lives next door, is very kind and always helped us with a smile (molte grazie). The location of Guest House is fantastic for Vatican visitor´s (it takes just 5 min to walk to Piazza & Basilica San Pietro) and very good, if you are visiting the city centre (Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, Pantheon etc. If you don´t feel like walking to the city centre, you can also take a bus (no 64) e.g. to Piazza Venezia, which is a good "startpoint" to begin sightseeing and visiting Forum Romanum, Colosseo, Fontana di Trevi, ... We are looking forward to coming again. Z&T, Ostrava !!!, Czech Republic

The B & B is awesome ... The owners do their best to help you with anything you need. The neighbors are nothing less than ... The Vatican. The Basilica of St. Peter is as far as going through a couple of streets. The bus (line # 64) runs every 5 minutes and you can use it for most of the sights. I highly recommend the accommodation at Sotto La Cupola.
