You may be able to find something cheaper in Rome, but not better. Like all bed and breakfasts you have to share bathroom, but if that does not bother you, it is perfect. The location is excellent, just enough outside of the city centre that you avoid the noise, but very close to the Metro. The host is an extremely nice woman and very knowledgeable and gave me excellent help and advice during my stay. Breakfast was plenty, tasty and varied. Warmly recommended

This is a very nice place to stay with an incredibly friendly and helpful host, Simonetta. The B&B is basically an apartment in a normal Roman neighborhood (shops, restaurants, post office, ATM, etc) very close to the metro and to the Vatican, so it is quite convenient for sightseeing yet free from a constant "tourist presence". Simonetta provides great service and help with planning/arranging your visit to Rome and is a genuinely nice person and fun to talk to. The breakfasts were superior to any others we've had in Italy, and the local restaurants were great fun in the evenings - good food too! The only drawback is that you are living in what used to be an apartment in a normal apartment house, so there is a certain amount of unavoidable noise, especially in the morning when the other residents of the house are getting ready for work, taking showers, flushing toilets, etc. Also, there doesn't seem to be a lot of nightlife in the area, other than restaurants, so perhaps not the best choice for university students looking to party. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there, would certainly stay there again if we visit Rome in the future, and would recommend Simonetta's wholeheartedly.

Good location to metro stop Cipro and short walk to restaurants and Vatican City. Quiet area which was nice to come home to. Hot water for showers was somewhat erratic but didn't detract from our overall experience. Simonetta was a wonderful and helpful host with a clean and cheerful place to stay.

A great B&B with a great host. I would recommend it to everybody. Maybe the only downside was the location far from the city center, which was a problem for us when the metro ended at 9 pm due to construction and, this construction will be until april 2012.

We had a great stay at Simonetta's. We wish we could have stayed longer! Simonetta is a great host who provides a ton of helpful information as well as a delicious breakfast. The B&B is very clean, spacious and secure. We liked the location - very close to the Vatican, Metro and in a quieter area of Rome. The B&B had a very comfortable, homely feel.

We were extremely pleased with our stay at Simonetta's B&B. Simonetta greeted us upon arrival and was very hospitable during our stay. She went above and beyond in assisting us with taxi service, laundry service, restaurants, church, etc. The room was spacious and had a newly renovated private bathroom. Breakfast was served with a variety of freshly baked pastries, bread, assorted jellies, juice, coffee, etc. The B&B is located walking distance to the Vatican Museum, restaurants, etc. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

This is the only B&B that we have been in our lives so we are not able to compare. But it was Ok for us: very clean and tidy, nicely decorated, the bathroom was new and smelled well. The only problem was that it is not inside the room, although it was really a private bathroom. Simonetta is very kind, she makes breakfast herself with a good croisant, coffee, juice, yoghurt and fruits. For us it was very good to have the metro station very close, we arrived from Termini easily and quickly. Of course, this is not so close to the main tourist attractions in Rome, but the ones I saw were expensive and not so nice. And it is near the Vatican, that is a place you should visit. If you buy the Roma pass be careful: it runs from the day you start to use it till the third day (if you validated it at 20 hours it doesn`t matter, it counts all the day. You should start using it in the morning to get profit of it) I surelly recommend Simonetta's B&B.

B+B is close to the subway stop in a newer neighborhood that is maybe a 15 minute walk from vatican museum. Clean pleasant place with a friendly owner.

Room/bathroom not cleaned in the four days we stayed there. Breakfast consisted of a criossant/pain au chocolat each, and a banana/peach cut up to share between 6 people. Location is 20 minutes walk from Vatican, and at least 5 stops from central Rome which is reflected in the price

First impression of Simonetta (the owner) was wonderful! She's very sweet and helpful. Had a really nice spread for breakfast and everything was clean and well kept. I felt right at home. I would definitely return! Located in a quiet and older area of Rome it is very safe and about 10 minutes walking distance from the vatican and 2 minutes walking distance from Cipro metro station. I would highly recommed staying here if your looking for a peaceful stay in an area where you can enjoy local Italian culture.
