Bed and Breakfast San Jouan - Rome

Only the breakfast was " poor "

Our stay was partly made by the lady evening receptionist - whose name I did not get- who recommended restaurants close tot he Hotel- we ate in both and loved them! Grazie mille!

It's not that bad, because is located in a quite area. Although you might find a better place with the similar price located in the center. We had a good stay, because we had the 'suite'. If you are planing to stay there, as a couple ask only for the 'suite'. As for the breakfast don't expect a lot, is just coffee and croissants

Poor breakfast. Staff varied in friendlyness. No window in the room, but a small roof-window. Airconditioning not well-working. Quiet area with some charming restaurants in the close proximity. Not very central, but close to the metro. Walking distance to the Colosseum.

Room was good. Around the Hotel, there were not so many people in the evening that I don't recommend walk around alone.

Very good relationship between price and quality. A little bit noisy during the morning because of the location of my room, closed to the welcoming area.

We spend 5 nights in the suite which was bigger than the other rooms so it costed a bit more. We felt very much at home! nice and friendly people, easy going and helping with everything we asked without any problem. Close to a wonderfull small restaurant where we spended several evenings. Good food, fast and friendly services, wonderfull real Italian atmosphere and a good price too. The San Jouan is close to the Colosseum and easy to go to al the interesting sites. All together a very good choice !!!

We loved our stay at San Jouan! It's very close to the Coliseum, Roman Forum, with very good restaurants near by. Nestor gave us excellent dining choices and was very friendly. Our room was lovely! We are looking forward to come back again!

We were there for a short stay - 3 days. The cleanliness of room was not consistent, some day it was very clean, sometime it is not. It is not very quiet either during one evening, as sometimes there were other guests who decided to have party in the public area even till late at night. The service provided was also not very consistent, in the afternoon the receptionist was very helpful, but it was not the same service provided in the morning. The English knowledge among the hotel staff is very limited. You actually would get more quality compare to the price elsewhere which is more near the city of Rome.

Excellent small hotel. Fantastic stay - great staff. In a great location very close to San Giovanni in Laterano and a short walk to Ancient Rome. Beautiful, clean rooms and great 'lobby' with internet access (WiFi also available, free of charge) and self-service coffee. Excellent price for Rome and service provided.

The hotel was fantastic! Very handy to Metro and walk to the Colosseum!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable (We really appreciated the bottle of wine for my boyfriend’s Birthday). The lovely room was very comfortable and clean! We enjoyed our stay there and will definitely recommend about it.

A wonderful weekend in Rome, the place was nice, quiet and the staff excellent and friendly. The room was comfortable, a little bit dark though, with private bathroom. The breakfast could be taken in a neighboring coffee place. The B&B is just next to San Giovanni churche and only 10mn on foot from colosseum. There was also an internet access and free bottles of water which is very useful in August!

Our stay at San Jouan was a great experience, thanks to the quality of the rooms and the place in general but particularly thanks to San Jouan's professional and very friendly staff.
