Bed and Breakfast Rudy - Rome

The accomodation is really nice, clean and spacious. The staff is kind. It is located in a strategic location, within walking distance from the train station.Breakfast, which is consumed at the bar out of "Bed & Breakfast", is not very rich, but enough. Value for money is excellent. It is a good solution for all categories of people.

It was ok, but nothing more. Our check-in was pretty confusing, especially for our 1½ year old son, because we were moved to another B&B, because our room wasn't ready. We had to pay for the stay in cash when we arrived, which ment we had to run around town looking for ATMs. There was free internet, but the signal was very week at the end of the hall where we stayed. For a lillte family with a small child, this was not the best stay. But the staf was nice, the cleaning good and only 8 min from coloseum.

Great place great stuff. We've got one problem because there is no sign or any adv. outside. And as people earlier we also didn't know where the breakfast is :P

We rented a room in rudy but we went to cosmos, the room was very good but very noisy because of the trafic near by, the location was china town in rome, but is 50m from the subway and walking distance from the colosseum(1 km). The people are great, very helpfull.

Hotel is quite near to a lot of restaurants,pizzerias and other eaters to suit your pockets. Tansport: train, bus terminus and metro just 3 blocks away (don't much use Metro, use only when needed) You can walk from hotel to most of the interesting places easily. B'fast, coffee and 2 cornettos in a bar(family run) a short distance from the hotel but good the barista is a nice guy.

The zone of the hotel is perfect, we were moving almost every day walking. Rudy was a cozy(hospitable) and very clean place, but we remain a bit disappointed with the attention of the personnel. The heating was extinguished and towards cold, and the television was not working, we went to receipt in 3 different occasions for three days and there nobody was opening, only a woman appeared the day of before going away to receive(charge) from us the stay. It is not very normal that they do not open the door of the receipt. There is neither kitchen(cuisine) nor cafeteria, but they were giving a few tickets to have breakfast in a nearby bar, the workers of the bar were charming, were they who they were helping us if teniamos doubt. But Rudy's personnel is invisible, if you need something sure that you them do not find.

The B&B is in a very convenient area in terms of transport. The room was clean. only one inconvenient, is that anyone appear in reception after firts day and the comunication wasn't possible for any problem or breakfast ticket.

WE ARE VERY ANNOYED FOR BREAKFAST: WE CAN TAKE ONLY A "CAPPUCCINO AND A BRIOCHES" PER DAY WITHOUT CHANGING THIS BREAKFAST AND ALSO THIS SERVICE WASN'T IN THE HOTEL BUT IN A BAR.INCREDIBLE!!!! THE RECEPTIONIST ASK TO US MONEY AT THE ARRIVAL IN THE HOTEL BUT "VENERE" INFORM US THAT THE PAYMENT IS AT THE END OF THE LOCATION.I'VE NEVER SEEN IT!! THE CLEANLINESS WAS SO AND SO.

My husband and I were traveling with another couple and we were not happy with our stay at all. When we arrived we found that we were being put into a taxi and taken to the real location we were staying which was not rudy, it was a different building with a different name. They were not able to give us the two rooms we had reserved and therefore we ended up in one room with a cot that would not stay closed during the night. We had to walk to a different location to get breakfast and the new location was further from the train station. The street it was on (Cosmos was the name of the new place) was extremely noisy and there was no A/C so we had to sleep with the windows open.

We booked a bed and breakfast with air conditioning. - What we got was a room (suitable but not great) a voucher to go down the road to a cafe where you got a cup of coffee and a croissant and the air conditioning turned on sometimes - usually late at night. I was travelling with my elderly parents and they needed to rest in the afternoon but were unable to do so as the room was too hot. The only time we saw the owners was on arrival and they materialized the night before we were leaving so we could pay the bill. I did explain to the owners before I booked what my needs were. I would have happily paid more for air conditioning some place else. As we did not see anyone we could not rectify any problems. your web site was very good and the location was alright - a block or two from the better establishments. At least I know for next time! Pulizia delle camere e accoglienza+modi di fare della signora ottimi. il palazzo è antico e un po decadente ma il b&b è ristrutturato. Unica pecca la locazione: la via è un po infelice. La colazione non viene servita nel b&b, ma in un bar vicino che non è dei migliori, tutto sommato ci siamo trovati bene

Todo muy bien excepto: quedar con responsable si llegas tarde (llamar al móvil), desayuno justito en bar amable

The internal of the hotel and external outlook is difference. It is excellent from the internal. The staff is very helpful. No doubt, she cannot speak english. However, she has tried her best to contact Rudy and let him translated our requested.

Rudy is a very nice place, frendly hosts excelent bathroom but the mattress in the bed was rather weared out and we could not sleep well in the cavitys.

We booked Rudy and were sent to Cosmos. Room was ok, but very loud - from the street in the morning and the room-neighbours because of the very thin walls. Breakfast was to be taken in one of three cafes nearby (1 capuccino, 2 croissants). You have to like sweet things in the morning because there is no alternative. But if we din't ask for closing times of theses bars we would not know the other bar that has open very early in the morning...

Things were promised but never delivered. TV Airconditioning Credit Card Services Breakfast We did get breakfast but we had to walk down the road to get it. 2 croissant like desserts and a cappucino for breakfst on a small table in a snackbar. Not impressed. The hostess was very nice but that didn't win this hotel back any points.
