Considering the prices in Rome, this was a great value. We had a double bed in a spacious room. The bed and pillows were VERY comfortable. Shared bathroom wasn't too much trouble to work around, but you have to expect some concessions when sharing a bath. Soap and shampoo were provided in bath. Tub shower with standard, Euro-style shower head that can be hand-held or hung. Towels provided. Everything was very clean. Mauro (the owner) greeted us upon arrival and went over some recommendations of things to do and provided a map. Our bed was made and turned down every day. Hair dryer, iron, and hot tea is available in the hallway for all guests to use free of charge. Very close to metro line A, only two stops from Termini station, which makes convenient to switch to line B for sightseeing. We felt very safe staying here due to the fact that you had to have a key to get through several access doors in order to get to hostel floor and rooms. The area won't put you in the middle of everything, but there are a couple of good restaurants and a coffee shop nearby, as well as the metro. For the price, it was definitely an overall value. Mauro is a young man who cares very much about growing his business, and does everything he can to make the spaces comfortable for his guests. There is also a small lift. I highly recommend Rome Bed for a budget stay in Rome.

We arrived later than planned but Mauro was waiting with a smile. He was very helpful and spent a lot of time explaining everything to us and gave us information on Rome. The location was great and the free breakfast at the cafe nearby was a good way to start the day. We never had to wait for the shared bathroom. The only issue was our neighbours talking after midnight but that was the only thing. We would stay here again as it is great value.

Proprietor (Mauro) excellent, with lots of helpful information in English both upon arrival and by (unsolicited) e-mail in advance. Our family group took all three rooms and this worked very well: no strangers in the corridor. 'Typical Italian' breakfast at the bar up the road was a shock for the eldest of our three generations, but fine for the others.

It was the first time I stayed in Rome and it was good. The place is near Termini Station, near Coliseum and near Metro Station. The rooms are clean and big, the only problem is that you have a bathroom for three rooms so is difficult to have a shower in the mornings. The breakfast is in a cafeteria and you have to take a capuccino and a "brioche", the coffee is tastefull. The Romebed personal (Mauro) it was friendly and doesn't have any problem with the language (english, spanish or italian). If you only want to sleep and see the city this is a recommended place.

RomeBed was nice. I went with my mom and we stayed for two nights. The family owns multiple properties and because the main part of RomeBed was full, they upgraded us to a room with a private bath. It was clean and appeared to be relatively new. We were near a metro stop (Manzoni I believe) which is two away from Termini. While the area wasn't necessarily quiet, it did appear safe and we walked through it at night several times. The site says you can pay with a card, but we had to ask several times and they didn't seem all that pleased about it but that was really the only issue. The man was very helpful and gave us a map with ideas. Breakfast was coupons for a croissant and coffee at a nearby cafe, but we never used them, so I can't rate it.

The room was very big, clean and comfortable. the greeting from the manager was very welcoming. the location is fine, right by metro and shortish walk from coliseum. however the room was very bright and quite noisy, meaning an early wake-up each morning.

Due to a small mistake (too many tabs in browser) I chose this hotel instead of another one. This is why I was surprised to find the bathroom on the hallway (shared). Otherwise, by reading again all the information about the hotel I realised that the mistake was mine. The room was pretty clean, the bathroom clean enough. All the consumables (soap, toilet paper, etc) were ready for us. Towels were very clean and fresh, the same the bed sheets. The rooms have minimal accessories (bed, table, chairs, wardrobe and two small noptieres). The hotel is very recommended for short, low-cost holidays, although if you like more privacy I should recommend other apartments with separate bathroom. One more thing: the breakfast may be "Italian traditional" (croissant and coffee / tea), but it is completely zero on calories if you want to refuel your body for a full-day walk through the ancient city.

It was really injoyable and a great pleasure to visit your RomeBed. A very nice landlady and 2 kindly servants at the café where we had served our breakfast. We want to return to the same place. Regards Pia and Keld.

Surprising nice place. It was like an apartment style hostel, which is really nice and makes you feel at home. The room is big and spacious and it's really REALLY quiet...A little too quiet I suppose. Overall, it made our trip to Rome really nice as we know we could go back to a comfortable place to rest.

Bathroom is really filthy and was never cleaned during the three days we stayed there. Rooms quite big, containing a fan, very loud when windows are open. No washbasin in the room. Prices normal for Rome. Quite close to Stazione Termini or Metro. Would not go back there.
