Nice people, spacious room, good connection to the centre. They are working on metroline C in the street, so a bit noisy in the morning.

Right across from the third subway line site construction. Expect it to be noisy all day. Easy access to main tourist sites in Rome through the subway. Coffee break is served in room after 9.00 A.M. what may upset early birds.

A good accomodation for a good price. If you are coming to Fiumicino airport, we found the easiest way to the BB. Take normal train/its half price, than Leonardo/ to Rome, to Tiburtina Station. Beside the station, on the same side, is a bus station. Take bus and go to Via Orvieto. Its cirka 3 or 4 stops from the Train station. You must go there up to Via Orvieto and from the corner La Spezia turn left. only 2 buildigs. It will be on the left side. This trip is 10 minute. With metro and going is 20-30 minute. You can take this bus to the colosseum and the city center also! The best restaurant is at on the right side from the BB on via Orvieto.

Breakfast was nice. Sharing a RR with another family with 2 small children was a challenge. The shower was hillarious. showering for my 6 feet 2 inches tall Boyfriend was a bit of a challenge!

Room was smaller than expected, but was clean. Separate bathroom was nice, but all rooms were full so we had to schedule showering to avoid interfering with others. Although very nice and welcoming, owner spoke only Italian, which made communication a little more difficult. Overall, good price / quality relationship, but will find a different place next time.

The landlords are very welcoming and made the stay pleasant. Finding the apartment was easy , and the owner came to apartment within 5 minutes of calling. Size of rooms is good and the location is convenient. The kitchen is available for use at all times and stocked. Please be adviced that most of the rooms are not en-suite( shared bathroom), though the bathroom is clean and of good size. The booking description does mention whether the rooms being booked are ensuite or not. Since this was my first stay at a bed and breakfast, I was surprised that there is no phone in the rooms. Breakfast is served at 9 AM, which is a bit later than hotels.

This B&B is "unattended". In other words, arrangements (sometime difficult) must be made to meet someone when you arrive, luggage can not be kept there for a few hours following check out, and tourism advice is available only for a limited time each morning when they're busy setting up and cleaning up after breakfast. The rooms were certainly spacious enough and clean, but both rooms we had fronted the street and the street noise (mopeds, honking cars, emergency vehicles) never lets up in Rome! If noise bothers you, be sure to request one of the rooms away from the street.

_____________ lovely place to stay and where you always wanne go back to. nice an quite

Traveling to a country where I do not speak and understand the language, it is wonderful to be made to feel like an old friend or a remotely distant relative. The hosts were wonderful. They gave sound advice, good suggestions, specific directions, and explicit warnings(eg. trip to Station Termini). But none of the hosts live on the premises, so it was difficult somehow to get responses to pressing questions. But I wrote notes and got immediate responses. True, the surrounding area is dirty with streets littered with trash and doggie poo (just like other areas I have seen in Rome), but the B&B itself was clean. I did assume based on the ad that the pick up service from the airport was free, but it was not, although they did help me find a ride to the B&B. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend the Roman Walls B&B, even stay there again if I find myself in Rome again.

B & B is an appartment in a quite nice area of Rome, there are 4 rooms. The accomodation is comfortable and cleaned. Hosts are very nice. Location is quite closed to a metro station (10 minutes walking) and there is a bus stop near the B&B.

This is a very nice place to stay, I would recommend it to a friend. There are two remarks however: 1) It's a long walk from the metro station 2) The road in front of the B&B is very noisy. That caused us at least one sleepless night.

Rooms at street side are very noisy. The two rooms towards the backyard are much better. Couldn't sleep w/o ear plugs. Breackfast at 9am is very good and enough. Fresh bread and coffee. The owner are very friendly. Three nice and good value restaurants are very close to the accommodation. Subway is 8min away by foot. Airport 50min by train and bus.

There was nobody at the property when we arrived and had to phone them to come, which took a while. Our room was tiny as we had asked for a quiet room--barely space to move. Owners friendly but poor English. Only able to have breakfast once during our three night stay as they only serve breakfast at 9am and not earlier. One shared bathroom between three rooms.

At Roman Walls was a lovely bed & breakfast. We had a large room overlooking a big courtyard, which was really nice. The owners are very friendly and make you feel at home. They gave us a lot of food and drink for breakfast every morning - and the food was great. We really enjoyed it there and would definitely go back.

Located about 10 mins (walking) from the S. Giovanni metro station and outside of the Rome Wall, this place is a fairly convenient base from which to visit Rome. The room we had was just big enough to fit in a double bed and a small dressing table come breakfast table! The owners were pleasant enough, recommending a restaurant just down the road called Creme Caramel that served very good food at a reasonable price (don't let the outside turn you off!). The stay was only let down by the difficulty we had in actually being let into the place as the owners do not live at the premises. Make sure you tell them when to meet you and note that the local public phones only take the telephone cards that you can buy from a Tabacchi (newsagents kind of shop) but note that they close between 1 and 4 o'clock. Oh and we were also disappointed as the write up about the place gave us the impression that the place offered free/cheap lifts to and from the airport. This turned out to be a friend of the owner who would charge 42 Euro instead of the 45 Euro we were quoted by another taxi! So we took the metro and bus for 2 Euro!!

At Roman Walls was fantastic. I had accumulated friends travelling with me by the time I arrived there and they were able to help me accomodate them at the last minute. They are extremely friendly and very helpful with helping me get to the airport at 4:45 in the morning (phew!). It is on a main street, so the traffic noise is noticable, but I highly reccomend them if you're staying in Rome. Good shopping and restauarants and Metro in walking distance.

Well, I just can say that my stay in Rome was unforgettable. Mrs. Silvana was very kind with us, we won't forget her as we won't forget his husband. Definetlly recomendable to have a comfortable stay in one of the most precious cities I've ever seen. The only trouble was the distance to reach the city center...always take the bus!. Very good!

Accomodation was very friendly, lovely people. very clean, very accomodatating, and very helpful. the only fault would have to be the actual finding of the hotel, the web site needs to specify that the hotel is in a block of flats, we found it very hard to find as we were looking for a hotel/b&b standing out quite obvious, however we totally walked straight passed it, cause its actually someones flats. overall, we would use this accomodation again.

This property is the residence of a lovely Italian family who rent out a couple of rooms within their apartament to guests. The rooms are fairly basic but very cosy and the breakfast, which is really nice, is brought into the room each morning. I have no complaints about our stay. The family speak some english and were very pleasant. The hotel is a good 20 minutes walk into main town Rome, but a bus stop is directly outside the hotel which takes you directly into the city centre.

Neighborhood in the area was dirty with grafitti and trash around. I was a bit disapointed with that. Overall the place was good to stay in, the family who owned it was very courteous. I would recomend it as an inexpensive alternative to staying in the tourist district.

20 minutes away from the coliseum, close to the subway. Right location to stay in Rome. Hosts are really kind and breakfast, according to French standart, more than sufficient. A 20 minutes du Colisée, à côté du métro. Un très bon endroit pour dormir à Rome. Les hôtes sont charmants et le petit-déjeuner copieux.
