We were 2 couples sharing a suite. A good and quiet place with few other guests. Big space outside with outdoor furniture. Nice garden surroundings. Some noise and dust from a new house being built just in front of our place. Extremely narrow space between toilet and shower. Good kitchen facilities, but no waterboiler. Very nice staff with just a mininimum of English knowledge. Be aware of pickpockets on the bus, entering on the stop called Bravetta and leaving some stops afterwards. Local travellers were very kind to warn us.

The property is closer to the Trastevere rail station than Termini. The H bus gets within a 10 minute walk of the B&B at its end point. Breakfast was simple but well prepared (croisssants, bread, butter, jam, juice, and good coffee. It is a lot closer to the Vatican than the center (Termini area) of Rome (about 45 minutes by the H bus). Very nice people own and operate the B&B. Very little room for cars. Good beds and great bathroom with bidet. Mosquitoes!!! Bring DEET to Italy.

A nice couple with bed and breakfast in a familiar atmosphere. Bus stop near by the house and so easy getting into town. We stayed there last year and this year and we would do it again !

Hotel Roma is the perfect place to stay if, like us, you like to get a feel for the "real" atmosphere of a place rather than just the touristy version. The setting is in a Rome suburb and the hosts and staff extremely helpful in orienting you in getting around using the bus. While it is not as easy to get to attractions as if you were staying downtown, the bus rides are not too long and it is nice to get a sense of how people really live. The rooms are rather small (but the bathroom is huge), but why should you be spending much time in them? Breakfast is served in a lovely dining room and is more than adequate to start you on your day (although it would be lovely to have espresso rather than cafe Americano). The only small downside is that within walking distance there is a limited number of restaurants to have dinner in, but we did find on our last night a lovely little bar/restaurant with an outstanding host that serves pizzas, limited homemade entrees and good conversation!
