The location of the hotel is fantastic, everything is in walking distance but you avoid the tourist hassle of other neighbourhoods. The staff was friendly except for one incident where they initially refused to help us when our key good stuck in their broken door at midnight. Once that was resolved, the staff was quite helpful and friendly. Our room had two windows but no daylight as both were facing an other building's wall. The room (and in particular the hotel) was quite smelly. But since we only stayed for three nights, the location was well worth any other downsides Residenza Navona First may have.

Room basic and clean with comfortable bed. In kichenette tea & coffee available @ all times. Felicia very pleasant, welcoming and helpfull. Near Piazza Navona and Pantheon. Also bank , ATM, taxi rank & bus @ Piazza di San Pantaleo. Very good bakery "Il Fornaio" on via dei Baullari and futher up the same street Campo dei Fiori. Lots of restaurants nearby. One night a bit noisy outside, but to be expected. Stairs very steep, Felicia helped with the cases on arrival. Had a wonderfull stay.

Despite being frequent traveller's to Rome we felt that this B&B was not reflected accurately in the description, a few reports said it was noisy but I can assure you it was like sleeping in the streets, even earplugs didn;t cover the noise. staff were completely uninterested in this. you could not call the breakfast breakfast as water for tea was cold and not changed, cakes were stale and nothing was delivered fresh, only one type of coffee was an option. we ended up eating out for breakfast even though we had paid for it. No iron in the room or no sign of where you could get one, reception was unattended for the duration of our stay despite it saying it was fully manned. You had to open the shower to sit on the toilet!!! perfect location but so disappointing on the other fronts. wouldn't recommend this one unfortunately, we've stayed in so many others that are far superior. Nadia was just interested in taking your money on check in.

The room was fine, the location great. The only negative point is the breakfast which you have to prepare yourself and take in your room and the lack of choice ...

First off, this is a fabulous location no doubt about it. We walked the entire city and all of the sites with out ever taking a bus or cab. Charming charming charming..the hotel itself is quite hard to locate and the cabbie had no idea..it is literally a residence with a small sign you have to really search for. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of small steep winding marble stairs which has no lift so hawling up two large suitcases was awful..the ammenities are simple and the staff speaks no english accept for one person on day shift..small bathroom and I mean small but the room is decorated tastefully and the view of the streets is so lovely you forget about the cramp room..the breakfast is nothing but continental and self serve but who cares..there is a bakery right outside and tons of cafes to indulge in. The restuarant accross the cobble stone street was by far the best dinner and the pizzaria right below was to die for...we would stay here again just for the location...

The location is absolutly fantastic. Can't be better. If you would like to live in the center of Rome this place can't be beaten. Very close to Campo di Fiori and Piazza Navona. The B&B are fine but relative simple. Bathrooms facilities seems more fancy on photos than in reality. But the room was clean. Not a great place for elderly people or parents with small children due to many steps. A small breakfast is served at a cafe nearby. Recommended for people who appriciate living in the absolute center of Rome.

Although well-located, the room we received was very small and very noisy. It was a little room just off the reception area of the B&B (which is tiny) with no real closet or dressers to put our clothes. Our window faced the internal ventilation area of the building, so no sunlight. It was also up two flights of narrow stairs, so you have to be prepared to carry up your own bags because there is no porter. The reception area is only open during the day so if you arrive in the evening or early morning it's tricky as you need to tell them in advance to be there for your arrival. The breakfast is not provided by the establishment; instead they give you tickets which you can use at the caffe three blocks away. In terms of location, it is right near Campo dei Fiori, which becomes a very busy night spot for young crowds. This means that it is safe to walk around the area at night because it's always busy with people, but if drunken 20-somethings is not your thing, then you will not appreciate it at all! If you are a student looking for an inexpensive, central place to stay, it's fine. But if you want a romantic or well-appointed place to stay, then it is not for you.

It was a wonderful place, but you should have told us, that the rooms are on the sixth floor without a lift - not very convenient for old people with hearttrouble!!

The room is very comfortable and ideally located for visiting the city, easy walking distance from the piazza Navona, and bus stops down the street. Typical breakfast at gerri's, lovely café round the corner. The tiny street is quiet and carless, even if the corso is close, and we were happy to see that the bar downstairs didn't open while we were there.

Very good location in the centre of Rome near Campo de Fiori. We arrived late (and had notified this in advance). Nobody was there to welcome us and we had to wait 30 mins after telephoning for help.
