Bed and Breakfast Relax - Rome

Excelent. Very nice place, cheap and near to the famous places.

Clean, close to train station. Able to walk to Vatican and Colesseum. Proprietors spoke English which helped out very much. Nice room. Book a private room with a bath. The room is much larger and no sharing of facilities. DO NOT fly with Ryan Air. They have low fares but hit you with extras, have no assigned seats so boarding is a cattle call and the seats are very, very uncomfortable vinyl with hard foam that do not recline. It is not cheaper

The staff welcomend me in a great way. They are two very friendly and helpful people. As a single traveller it was nice, and also you do get to relax in this place. Which is nice after walking several miles during a day... The room were great, I had the one with a seperate bathroom. It was quiet. And the best part is the terrase. It's easy to find, and it's very close to the main train station. I'd definetly recomend this place to others. Btw, there's a great local restaurant around the corner, go left and left... and you'll find a small piece of Napoli.

Having been to Rome several times now and having stayed in places ranging from luxury to a basement room with cobwebs, I can say that Relax is great. Cristina and her father Andrea were very nice and accommodating. I liked having my own keys and feeling independent as to coming and going. I never ate breakfast here so I cannot review this area. A supermarket is around the corner as are many good restaurants (plus the very popular CONAD supermarket at Termini - lower level MARSALA side). The first nite I stayed in a room without bathroom; this faced the street, Via Goito so it was noiser. All you need to have are good earplugs then you will be fine; if this bothers you. Remaining nites I stayed in the room with the private bathroom and exit onto the patio. Very nice but it was too hot to sit outside during the day when I was in Rome! Sure the bathroom shower filled up with water but then again the plumbing in Italy I have always found to be substandard. This is normal; if this is not your own country then embrace the differences bad and good. There is a fridge in the small common area in which you can put your food and beverage purchases. Always good to save money even while traveling. Overall, good value for the money. The beds are very comfortable and Cristina happily sings while she cleans so you KNOW the place is clean! I like the 'bohemian' feel to the place, with the jewel colored chiffon curtains. Nice touch. This area IS close to Termini but if you don't want to walk you can take bus no. 86; also no. 492 runs by here enroute to other areas. This is a very convenient area of the city in which to be. Breakfast could have had more hearty food. coffee was good though. staff was very friendly and perfect english. great facilities: very clean bathroom with washer/dryer; balcony for eating was very nice, elevator in building.

Cristina was warm, kind, helpful and especially sympathic. She always try to make you feel like at home. The B&B is near of Termini Station (5 min. by walk), so very well located to visit most of monuments of Rome's historic centre. Except for Vatican, we always came back by walk. Otherwise, you have the two subway lines and a lot of bus lines at Termini. The street where the B&B is located is a little bit loud, but should not deter us coming back. Room is not fantastic but clean, comfortable & spacious. Recommended for less than 1 week trip.

Friendly and helpful staff. A bit far from Termini Station on foot. The show is dirty.

Good place for money. Easy reachable from station. good for students and several friends

Breakfast was very poor -good coffee & a cake pulled out of a cupboard & opened. No fresh bread, fruit or juice.

Relax B&B didn't have a room for us on the day we arrived, but they arranged a new place for us, which turned out better than what we expected. Relax B&B arranged everything and they were no change on price or anything except nicer place and wonderful people in HOTEL LELLA. Where we ended up staying for 2 nights in Rome. Sorry i can't say much about Relax B&B since we didn't really stay there. But the person who assisted us in Relax was really nice, professional, and helpful.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt sehr gut gefallen, das Zimmer war super sauber, geräumig und die Klimaanlage hat auch funktioniert. Alle waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstück war typisch italienisch (man sollte also nicht zu viel erwarten). Vom B&B aus konnte man alles gut zu Fuß erreichen und wir können das Relax nur weiterempfehlen.

I was only there for one night to catch an early train at Termini so it was fine. The room had two twin beds and opened onto the terrace but had to be closed at night for privacy. Cheap and clean. Nice staff. I'd stay there again.

La chambre est o.k. mais pas plus. L'avantage c'est que Relax est situé tout près de la gare central, donc du métro et des autobus touristiques. Le déjeuner est moyen. La chambre de bain est de l'autre côté de la réception et de la salle à manger que l'on doit traverser à chaque fois.

The worst part was, when we arrived from a 20+ hour international flight, desperately needing a shower, I discovered, halfway through there is only 3 minutes worth hot water!! This left me soapy with no hot tap water either, and needed to use the stove to heat water to rinse...it takes 15 minutes to reheat! breakfast was the worst we had in italy, the shower was dirty, there are other people in the apartment but no staff, resulting in loud noise levels late at night, and the "kitchen" consisted of a 2 hotplates, and 1 saucepan, plus a small assortment of cutlery and crockery...not really able to use this more than to heat water for tea...

The room was very small, but very clean. Price was good, location is excellent. Close to train and bus terminals, most major landmarks are easily accesible by foot. I recommend Relax to others without hesitation!

There was hardly any hot water & very little pressure ; the bathroom was old, especially the shower & very small. Breakfast was a couple of packages "brioches" , we chose to have breakfast somewhere else

The place location is great, you can walk to every place or take the bus or metro, is great. The people there is nice only that the bathroom needs to be cleaned more often, otherwise they are really kind

That is a really nice place, the staff is really friendly and helpful, we really had a great time!

Breakfast is really poor. There are many cafes and restaurants nearby, as well as shops, pharmacy, internet cafe.
