Bed and Breakfast Relais Teatro Argentina - Rome

Huge, spacious room. Comfy bed. The shower was HEAVENLY. (We took pics and are going to re-do our own bathrooms using this as a model!!) Breakfast brought to you each morning at the time requested. conveniently located. All of this adds up to a great place to stay in Rome. But the best part of it all is the genuine welcome and friendliness of this family-run place. Carlotta and Paolo know Rome well. Whether you are looking for particular sights to see, or need a recommendation for a little place to get dinner where locals eat: they have the info, and are incredibly happy to share it with you.

This is a very nice B&B well located in the center of the city near Campo dei Fiori and Piazza Navona. Also just outside the front door is the taxi stand, the bus stop and the tram. I liked our stay but the noise outside late at night was a bit much. You have to walk up 3 flights of stairs since there is no elevator to the flat (the B&B is on one level in what used to be an apartment). Also, the breakfast was lacking - weak coffee (in cups, not a small pot which you usually get), two cornetti and some bread, yogurt, and two small boxes of cereal and some juice, but no fruit.

This place is beyond compare. It is fresh, gorgeous, luxurious, full of antiques, but modern at the same time. It is a B&B though and there is not always someone there to help with arrangements. That being said. Check in and check out were a breeze. Breakfast was lovely. I felt like a queen with the beautiful dishes and service. It is well located to get to everything you want to see. I felt secure there. I would recommend it highly to anyone. But remember there is no lift.
