We were very pleased with our stay at Perseo. Our room faced into the courtyard and was extremely quiet and peaceful - a great place to retreat after the hustle and bustle of Roman streets. The room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed. Geordiano, our host, was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Breakfast and coffee were nicely presented and more than sufficient. The location was excellent. We hopped on the Metro (within 100 m) which took us close to many sights we planned to see and it's within walking distance of the vatican. On our last evening we stopped at a nearby restaurant, Le Jolly, where we dined on truly local cusine. The appetizer buffet, which had loads of fish dishes, was a great way to sample a wide variety of fare. I would stay at Perseo again and highly recommend it.

To begin with, I was a little sceptical about this place. I thought the room would be too small or badly furnished. Well, I was wrong. The room was big enough, there was enough space for us and our clothing and other stuff, it was really VERY clean and it was cleaned every day. It was a bit noisy because it's close to a big street. For someone this might be a problem, but not for us since we live in the same noise environment at home. The only thing I didn't like was the bathroom. It was a little small, but not too small. It was OK for a week, and I suppose almost no-one will stay in Rome for more than that. The Cipro Metro station was two minutes away and there's also a bus 492 that goes to the centre and Termini. The lady called Renata was really very nice and helpful. Such attitude you don't find in a big hotel. I am really pleased with her. To those who haven't understood: this is not a hotel. This is a big apartment on the fifth floor with four rooms turned into bedrooms. There is no reception. For us it's perfect, but you need to know this. The breakfast was served between 8 and 10 a.m. and was an Italian breakfast- sweet croissants, coffe or tea, juice. It's not my typical breakfast, but this is how they do it in Italy. Overall, I was very happy with the place. I would go there again and I would recommend it to my friends.

Renata is a great person. She speaks English, and is willing to help you with directions of wherever you may be going. She even had hot tea on the table when we arrived in at night. She provided different pastries daily. Out of all our bed and breakfasts and hotels, Perseo was our favorite. Renata is who made the stay great! Greg and Donna Previto

Enjoyed five full days in Rome at B&B Perseo. Very clean and quiet B&B. Well located within one block of the Metro on a commercial street with bus routes to many locations in Rome. Within walking distance to Vatican and its museum. At leats 3 very nice restaurants within one block from the B&B.

Most pity thing is my friend want to visit us in Roma, we gave the cellphone (B&B provided) to our friend, he called 3 times, but host never deliver us any information. We missed the good chance to meet our friend, feel so upset. Showroom is really tiny and uncomfortable to show. Room rate should include city Tax since this is home style B&B, actually it is just sharing apartment, only 3 or 4 rooms for this B&B, but they still charged us city tax per person per night.

The B&B was fantastic - rooms spotlessly clean everyday, delicious and filling breakfasts; not to mention of course the lovely, warm and gracious reception from lovely hostess Renata, who couldn't have done more to help us and make us feel so very much at home. Would (and have) recommend this place to anybody planning to stay in Roma for any period of time, as not only did we get directions from Renata about how to get around and reach our desired locations, it is very handily situated near the Metro and bus connections to go anywhere in Rome, and walking distance from the vactican. The B&B is also exceptionally secure and we felt very safe and comfortable there.

My husband and I stayed in Perseo B&B for three nights and we had a very comfortable stay. Renata was a great host and the morning breakfast prepared by her was excellent. The location of the hotel is very near a metro and you can walk to the Vatican City. The neighbourhood is pleasant and safe and good if you want to avoid staying the in the city centre.

This was our first stay of a 14 day stay throughout Italy. I am 28 and i took my 60yr old mother, Perseo was a perfect fit for us. Renata was the most helpful, kind, informative, patient host i have ever met. She was extremely clear on all directions and many of her suggestions were well worth the walk or extra subway ticket. Maybe a 10 minute walk to the Vatican, damn near across the street from Cirpo subway stop. The Falcone restaurant is right around the corner with fabulous pizza and wine (4 euro for half liter and 8 euro for liter). I would much rather stay here than in downtown Rome where the prices are much higher for much less. This place is truly worth the privacy and away from all the "ROME" life. The only thing is its on a busy street, but it never bothered us, but i could see it may bother some. Great place to stay if from the USA!!

Renata was absolutely amazing! We had a little trouble finding the place (there's not a big sign, but the name is on the door buzzer), but when we got there Renata welcomed us warmly. We left our luggage with her, and she gave us a great map and plenty of information about the area. The room was the best we stayed in in Italy: very clean, a good size, and quiet. We stayed 5 nights with her, and were given a great breakfast with the best cappuccino (ever!), enough good cannot be said. Great quiet B&B, great proprietor, great price. Hop on the metro right outside of the hotel and get anywhere quickly. Stay at the Perseo with Renata, and you won't be disappointed.

Easy to find location. Rang the bell and Renata meet us at the lobby. She let us check in at noon and the room was the cleanest room in all of Europe. Very comfortable bed, room and bathroom. Great elevator, we had a safe, flat screen tv and wi-fi. Renata suggested the restaurant Falcone only 40 steps from Perseo. Best food and wine in Rome. 10 page menu in English with Pizza at 5 Euro and a liter of wine for only 8 Euro. We ate there most nights and even had 20 friends over for a great party. We were only 5 minutes walk to the Vatican Museum, 15 minutes to St. Peters, and a short walk even to Novano Piazza. We managed to walk to the Colosseum but rode the Metro back to the Cipro station across the street from the Perseo. Renata prepares a great breakfast for you when you are ready in the morning. The best coffee, cappuccino, toast, pastries and yogurt breakfast in Rome. Everyday she helped with directions, suggestions, and always had our room prepared to perfection when we returned. She even let me use her printer to print my boarding passes on the last day. This was our best experience in Italy, no in all of Europe and it was because of Renata and the Perseo. We will return and soon. Thank you again Renata.

Our stay at Perseo was very short - we only had 2 nights and 1 day in Rome. Therefore, we did find the location a bit of a problem. It is very close to the Metro, but I didnt know the Metro doesnt really go into the centre! The walk was quite long (about an hour to Piazza Navona!) and we got lost on the walk back because the B&B was off the map we were given! However, the owner, Renata, was sweet and very helpful. She was welcoming and she spoke good English. The room was nice, clean and spacious (for the price) with a good shower. It was quiet, but if people were talking in the entrance it echoed really loudly! All in all, I'd recommend it for longer stays, but for a short stay like ours I'd have rather been closer to the centre.

What a terrific introduction to Rome! The Perseo B&B was better than advertised, and Renate is a gem. We (my wife and I and her sister) were treated very well, and shuttle service plans were cheerfully adjusted several times for us as we experienced flight delays that eventually kept us in Frankfurt overnight unexpectedly before arriving. The value received for the price was better than anything else we found in Italy. And Renate made me the best cappucino I had anywhere in Rome. Location is excellent, just a few minutes easy walk to the Vatican and a block from the metro. We would absolutely stay at Perseo the next time we visit Rome. Grazie, Renate.

Perseo B&B Roma was a truly spectacular find. Renata was an amazing host who cared very deeply about her guest's comfort and satisfaction. The breakfast she offerred was perfect for me. The rooms were immaculately maintained. The location was safe and in the heart of a non-touristy neighbourhood. Because my room faced Cipro, a main street, you could hear some of the traffic noise but was definitely NOT loud. My hearing is very sensitive to traffic noise so this may not be an issue for others. The location was great for me because I felt like I was staying with the people of Rome. The metro is about a block from the door. There are lots of great eating and gelato places around. The Vatican is about a 10 to 20 minute walk away either through the quiet side streets or through Via Candia with its array of shops. Overall, it was such an excellent stay that I made sure I came back to Perseo for one night while in transit to fly out of Rome.

Our hostess, Renata, was very welcoming and helpful. She has dedicated herself to making this B&B a very comfortable place to stay, and it truly was. Located very close to metro line A Cipro station and bus terminal,it takes about 10-15 min to go to the main attractions of Rome. The breakfast was fabulous, with Cappuccino, tea, juice, yogurt, and sweet pastries, and best of all it was served in our room. Although there was some problems with the toilet at first,Renata solved the problem efficiently and prepared a surprising and sweet compensation when we came back. It was the most delightful B&B we stayed during our trip.

This is our first stay in Rome, and we found Perseo as the best place to stay for our needs: good quality of room, very clean, nice furniture, excellent services by our host Renata, who was very helpful with information, and spoiled us every morning with breakfast. The Perseu bed & breakfast is in fact un apartment including four rooms, located in a nice apartment building, across the Cipro metro station. From this building, there is a 10 minutes walk to the Musei Vaticani entrance, and 20 minutes walk to Basilica San Pietro. We took a shuttle from the airport (from Information booth) to Perseu, and paid 30 Euro (two persons and baggage). Taxi is about 45 Eu. Around Perseu, the neighborhood is nice and safe, with a lot of local restaurants, and friendly locals. We asked for a room not facing the street, to avoid the noise from traffic. Our room faced the interior building yard, which is very quiet until morning, when local shops start their activity. The door of our room was not sound proof, and we could hear other people using the common entrance in the apartment. The use of ear plugs make it quiet. The room is very nice furnished, very clean, with a very nice bathroom. Our hostess, Renata, keeps everything spotless, is very friendly and helpful, and provided a very good breakfast during all our stay. We will recommend Perseo B&B to all our friends, and we'll choose it if we'll go to Rome again.

As we arrived my husband realised that his wallet had been pickpocketed on the metro. The member of staff was really fantastic and helped me phone England to cancel cards quickly. In my panic I was struggling to do it. She then advised as to the whereabouts of the nearest police station. She could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was served in our room beautifully and was delicious. Would recommend the b and b for visiting Rome. It is near a metro station and also the bus directly from the train station and is within walking distance of the Vatican. Would love to go again!

We traveled with our 84-year old father to show him some important sights in Italy. For Rome we chose Perseo B&B mainly because of its location close to the Vatican and close to a Metro station. We had a lovely stay for our marathon through Rome! Renata is a most gracious and accommodating hostess. She takes pride in her property, keeps it spotless, and served a delicious Italian breakfast in our room. Our suggestion to Venere would be to give better driving directions to their properties. I guess most travelers nowadays have a navi system, but we did not. Therefore we arrived much later than we and our host had anticipated, But Renata waited up for us, even though she doesn't live at the property. She greeted us warmly and with a bright smile. We felt like we had a key to our own apartment, with an elevator, a clean modern bathroom, and comfortable beds. The constant traffic on the busy street below was part of the charm and did not bother us. We were too tired to be bothered by it and slept soundly. We recommend Perseo B&B highly and would love to visit there again to spend more time in the Eternal City!

Nice, quiet, cozy place close to Vatican. A little hard to find since it looks more like an apartment building. Hospitality was excellent. We had to leave early the last day and Renata brought breakfast at 10:00 pm the night before. Coffee in a thermos that was still warm the next morning. The view wasn't anything to remember, but we weren't there much either. The best pizza in Italy was around the corner at Falcone. At least the best we found in Venice, Florence, and Rome.

Renata was extremely helpful and very nice. She made our stay wonderful. This area is not in central Rome but for the price and the great breakfastit is worth taking the metro just one or two stops to the Vatican and Spanish Steps. I would recommend this B&B to young travelers looking to spend less and have a clean and quiet room.

Because of transportation problems, we arrived later than we had arranged, but our host was more than gracious when we arrived and was waiting for us. She spoke English well and assisted us in a number of ways during our stay. We would be happy to recommend this facility to a friend.

Just located in the opposite of Metro stop exit, there is a supermarket nearby in the alley. Quiet, clean and convenient. The hostness - Renata is very kind and helpful, she manages B&B well and let our stay like in home. It is my best stay in this Italy trip, highly recommend here for Rome's stay !!

I highly recommend Perseo B&B. My wife and I visited Rome for 4 days and the location and service really complimented to the overall holiday. Everything was as advertised with no surprises. The lady who runs the place is really kind, fluent in English and very helpfull. Breakfast was great. Although not in the city centre, the B&B is only a 2 minute walk from the Cipro metro station which will then only take about 5 minutes to reach the major attractions by subway. I would definitely stay again and I will be recommending freinds and family to stay at Perseo.

My family and I ejoy our stay in Perseo B&B. Renata is a kind and good owner and we liked the breakfast served directly in our room, is excellent! The room was clean and spacious enough, less the bathroom which is little, buts in the room and that's good. Very near to metro (underground) and simply to find. It's alright!

Renata was wonderful! We have stayed in a few B&B's across Italy, and I think this is one of the best. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and a great breakfast brought into your room each morning upon your request. Only a few minutes walk from the metro, and about a ten minute walk from the Vatican museum. We will definitely return here the next time we visit Rome. Highly recommended!

B&B Perseo is well located St Peters and Vatican Museum (15 min walk) also to transport network to get to Romes major sites. Metro is only 2 min walk and bus 492 is a pleasant 25 min journey to the centre. Our host, Renata was very friendly and welcoming and provided some useful information to us on how to get around Rome. Breakfast, although all sweet, was more than sufficient, was able to change room to one with balcony without any difficulty. Location was a bit noisy due to traffic but was otherwise safe. Would be very happy to recommend B&B Perseo to friends & family.
