We were 3 persons on holliday, me and my sister, both 40, and our mother. The owner of the BB,Mauritzio, was very nice and helpful to us in every respect. The location in Trastevere is very nice, outside the hectic city-center,but you get there very quickly by public transport or by walking. We had a great time and would love to come back if we go to Rome again.

I was more than comfortable with Orti di Trastervere. The room was spacious and well appointed with antique furniture. The appartement has 3 rooms in an old building with elivator. It is very central located, so that railway station and city centre is to be reached easily.

Ha sido, en conjunto, una estancia satisfactoria, quizas el precio es algo alto para el formato, ya que no es un hotel.

This was a great place and particularly for the price. It was a bit away from the main attractions, but all in walking distance and there was a delicious pizzaria very close by that was really reasonable as well. Would definitely go back there.

Highly recommend. Edoardo was very helpful. All 3 of his restaurant suggestions were excellent. I lived in Rome for 5 years & Trastevere is the best part of city. Easy access to center of city from the B&B. We had the room with private bathroom.

We stayed in Orti de Tratevere for 3 nights in June 2007. Eduardo and Maurizio were more than welcoming when we arrived, providing us with full directions around the property and then sitting down with us to show us where to eat, where to drink, where the clubs were, the best places to get the public transport. They gave us a tourist map with some restaurants marked out on it (we tried some and their recommendations were very good). They also provided their mobile phone numbers so that we could call them at any time (within reason) if we needed anything. The room was lovely, bright and spacious with nice furnishings. It looked out onto the street and therefore was a little noisy but not enough to keep us awake at night (and I am a light sleeper). It was also a bit noisy in the morning as our room was right beside the dining room. The only problem we had with the room was that although it did have a private bathroom, as advertised, this was not an ensuite bathroom so keep a robe near the door for dashing across the hallway and be prepared to hold a while in the morning until the other guests move out of the dining room or I suppose you could get fully dressed to go to the bathroom. Breakfast was the usual coffe and cornettos and toast - and the coffee was very good. The room was cleaned and made up to a very high standard every day. All in all we really enjoyed our stay here and Eduardo and Maurizio did everything to make us feel wlecome in their home without being at all intrusive. Grazie

This is an excellent b&b. We enjoyed staying here more than we did in other hotels which were several times the price.

My husband and I only had a couple of days in Rome so we didn't get a chance to truly explore the area around the B&B, but we were happy with it and they were very helpful in telling us how to get places. We do find they are still a little new when it comes to actually being conceirges, but very helpful and try their best. Loved that they had an elevator!

This bed and breakfast is excellent value and you are staying in someone's (Eduardo's) home rather than in an faceless hotel. It is easily reached from Trastevere train station on foot or on the tram. The tram is very handy for the short journey into the city but all the major sites can be reached on foot as well. Eduardo and his brother Marizio are extremely helpful and friendly and will give you a great map and lots of useful local information.

Location is in walking distance of all the important touristic spots and near tram- and busstop (H line of the bus brings you to Termini). Rooms are on the 4th floor in an appartmentbuilding. Extra was the use of internet, very helpfull.

We stayed four days with Edoardo and his brother Maurizio and would happily return. Fantastic Trastevere location and the number 8 tram lets you get to the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, or Campo dei Fiori in 15 minutes or less. The service could not be friendlier or more helpful. For a great, inexpensive meal try "the morgue" just a short walk down Viale di Trastevere (ask Edoardo). Don't miss the batter-dipped fried cod and the artichokes alla Giudea, not to mention the excellent pizza.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay. Eduardo was very accommodating, and enjoyable to talk with each morning at breakfast. What a nice guy! We took the train from the airport to Trastevere station, and could've walked to the B&B. However, we took a very short cab ride. The tram stops just outside their building. Within minutes you are across the bridge, viewing the Pantheon. Too bad we couldn't stay longer. We'll definitely stay there again.
