The Bed & Breakfast L’ Ombelico del Mondo is located in a building dating from the early'900 in the historic district of San Lorenzo, comparable to the Latin Quarter of Paris for bars and art galleries.
Easy to reach from the Central Station Roma Termini, is close to the Colosseum, the Basilica of St. John and all the major historical monuments of Rome, all easily accessible by bus and subway (also present line bus at night).
The apartment, bright and quiet, is composed of 5 double rooms all with internal lounge for breakfast and a private bathroom.
We have taken care of the furnishings in every detail mixing Italian design and craftsmanship of Indian origin, favouring the use of natural materials (wood and silk)
Lovers of painting and photography, we furnishing the B&B with our original works, which, as in a art galery, change over time.
Moreover, in our particular B&B you can enjoy tea and herbal teas from around the world, as well as tasty coffee.
All rooms provide a very large size with high ceilings over 4 meters, typical of buildings of historical interest.
We have furnished differently every room, trying to meet with our style taste of every possible visitor.

We were 5 days in Rome at Ombelico del Mondo. In the final days we met the staff, and they were very kind. We like very much the comfort the rooms, and the breakfasts as well. The building outside don´t look pretty, but in the inside, the B&B is very comfortable, the decoration is quite warm, and the rooms big enough.

Zona ben collegata con ogni punto della città. A prima vista il palazzo in cui si trova il bed&breakfast non sembra quel gran che, ma l ' hotel è molto carino e confortevole, ben arredato ( il letto è comodissimo!). L'accoglienza è stata ottima, peccato che poi non ho più visto nessuno per tutto il tempo in cui sono stata lì... anche se il personale è disponibilissimo per tutto, basta contattare per telefono. Non ci sono orari di chiusura del'albergo quindi si può andare e venire come e quando si vuole ( ti danno le chiavi di tutto! ) e questa è una cosa ottima! Molto tranquillo e pulito, con tv e connessione internet. E' un ottim posto dove pernottare, ma non più di qualche giorno. Voto finale: 7

Room Details

All rooms are different in materials, lines, and in colours. We've furnished the B&b mixin different design's styles (Indian, Thay and Italy). All rooms have its private bathroom (int. and ext.), chairs and table to have the buffet breakfast inside and are large and confortable suite (25/30 s.m.).
All inside is handmade, furnishig in bamboo and wood, the curtains and the bedcover in silk. There are chairs and a table to have the breakfast inside. Candles and essential oils are available in the room.
It is a warm and bright space to live your holiday.
The rooms furnished with italian design elements, in a neobaroque style, rich and simple at the same time.
L'Ombelicodelmondo is a B&B, where, all the furnishes, and photos handmade by artists or designers that expose their works to furnish and decore our rooms, that you like can be selled directly inside the B&B or sended to your home.
