I stayed for 5 days. The hotel is in a great location, near Termini station and subway. It has also stores and restaurants close. The hotel is nice, staff is very friendly, however the cleaniness of the room could be better. After some days, our bathroom was dirty...

My husband and I were on our honeymoon! Our first stop was Rome and we were extremely pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel, the friendly English-speaking staff, and the close proximity to most of the sites. We walked everywhere, except to St. Peter's Basilica but that was just a short subway ride away. The hotel is within walking distance from Termini Train Station, as well- which was a big help, as Taxis in Italy can be expensive. Another advantage was, they had a computer available for free internet use. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others who just need a nice, clean place (nothing too fancy) to lie their heads while in Rome.

The hotel ist well situated in the center of Rome in a beautiful old house. The welcoming was very warm and the receptionist was very kind and gave us a lot of informations about the town, public transport, food and many other things. The room was a little small but nice and clean. The breakfast was typical italian with croissants, müsli, yoghurt, cake and a small choice of cheese and sausage. Regrettably the coffee was not so good. We enjoyed our stay very much and we would stay again!

Notti a Roma is in an ideal situation but the room we were given was not suited to a family with tall teenage boys.It was a double maybe a triple room that had a fourth bed squeezed into a corner. The bathroom was very small with no ventilation and was very mouldy and smelly. The linen is only changed every 3 to 4 days and there is no where to air towels except on the end of your bed. A hotel could possibly have suited our family better. Our room was right beside reception and it was noisy. Breakfast room very small and limited chioces of food offered. Our family would not stay there again.

Great location in Rome (near metro) with a good price. The room was a little small (but clean) for three people, but nothing that differs from other hotels I have stayed at. Service was very welcoming and helpful. The only thing I would change would be the breakfast.

Notti A Roma is nice and reasonable for the price. It is very accessible to all the important sites in Rome. It is also close to the Termini. If you take the train (Leonardo Express) from the airport, unless you are dog-tired and/or have a lot of luggage, you can walk to the B&B from the station. Exit the Termini by the taxi/bus stands and walk towards the Piazza della Repubblica (can't miss it). At the Piazza turn left and continue down Via Nazionale (stay to your right). Walk about 2 blocks to Via Firenze, make a right. Notti A Roma is about 1/3 the way up on the left. If you decide to take a taxi, be warned, it will cost (about 11 Euro for just a few blocks). As for Notti A Roma, the room was clean and comfortable. However, it was by no means quiet. I had a room in the front facing Via Firenze and there is a bar on the corner that comes alive at night. The noise was awful and quiet didn't come until around 3:30 a.m. Luckily, it rained a couple of nights so the people stayed inside. But you can be certain, if the weather is nice, the street will be bustling until the wee hours. Be sure to ask for a quiet room, if they have one. Still, despite the noise, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The price is right, the staff friendly, and the location is perfect for getting around.

the accomodation is situated close to the train station, only an 8 minute walk from there. in comparison with other bed and breakfast is the price and what you will receive for it excellent. the rooms are very comfortable, not much space but enough. rooms are quiet, although close to a big street. we enjoied our stay at notti a roma. one thing i missed was the possibility to reach a good and traditionell italian restaurant on foot. we found one good restaurant. we think that spending holiday in rome might be better around the campo del fiori....very romantically places around there, but very far from notti a roma... we did not use the metro, everything is within walking distance.

Stilvolle Zimmer, zwar sehr klein jedoch blitzblank. Sehr nette Mitarbeiter. Wir haben uns sehr Willkommen gefühlt. Es war schön bei Euch, Danke. This is a wonderful place to stay, at a very good price. It's about 5 blocks from the Termini station, maybe a ten minute walk. The nearest Metro stop is Repubblica, which is two blocks away. Located right off the Via Nazionale, it's within walking distance of the Forum, about 15 minutes away. The breakfast is good; a little more than just coffee and croissant. Very easy to find, and very easy to get to shopping and restaurants in the immediate neighborhood. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling on a budget to Rome, especially if you want to be near Termini to get to/from the airport quickly. The ratio of price to quality is very good, and I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were; they were much better than expected.

Very good value for money considering central location of hotel. Pluses - helpful staff, quieteness and easy reach to bus stop, metro and Termini station, minuses - poor breakfast, noisy A/C, no bathroom shampoo.Just take care that airport transfer may be found cheaper than that offered by hotel. All in all it's difficult to find this level of service and location at this price.

Our stay in Roma was very excellent as stated before. The description of the accomodation was in the way we found it in Roma. The employees were very helpful, their english was better than ours, and they tried everything to make us happy. When you arrive at termini station, take the metro to the station Republica. Walk along the via nazionale up to the Mc Donalds, than there is the Via firenze. It is nearly in the middle of roma, so that you can reach all monuments by foot. Once again thanks for our stay, and we will come back next year.

We used nearly one hour to find the hotel as the hotel was marked totally wrong at the map from Venere. Once we found the place it was a big surprise to us to find that our room was not at the address of the hotel but around the corner, and that we were not able to get to the reseption without going out at the street and in the next dooreven though the employees were able to go between the two appartments trough a door we were not allowed to use this. A totally unacceptable thing was that my children were yelled at and told to go away while they were waiting in the yard for me to close the door and get down the stairs. You cannot rent a room to tourists and not allow their children to stay there! Furthermore, we are a family of four and had ordered a quadriple while what we got was a double with two spare beds. The room was increidle small and there were no room at all to place two suitcases! But there where some positive acsepts as well; The hotel is ideally placed with 'everything' within walking distance, the room was totally quiet (We stayed there when Italy won Football WC, so we should know!) and the staff was friendly and allowed us to ue their computer.

We requested a quad room. What we got was a double and 2 single beds shoved in so that we could barely move in the room. At best, this was a triple. Breakfast was served in the hallway/lobby outside the room doors. There was not enough room for everyone to sit. It was clearly designed for only 2 people per room to have seating. The air conditioning did not work well at all.

We stayed a week at the Notti a Roma. Hotel and furnishings were older but for the price it is a great deal. The staff was one of the friendliest and most helpful we have encountered. They went above and beyond in all areas, lining up taxis, providing maps and tourist information, etc. You can't get a better location in the middle of Rome. You can walk to just about any attraction (except the Vatican) and the train is no more than a 2 minute walk. Price vs. quality and location makes it a great deal. Highly reccommended.

We were in an off site location, which was very nice., THe staff was so helpful, however our room was suppose to be air conditioned. It did have a unit, but with the HOT weather this week it never got cool. We were uncomfortable only due to the heat. It is a very nice place, and the locatioin is the best. The on line map is not accurate, I walked around for 20 minutes becaue only some of the streets were shown on the map. A better on line map would have been helpful But the location is walkable to all sites and LOTS of wonderful inexpensive places to eat.

If you are just looking for an affordable place to stay in Rome, this will work. The location is good, but there are some inconveniences. Our bathroom was down the hall, not part of the room (but it was for our private use). No computer access, but they let you use their's if they are not (briefly). It's nice enough, but nothing great. Still, if you don't want to spend a fortune, this is acceptable.

I had a grand time. Like others, missed the doorway and walked a couple of blocks before turning back. I missed the door because someone was standing in front of their sign. The staff helped find several great restaurants. Breakfast had no fruits, but there was a market nearby so I just picked up some and kept it ready. The place pretty well matched what I had read on Venere (positve). I would be happy to stay here again.

Ask for a room in the adjoining building (called Roman Nights), as it is away from the main road, which sees heavy traffic well into the night. The double room is small & so is the bathroom, but they are both clean and well maintained. After all, this is a B&B, not a hotel. My wife & I were totally satisfied with our experience with the place & its staff. The people are friendly and helpful, with directions & itinerary suggestions. We will definatley stay here again.

A friendly, quiet hotel despite its closeness to one of Rome's main roads. Brilliant location, literally a stones throw to both Metro and Bus stop, also near to the station but far enough away to be out of the dodgy immediate vacinity! the only problem was with hot water. It is unpredictable whether we have it or not. So it takes about 15 or more to wait till hot water starts going from the hot-water tap. And another rather funny thing - because the soggiorno is in the old house with thick walls, the only place where my cell-phone worked was window-sill and preferably with slightly open window.

Unfortunately, I had a very early flight and was not able to fully enjoy what the hotel had to offer. They kindly made arrangements for a 4 am taxi for me, and ensured I had the contact information in case there was any problem, as the reception was not open that early. They also offered to pack me a breakfast to go, but unfortunately, forgot to leave it for me. But, this was not a problem. I do plan on staying at this hotel on my next visit to Rome.

Our breakfast was lovely - croissant, toasts, jam, cheese, and coffee. A great start to the day. Overall we were very happy with Notti a Roma and it appeared to be very good value for money - especially in Rome!

We really enjoyed our stay at Notti al Roma while in Rome. For three first time travelers to Europe, all of our expectations were met and the front desk people were very helpful in answering all of our questions. We ended up staying here our last night as well after we toured more of Italy.

The location is very convenient to both the Termini and within walking distance of many tourist sights. The staff was very helpful and we would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling on a budget seeking clean comfortable accomodations in Rome.

Bon rapport qualité-prix.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival. Breakfast was served to our bedroom door at our request and was good. The Notti a Roma is very central for the sights of Rome and is good value for money.

This hotel is close to everything in Rome and only about a 10 minute walk from the train station. It was average. The room was small and the bed was a bit uncomfortable, but what do you expect for 100 Euro in Rome? The room was quiet as far as outside noise - we had the windows closed with the A/C on. We stayed in a "back" room which was actually separate from the main part of the hotel, so street noise was not really a factor. The only noise issue came from other guests. The walls were thin, so you could hear others talking, and the doors were noisy. Staff was friendly and helpful, and spoke relatively good English.

Very good value. Clean. A bit noisy because we were on the street. We had a quad room but, with pullout sofa in living room, we could have made it 2 bedrooms. Great shower and bathroom. The towels were unusual - more like tablecloths - but OK. We left very early so breakfast was left on a tray outside our door. Staff were very efficient and very helpful.

Our room was clean and pleasant. Small, as expected, but workable. At check-in, the staff was courteous and everything went smoothly. Our room was not in the main complex but a few doors down the street, which was not a problem. Breakfast was good, nothing outstanding. The advertisement stated in room air conditioning which was correct. The problem was that the unit could not efficiently cool the small room and the maid, although requested to leave the air conditioner on, insisted on turning it off every day so we would come back to a stuffy, hot room. As for public areas, there were none and no place to escape the room to cool off. All in all I can't say I was terribly displeased or that anything was not as promised. Given another visit to Rome, however, I would search for other accomodation.

Notti a Roma is an ideal hotel for anyone traveling in Rome. It's a bed and breakfast that offers true Italian charm! The location is ideal, and it is very close to the Forum! I've stayed in Notti a Roma twice, and will not hesitate to return!

Bonne situation, accueil sympathique.

Notti a Roma is a great place to stay when in Rome. Location is convenient to railway station and most sights and shops are within walking distance or you can catch a bus or underground which are also close by. Staff were very warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The day manager was particulary helpful, young and enthusiastic and speaks english well enough. Our room was a little on the small side but there are larger rooms. Very secure. We would stay there again.

I would say that the personal is very helpfully and really like you to have a good stay at there place. The rooms are better in reality then on the pictures. Respond time for questions is very short during booking. Our experience: Late in the evening we ask for scotch tape so we could secure the baggage and after two telephone calls to the chief, the night personal could found the tape to us. We ordered taxi early in the morning and taxi did not showed up as told. Personal at Notti Roma help us to order a new taxi very quickly and we arrived as planed to the airport.

Quiet room, small but with necessary equipment. Clean, but a little dilapidated( 2 small windowpanes replaced by cardboard, a drawer missing in chest of drawers). Situated close to central public transport.Good English breakfast. Kind staff.

This B&B is in a wonerful area -- not too far from Termini station, and close to a lot of great shopping (supermarket, boutiques, anything you could want) and a number of cafes. It's also a short walk to the Forum, etc. Our room was not adjacent to the lobby, but reached through a separate enterance. This made it much like staying in an apartment, which was just fine. The furnishings are charming. The main drawback was that the room was very small. I don't just mean European hotel small, but so small that there was no place to put the suitcase without having to step over it. The bath was similarly sized. I'm not sure what other rooms looked like, but if you make a reservation you might ask about the size of the room and/or ask for something larger (the photos on the website look larger than the room what we had). Other than that it was fine -- nice breakfast, able staff, etc.

The location is the greatest aspect of this hotel and we would definitely stay there again for this sole reason. The young brothers who ran the hotel were very pleasant and helpful. The only odd thing was that they told us they had ONE safe, and only one safe, for everyone to use, and they kept the key. We didn't like this at all, so we didn't use it. Although breakfast in the room was very nice, it was the exact same thing every morning. After the 3rd morning, we were tired of it. They could have made more effort here to add variety to the breakfast. Had 2 problems with the maids. One arrived when I was in the room (waiting for my family to return). I told her to come in, and gestured with my arms to come, "It's OK", nodding madly. I went into the other room, thinking she was cleaning, and all she did was change the towels and take off. The floor clearly needed sweeping, when I went to the office to find out where she went -- she had left for the day! Another day we had 4 used and 4 new bus tickets on the table. We were looking at them just before we left in the morning on a charter bus tour, to be sure they would still be good the following day, as they hadn't been used. When we got home that night, only the 4 USED tickets were on the table, the others all gone. All the members of my family confirmed that there were, indeed, 8 tickets on the table when we left that morning. Needless to say, we did not leave a tip for the maid. It's minor, but very annoying. We didn't report it to the brothers because it seemed so petty, but there is no doubt in our mind that they were there, then they were gone.

Within easy walking distance from the train station, even with luggage, we found Notti a Roma to be easy to find. Our room was beautifully decorated and quiet, and the staff was helpful and unobtrusive. Breakfast was not as interesting, prepackaged pastry and no juice. I wish the towels had been changed during our stay, as these were the same light cotton sheets we have found elsewhere. All in all, I would recommend Notti a Roma, good value in an expensive city.

We were extremely happy at Notti A Roma. As a matter of fact, we have already made a reservation to go back later this year. The B&B staff was very friendly and helpful. They brought breakfast to our room every morning at the time we specified. The room was clean and quiet. The location was wonderful - within walking distance of a metro stop and Termini. There is plenty of shopping and good restaurants nearby, as well as an ATM around the corner. We also felt very safe. You have to be buzzed in to get into the building. It was a good value at 120 euro per night for our triple room. We paid 200 euro per night for a room in Paris that was not quite as nice or as conveniently located.

Our room was on the very noisy street although a off-street room was requested. Street noise from traffic and partying continued half the night making ear plugs a must. Great location near the train, bus connections and shopping. Breakfast was cereal, bread, melba toast and coffee or tea - standard fare for most European B&B's. Very little English spoken by the staff. Asked for some plumbing repairs and had no responce. No satellite TV so, no programing in English. Excellent air conditioning. We found there are many other hotels nearby with much better location and ambiance - more money but worth it.

May 2005 We had 2 double rooms ours was immediately off the reception area - I thought it was a cupboard to begin with but once inside the room was a good size but quite noisy as close to the main road. The other room was at the rear of the hotel & much quieter. Breakfast was good the staff willing to bring more if needed - just ask! The hotel is well situated for visiting all the sights we didn't need to use public transport at all. I have already recommended this hotel to friends - what more can I say?!

This is as good as it gets when this centrally located in Rome, far enough from Termini to avoid the train-station sleaziness but still only a 12-minute walk. Everything close. Clean and secure. Sure it's not perfectly free of street noise, but this is Rome!

We had a great time in Rome and in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was quiet too. All in all, we can recommend this hotel to everybody else.

It was comfortable, with easy access to the metro in one direction and just one stop to change to go in the other. We walked to many things but were comfortable with a bit of a trek. Bfast was fairly good for European stlye. We were cramped for three adults once the luggage was in there, but then we opted for a low cost room. We would use this location again.
