Bed and Breakfast My Life - Rome

I very much enjoyed my stay at My Life - was immediately made to feel very welcome by the very kind host and his wife. The location was convenient for me - and is also not too far from the centre of town. I found the walk into town, through the Borghese park towards the Spanish Steps, particularly lovely towards sunset. Breakfast options are perhaps a bit limited compared to a big hotel but is very homely.

The price for the quality is excellent. We paid 98 euros for a double with private bath. The owners were present, clean, well mannered and assisted with everything from locations on were to park for free to bus maps and ticket for the bus (which is great if you arrive late). The room was clean and comfortable if not exotic. Came with TV too. I would be comfortable recommending this to my boss for example as a great value B&B. The bathroom was spacious and clean and the only problem was the toilet that seemed to take a long time to fill. Plenty of instant hot water. Breakfast was nothing special, a continental breakfast, but more than enough to go around. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Easy bus transfers, walking distance to both Northern parks and right next to some funky neighborhood that seems more Barcellona than Roma. The only thing is does not do is compare with services to a large hotel but that is not a complaint as it is a B&B.

Nachdem der Vermieter uns schon am Vorabend unserer Reise angerufen und über die Busverbindungen informiert hatte,holte er uns bei unserer Ankunft in der Nähe der Haltestelle ab.Ein netter Service! Da das Zimmer mit eigenem Bad sehr dunkel ist, würde ich das Zimmer mit Badmitbenutzung wählen, zumal alles tipptopp sauber ist.

MyLife is a very attractive place to stay, which can certainly be recommended! The access by public transport (bus, tram) is very good, both during day and night time. Hovever, the entrance is not easy to find. But without asking him for this, the owner of the place was waiting for us to arrive at the bus stop. This was very very nice from him and very helpful.

This accomodation was appropriate for modest people who like clean room with bathroom. I would recommend it definitely to friends who want to visit Rome.
