Bed and Breakfast Mok'House - Rome

Had a great time here. Excellent location and the guys were very welcoming and helpful.

We were positively surprised by the welcome of Marco and his readiness to provide us with assistance and helpful information . Clean and spacious rooms; if you are located on the 3rd or 4th floor, don't worry as your luggage will be carried upstairs. If you don't mind to walk, the B&B is well situated to visit the historic centre and is situated in a quiet street compared to Roma standards.

We had our stay in the 500room and it is simply perfect for couples to stay in. Quite romantic and Marco(the host), suprised us with a bottle of his Mok`House wine on the house. We were staying here in August2010 so the air-conditioning kept the room nice temepered on a hot day in Rome. Marco was kind and helpful with questions we had with our first stay in Rome. We can easily say that we will return to Mok`House when returning to Rome!

We wanted to experience the "real" Rome and not some chain hotel. Mok'House was wonderful for that. Marko and Andrea are renovating an old apartment building into a B&B, so the entry and hall are run-down looking. Our room was beautiful and modern, however, and very comfortable. The guys are splendid hosts who were incredibly welcoming and helpful to us. The neighborhood is full of little places to eat at a table on the sidewalk or enjoy a gelato. It is also in easy walking distance of the major metro, bus and train terminal of Rome, so getting anywhere was a snap. We heartily recommend Mok'House and its hosts.

Good position, although did find it difficult to locate from train station through directions given. We were alocated an upstairs room (4 Floors ie 8 flights of steps) Not too good if you have a lot of heavy luggage.

Thanks for an excellent stay in Roma! Excellent hospitality and great value. Very spacious room (especially for Eurpean standards, though shower still small) Very comfortable bed and balcony for fresh air. Great complimentary breakfast! Small operation with great personalized service, reccomendations for food etc. were excellent! Room not refreshed daily which wasn't a problem for us. If stairs are an issue for you, this would not be the place for you, there are lots of them! Cash payment for room.
