Not taking the proposed service driver, but simply use the taxis for the travel airport-B&B

Nice, friendly B&B, but soooooo noisy !

Absolutely great place to stay. Good area with ample selection of restaurants and cafes in close proximity. Only a 10 minute walk to the centre too. Mauro the owner is very welcoming, he speaks perfect english and makes every effort to help you feel at home. He even took us out partying on our final night! Cheers Mauro! I would absoloutely recomend this B&B to stay in Rome!! Everything in the house was very comfortable, clean and made you feel at home. Mauro was amazing with great information and being very helpfull with everything you needed. The location is grat, the breakfast across the street is good and i would go back there for sure on my next visit to Rome.

Location is great, just near Porta Portese and calm neighbourhood still 5 min.s walk to vibrant night life of Trastevere. Mauro is extremely welcoming and warm, and the place is flat-like which makes it feel at your home!

The single rooms are on the small side but the apartment is beautiful and the owner goes out of his way to be helpful and hospitable.

Best place we have stayed in Italy. After some poor experiences this one made up for the others. We will come back.

We very much enjoyed our stay at B&B Mite. The owners welcomed us very friendly and, as we happened to arrive at dinner time, even invited us to join them for a pizza in the centre of Trastevere. Our room was clean and spacious. On weekdays the breakfast was a standard Italian breakfast at the bar accross the street, but in the weekend, Tad and Mauro served us cappuccino and hot croissants in the kitchen of the appartment. Normally we wouldn't book a room with a shared bathroom. This was not a problem at all (in fact part of our stay we had the bathroom for ourselves), but it would be better if this would be written more explicitely on the website. B&B Mite is at walking distance from the historical centre of Rome, from the Colosseum and the lively area of Trastevere centre. For a next stay in Rome we would probably stay here again.

We stayed three nights at B&B Mite in April 2009 and it was terrific. We were two middle-aged couples, and we had two bedrooms plus large bath for ourselves in addition to the shared fully-equipped kitchen and large living room. It's in a very large apartment complex -- looking out at rows and rows of other apartment balconies was fascinating for us (we're from small towns). The location was excellent -- easy walking or tram to everything, including a grocery store -- and a gelato shop on the ground floor of our building! Breakfast at La Gardenia across the street was excellent too. Taddeo explained everything to us and was very kind and accommodating, then left us alone to enjoy his lovely place. We loved B&B Mite and would go back again.

Excellent B&B in Rome, I certainly will come back in my next trip

I have had a very pleasant stay at Mite. It is clean and quiet and the owners of the pension are both very kind and very helpfull. Mite is close to the tram that goes directly to Largo Argentina as well as to a bus that goes to Piazza Venezia.

Mite is, in fact, a suite of rooms on the 6th floor of a block of flats in a quiet residential area, with no sign on the street. No problem on arrival, as ever-helpful Mauro is waiting outside. Easy access to centre by bus and tram. Excellent value. Would happily stay there again.

Very nice appartment in an excellent area to stay in Rome (Trastevere), if you like staying at quiet, residential area, yet just minutes walk away from the ancient sites or night-time restaurants.

Excellent. A bit expensive in comparison with other cities, but probably that's Rome for you!

We were very happy to find such a good b&b in a quiet area in Trastevere very close to the inner centre.Our hosts were perfect. THe only thing we suggest is that it would be easier and better to have the breakfast in the appartment instead of the cafe downstairs;anycase it was not a problrm for us.The fee is very honest for Rome which is too much expensive tourist place!
