Bed and Breakfast Maison Genevois 3 - Rome

The room was very comfortable and clean. Easy access to bus and Metro, walking distance to Vatican. Breakfast was simple and adequate. Marco was an excellent host and was very responsive to our needs - the shower head broke and he had it replaced within a few hours! highly recommend MG3

Marco was an excellent host. He waited for us even though we were an hour late. He stayed to explain everything and give us some tips about getting around Rome. It was a big plus having a kitchen with a refrigerator so take advantage if you can. The room was bigger than expected and the beds were comfortable. The shared shower is very tiny and it would have been nice to have a hair dryer but that was the only small issue. We had a wonderful time and would consider going back.

Very convenient location. Communal kitchen very useful. Only thing that let it down slightly was the breakfast - there were a reasonable variety of options but mostly chosen for ease of storage rather than quality (e.g. UHT milk, processed cheese, pre-packaged croissants etc.).

This is a great choice for a B and B in this lovely neighbourhood. A big plus and point of difference is the option of using the little kitchenette for the preparation of snacks or even a light meal, provided one cleans up afterwards! A good option when one just feels like relaxing 'at home'. Another point to note is that there are actually TWO rooms with ensuite - a larger one with balcony, with (as yet) unrenovated but perfectly serviceable bathroom, and a second smaller room (no balcony) with its own new bathroom. The ever-pleasant Marco does his best to answer all your questions and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Thank you, Marco, for all your kindness when I was there!

Marco is a nice person.Good breakfast, good location,easy to go to Vatican and easy to go to metro station,but you still have to prepare stronger foot,walking aroud in rome should be very interesting.so good luck and god bless you.

Nous avons été accueillis très chaleureusement par Marco. Il nous a indiqué comment nous rendre au centre-ville, nous a expliqué quels étaient les bus à prendre ou le métro. La chambre d'hôtes est très bien située, à quelques pas de l'arrêt de métro Lepanto, à 20 minutes (à pied) de la Piazza Navona et à 10-15 minutes du Vatican et de St Pierre. Les chambres et la salle de bains étaient toujours très propres, nettoyées tous les jours, le lit était aussi refait tous les jours. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, une adresse à conseiller!

We had a really good stay at Maison Genevois. The owner is extremly friendly an helpful. In a 10 minutes walk you can reach the historical center of Rome. The flat is clean and nice; just perfect for us as a couple. I would recommend this flat for any person who is looking for a good relationship between Quality and Price. An excellent location for a budget trip to this amazing city.

Clean, renovated apartment. Very good location. Still in the heart of Rome, but in a quiet "corner". Very nice and helpful host. Just excellent choice! :)

The B&B owner is young, nice, friendly and very available, in order to show us the B&B services and activities/restaurants close to the B&B. The B&B is 10 minutes walk from castel Sant'Angelo and San Pietro, the surroundings are very quite. I stayed at the B&B just one night with 2 friends but i'd like to stay more: don't miss it!

Hi Marco Thank you for a fantastic stay. I can only recommend Maison Genevois 3 to everyone. It was nice to stay a bit away from the city center, and explore a really nice neighbourhood with some nice shops and really good trattorias. Soren

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt dort. Zimmer geräumig, sauber und schön eingerichtet. Die Lage innerhalb Rom könnte nicht viel besser sein. 3 Minuten zur Metro, gute 10 Minuten zum Vatikan. Der Besitzer und die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und für alle Fragen offen. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis super! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Excellent price for a nice location

Nice apartment in a quiet area not far from the historical centre. A night walk from the centre to the B@B is about 1-1,5 hours if the transport has stopped already. Courteous service provided. One unpleasant thing are the same things for breakfast every day and no diversity of food offered. But luckily I could prepare my favourite style of coffee myself.

The place was not easy to find. If your are looking for it find the shell garage & it`s to the right. This will help. Otherwise nice place with cooking facilities if you want to use then to cook an even meal. Would book again if we go to rome.

We decided to book this B&B because it seemed to be nice with this decoration of French painters along the walls of the place and we loved the idea to have a balcony to drink our coffee in the morning!!! I particularly enjoyed my stay in Maison Genevois because you have all the facilities in the surroundings (bar, metro...) and the friendliness of Marco that made our stay in Rome on the top of that!!! He really helped us from A to Z finding our way in this beautiful city as well as the area of the wedding we were invited to. I have to say that even though there is no individual bathroom per rooms, this is not an inconvenient at all and there is so much to do in Rome, you won't see the time disappearing!!!

We had a cosy stay at Marcos flat during 4 days. Even if all rooms were booked and allthough the common areas are not so spacy, we did not feel the other visitors. Marco is running his business in a very professional way. All neccessary facilities are at hand and Marco is allways available for support. Best facility is, that there is a metrostation within 5 minutes walk from the flat. We surely would like to come back to Maison Genevois.

Very enjoyable stay. Marco is very kind, reliable and helpful. Room is spacious, clean and taste decorated. There is also a small TV and beautifull terrace. There are 3 bathrooms for 4 rooms but it's not a problem at all. The location is great (walking distance to the vatican, st. peter's basilica, piaza Navona, piaza Spagna) and bus and metro transportation just around the corner. Will stay with pleasure again.

Close to many interesting places - Vatican City - 10min.walk, Castel Sant Angelo 10 min, Piazza Navona - 15 min. 3 min to subway stop Lepanto. Quiet surroundings. I was very satisfied.
