Bed and Breakfast Maior - Rome

Everything was perfect! Rooms are very clean and nice. Location is very comfortable for foot walkings and city sightsing. Thank you Lidiya!!! It was a pleasure to stay at B&B Maior. Excellent hotel, located near the station and several ways of communications. Central position in Roma. The breakfast only is disappointing because of the croissants are not coming directly from a bakery. Hotel very estimable even though !

Good location,room is clean and spacious, just our bathroom was private external, which was a bit inconvenient.

Good location, not far away from train station, can walk to Colosseo. Very nice host, good breakfast and free WiFi. Recommend!

Excellent hotel, needed a budget stopover in Rome and this was perfect. Two blocks from Termini,in the right direction, and in a nice Piazza. Had a single room that had TV, safe, fridge and fan. Bathroom was separate but private to the room, good shower. Breakfast was laid out to help yourself and perfectly adaquate. Staff very friendly and helpful and the actual building is beautiful. For 50 Euros I wasn't going to find something much cheaper than this in July and was very happily surprised by what I got for the money. Would recommend to anyone that wants a pretty central location on a budget that still wants a room that is very clean and well appointed.

Came to see my daughter in Rome for a weekend off, had a marvellous stay at B&B Maior, in a very spacy double room with all facilities, own bathroom & toilet, room breakfast just in front of the Basilica, very clean and well kept, clean towels every day, bed made. Friendly welcome, possibility of leaving the luggage the last day for visiting, it was just perfect, and not expensive. Same price as a youth hostel, but comfort of a hotel, just great!

B&B Maior was perfect. The view from our room overlooking the piazza at Santa Maggiore was absolutely beautiful and separated itself from other B&Bs in the same area. Stefano and his brother do a great job and really accomidated our late arrival to the city (2200). Everything was explained and all our questions were answered. Check-in was a breeze. Great job guys, keep up the good work. Great value for the money!

This was the first time we went to Italy, and the first time we visited Rome as well. Rome is a marvellous city and with thanks to B&B MAIOR we could explore a part of it. Every time in the future we want to visit Rome we will book a room in Maior.The people are friendly, the rooms very clean (real hotel-service) and it's a perfect start-base to discover the magnificent city. We had a wonderfull time in Maior/Rome as an own 20-years-honeymoon-present. Thank you Maior and see you next time.

The location is excellent. Near to train, metro, bus station, supermarket and restaurants. Very spacious and clean room. Though we have the bathroom outside the room, it is spacious and clean. The kitchen is nice too. I especially loved the breakfast, which include unlimited supply of crossants, bread, butter & jam, toaster, coffee/tea and fresh fruits. Need some minor improvements: free wifi, better door lock (the current one seems not secure), microwave oven, curtain for the bath-tab, no air condition in summer (but good enough for autumn/winter.) quite noisy from the neighbour/residents.

Very convenient location near the train station. Walking distance to Colosseum and many other sites. Friendly and helpful staff, perfectly clean rooms and bathroom.

It was my first time at Maior B&B and the experience was quite good. The B&B is nice and clean, recently renovated, and convenient to Termini railway station and to the underground.

The Maior only has a few rooms and is a bit hard to find. The Manager made sure we knew about the local sites and showed us how to make breakfast; the room was perfect for us.

It was a charming place, but when we arrived at our agreed upon arrival time (the staff meets you with the key) we had to wait an hour to get into the room since the previous couple had not vacated. In addition, though I realized that it would be hot, one oscillating fan is not enough to keep you cool in July in Rome. I would not stay here again in the summer for this reason.

Unavailability of WiFi was an inconvenience considering it minimal cost and almost universal availability ay other accomodation

Our spacious double room had it's own private ensuite - immaculately clean and beautifully presented. A small table and chairs was placed near the windows for breakfast and where we could view the Square and Cathedral. We had a fridge in our room but could also use the fridge in the communal kitchen where we were able to make meals. Being in the middle of Rome was such a buzz and it was easy to get around. Road noise was fine but could hear others coming and going at all hours. We would be happy to recommend this property to other travellers.

Suprisingly not much reviews were written for B+B Maior while I made the hotel booking. Location is easily found right next to Church St Maggiore. There are totally 4 rooms in this flat. The ensuite we stayed is spacious with a dressing room, a huge bathroom, small fridge & a flat TV. Pantry is outside. Housekeeping at 9am daily to make up room so the places are kept crystal clean. But, be cautious while bathing as hot water supply is not enough though this problem is ratified after reported to the landlord. Proximity to Termini means convenient to shop or to metro/bus station.

We had a tough time reaching them when we arrived to be let in- make sure they know your exact time of arrival. Then, in the morning we were awakened very early by people coming in and out of the B&B. The noise control to the street was great, but to the hallway is was very poor. If you're an early riser, it's a beautiful, clean, spacious place to stay at a great location.

Small apartment but adequate for our needs. Stefania met us ON TIME and was very helpful. Great location on the main street of Riomaggiore, but a bit noisy on Saturday night and in the early morning.

Fantastico b&b, comodissimo con i mezzi pubblici, a due passi dal centro! Le stanze sono accoglienti e pulite, e anche sulla colazione niente da ridire, davvero ottima! Otttima anche l'accoglienza: il ragazzo mi ha dato un sacco di dritte per rendere più piacevole il mio seppur breve soggiorno a Roma... da tornarci!!!

Hotel was very nice, probably the best i have stayed at in Rome. Very clean & spacious, the private bathroom was also excellent, again very clean. The breakfast service at the Cottini was also very good & easy to use with the tokens provided. The owners were very helpful in helping me find the hotel & also when the hotel door wouldn't open at 5am!! I hope to be back in Rome in September/October time & would definatly stay at Hotel Maior again.
