cheap and nice place to stay, its little problem with quietness of room (thin walls and noise from the street) but it isnt so cumbersome, its little problem with pressure of hot water but rather its normal in houses in center Rome, I will recommend this place to friends

We stayed in Rome for 3 days (2 nights) in early July. The room was better than expected, with the staff (1 person) being extremely helpful in everything we asked for. There is no air-condition but we asked for a fan and he brought us one in seconds, thus we had no problem with the heat. The bathroom was huge and stylish. The breakfast was consisted from: Rusks, biscuits, strawberry and cherry marmalade, milk and two types of coffee. Adequate but not continental as listed in venere.com though. The location was a 3' walk from Termini station, making it really easy to access every attraction in Rome. The only downside is that that the room was completely non-soundproof, making it difficult to sleep as you could hear even the steps of someone walking by and also making it difficult to have intimate times. Thus, I would recommend this room to everyone except young couples.

Great experience! Location is just perfect. However, one of the two rooms booked, was facing one of the side streets, leading to the Termini station. Was very noisy 24/7. The guy from the staff could not find the remote control for the air conditioner for 4 nights! Very comfortable rooms and a great ratio price-quality :)

I think overall is good. The room is clean and spacious. But I did not mention I need a separate double to me, so I need to share the double with my friends. And, do not expect too much on the breakfast. They offer some biscuits, jam, honey, coffee and milk. But there is a kitchen where you could cook yourself. This is the first time I visit Rome, do not be scared when you arrive lucky house, there is a receptionist welcoming you outside the house. Of course, stay conscious! Hope you have a nice stay here

The lucky house is great for young couples looking for something cheap and well-located but not willing to share rooms or bathroom. - It is very well-located in terms of public transportation: very close to the main central station for train, metro and buses, very convenient. -We spent there 4 nights and had all the attention needed: the bed was done every day, the bed sheets were changed once, we had no problems with hot water, there was a hairdryer, there were shampoo and shower gel... - There is a fridge and a stove for everyone to use. The inconvenients that we found were: - It is an old building and everything is noisy (the wooden floor, the doors...) -The breakfast was a little bit poor, we had to buy our own food to supplement the things that they already had: toasts, jelly, coffee, tea, sugar, milk. - the towels were not changed - very badly insulated in terms of noise, from the street and from the other rooms and public areas (including church bells at 7am every day) - no Internet, even though the web-site said so

Breakfast Continental breakfast was promised. No way: some bisquits and marmalade, that's all. Not served, but selfservice and you can finish your breakfast by washing the dishes. Towels we stayed 3 nights. There was no towelchange. Used towels we put on the floor (as usual). Back in the hotel in te evening: the same towels were hang on the bed to use again. Dirty towels in a temperature of more 35 degrees!

The reason I chose this is the location AND supposed to be Breakfast service. but Guess what.. There was NO BREAkFAST at all. There is a common small kitchen there is a stove and a refrigerator. That's it. All they offered is a Coffee packets. (!) NO BREAD or BUTTER . Nothing- The description is deceiving. The Towels and sheets smells! The only good thing about this place is the Location. It is few blocks from Termini station. Thats all-

Rooms were noisy at night, walls are thin. Our room in itself was pretty spacious but basic. The bathroom was definitely not clean. For a bed and breakfast they don't offer much 'breakfast'.. just milk, bread, and some jelly. Was expecting more but for the price to stay in Rome it's not terrible. We had full access to the kitchen so at least we were able to prepare our own meals and such, saving us money rather than eating out. Also the location is key - just a few blocks from the main Termini Station.

I had a wonderful stay. The location is not in the historical centre, but close to termini, where the underground leaves so that compensates a lot. Further, there is no evening clock, which is very convenient. Only downside was the scanty breakfast (rusk) and that we had to call a phone number for him to come. I rather just walk up to a service desk. Anyhow, when called, he came immediately so that was good. The guy was also very friendly. Overall, good location, good price-quality ratio and a very nice stay.

Barely better than a youth hostel, very noisy and inconsiderate guests (door slammed, cooking curry early morning, talking loud early morning and late at night, children crying). Avoid the room opposite the kitchen, you are guaranteed to be woken up every morning! Very helpful and sweet staff but not enough to give a good impression!

Lucky House is very clean and neat. It is in a great location, near the Termini station. The person who met us was competent and helpful with hotel aspects. If a person was there at all times, this would make the experience better. Also, the hot water was a problem. One night it was not turned on until the maintenance person was called. After that, the water was warm at best and in short supply. There is great potential for this hotel.

really no value for money. the only positive thing is that it is really clean. but besides that:welcoming was not "pleasant", we (2 ladies) were welcomed by maybe 4 indian guys.the main guy is very unpleasant "naturally".our room was in the part that big noise was coming from the street, so we could not sleep from early morning.there were no hot water in the shower, only slightly warm which was too cold even with 30 degrees outside.we had to argue with the "main guy" to leave our luggages next day for only 2 hours (he wanted to charge 2 eur/h, at the end we agreed for free).dont forget u need to pay extra 2 eur "tourist fee" (in some other B&B u dont need where they dont give you official receipt).to sum up:for this price there are better B&B (from experience talking).

My husband and I stayed for 5 nights during Easter Holidays 2011. Our room and bathroom was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We announced our arrival time per mail 2 days ahead and got a reply with confirmation. Staff was there to check us in. Everything went perfect! Breakfast is self-service in the common kitchen "italian style": biscuits, jam and instant coffee or tea. We prefer to have breakfast in one of the many bars in the surroundings of the hotel. But its nice to be able to use the common fridge for some fruits or yoghurt. The only thing that could be improved is luggage storage at the day of leaving. That is not offered at the moment though it would help the guest a lot. We will recommend this place for sure because of its very good value and the convenient location only a few blocks from Termini. Thank you!

We stayed in different rooms during our stay in Rome. The TV in the first room which we stayed did not work and the toilet seat was cracked. We went in spring so the weather was still quite cold. The room had a heater but it was not working and we were not sure whether it was centralized heating. No carpetted floors so it as very cold walking on the tiled floor. Bring along a pair of slippers. There was nobody to ask unfortunately as the place is more of an apartment with rooms, hence no reception. Breakfast was a DIY thing in the kitchen which we did not utilize during our stay. Location wise was gd, within walking distance from Termini station. Keep a lookout for your belongings when in that area.

Good area, good location. To say breakfast is included and then just provide a kitchen with some dry biscuits and coffee that you make yourself requires a new mindset when using the term 'breakfast included'. The location is ok (but it still took about 7 minutes of fast walk to get to the metro and we were expecting less). The bathroom (shower) was a bit tired. The room itself was nice, clean and quiet. Kitchen- huge advantage. We've stayed for 6 nights. It would be a great value for a little less money. At this price it is not competitive. Conditionally recommended.

Great hotel in a nice and proper area in easy walking distance to the main train + bus + metrostation in Rome (about 15 minutes to Coliseum and 20 minutes to the Vatican). There are some nice Trattorias + Restaurants all around and a supermarket as well as a shopping mall are located in the trainstation, which is useful cause there is a kitchen for the guests in the Lucky House available (some basic food provided for free). You should call in advance to (re)assure your arrival time, cause otherwise there might be nobody present. But this posed no problem at all for us, the necessary english is spoken and we didn´t have to wait.

I was staying with my girlfriend for a long weekend. It was the second time we have stayed in a B&B in Rome in the past 3 months and this one was not as good as the first, yet the price was the same. The room was perfectly adequate and clean, however, the guy who owned the B&B could barely speak English so communicating with him on any level was impossible. The bathroom was separate to the room, which we were expecting, however we had to share it with other guests which we didn't like and weren't told about on arrival. You pretty much need to write off breakfast as all we were given was a piece of bread and orange juice one day one and nothing else (we were there for 3 nights!)! There were shared kitchen facilities to use but no other food provided at breakfast! The location was excellent - just 2 minutes walk from the main Termini station.

Our stay at the Lucky House for 2 days from October 1st to 3rd and after our cruise for another 3 days from 15th to 18th October was very enjoyable. The rooms were huge and value for money at 52 Euros wasmuch better than the 2 hotels we stayed at 2 years ago when we were in Rome where we paid twice as much for rooms half the size. Breakfast is poor being a biscotti and coffee but this is a minor point as the place was spotless and the shared bathrooms were large and clean. A negative is that we had to wait for 2hrs oin our return to the Lucky House so if someone was more available this would be useful as the cleaning lady would have to be the most unfriendly person we have ever met. Thank goodness she looks after the building and not the Lucky House. Location is excllent as it is only 5 mins from Termini station and an easy walk into the Colosseum and the Via Nationzale are. The woman that runs the house is very friendly. There's a kitchen for cooking and the toilets are shared but are big and clean. The location is also great, next to Termini Station in a quite street.

Excellent choice for a trip in Roma ! Cheap, clean, close to the train station, nice owner. Only advice to the owner, give more things for the breakfast!

This BnB was chosen due to good location close to Roma Termini. 1)nobody welcomed though I informed the manager about my schedule several days before actual arrival.i had to dial the same number and found that the info about arrival time was missed (the manager's English was terrible). Therefore we had to wait for more than an hour to enter the BnB. 2)the person delivered the keys was the manager's brother; he could not produce even a single word in English; nevertheless he accepted 64Euros. 3) The bed sheets were DIRTY! We had to use towels and our clothes instead of it! 4) Breakfast consisted of dried crusts, jam, milk and coffee/tea. Nothing more. 5) Certainly no iron was provided 6) Also the following note was found inside of the room: ‘Absolutely forbidden to leave the “baggages” inside the BnB the day of the departure….whoever the days of the check out leaves the baggages in the house or your bring away the keys over after 10:00 in the morning must pay another night in BnB’. I would NEVER recommend this BnB.

WE DID NOT HAVE ANYONE THERE TO LET US IN AND HAD TO KEEP COMING BACK UNTIL THE HOUSE CLEANER WAS THERE. WE WERE NOT TOLD THERE ARE 3 BATHROOMS BUT ONLY 1 HAS A HOT SHOWER AND IT SAYS NON SMOKING BUT SOMEONE STAYING THERE SMOKED AND NO ONE SEEMED TO CARE WHICH BOTHERED BOTH OF US.

On our arrival we were greeted by a very gentle hostess who showed us around - our room, bathroom, kitchen and explained everything we needed. The room was very bright, quite and tasteful. Despite the b&b is close to Termini station, the surrounding are very friendly and quite. Wonderful stay in a strategic place of Rome.

The reason we chose this B&B was because of proximity to the Termini Station and the very reasonable price. The manager went out of her way to wait around for a suitcase which was to be delivered to us while we were out.

Me encanto el departamento, es amplio, sumamente limpio e iluminado, para ir en grupo y ocupar los 5 cuartos sería ideal. El precio es excelente y la ubicación tambien.
