I had a great stay at the Taré B&B. Mariana was wonderful, very welcoming and most helpful in responding to my needs. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean. Breakfast in the terrace was the highlight of my day. Food was delicious, well presented and the flowers exquisite. I felt quite at home. Also, this B&B is very close to a lot of sites, 500 mètre from Place Saint Peter and all. i will come back and highly recommend this quaint B&B. Thanks a million to Mariana.

It was a busy time in Rome when we booked last minute. Prices were quite high in general. 100 Euro was more than we had wanted to spend on a B & B. The accommodations are clean which is of utmost importance to us. We had a double room, the bathroom was seperate though unfortunately. The bed was a touch on the hard side, but not unbearable. As others have mentioned before, the terrace is fantastic to enjoy your breakfast or a glass of vino and snacks. The breakfast is lovely with lots of options. The area is safe. It has a great local feel to it, which is nice, to escape the tourist traps. There are local grocery stores, deli, and cafes nearby. Marianna is most pleasant and professional. Yes, we would recommend staying here.

It is an extremly tidy and homely place. It is slightly away from the inner city but can be reached easily by the Metro. I did not find any good eating places in the neighbourhood. Maybe I should have asked the hostess as she was very helpful. I was completely satisfied with the experience and recommend this place.

Marianne, the very friendly hostess, welcomed us in a very clean apartment with spacious rooms. The shared bathroom was large and clean. The breakfast was excellent. It was served every morning in our room at the time that we had requested. From the room you had access to your own "private" terrace. (Who needs this in Rome!) The metro station to the center of Rome was a 5 minutes walk. The bus stop (line 23, via Leone IV) to the Trastevere district, the place to be in the evening, was a 10 minutes walk. A really vere comfortable stay. I'm sure we will come back here.

Le Tare is located in an apartment building in Rome and made us feel as if we had a short term apartment that someone else meticulously cleaned each day. I truly recommend it for anyone who likes to see how the locals live. Best: 1. The room was huge and better lit than in the photos. The entire location was modern and impeccably maintained. 2. There is a great terrace attached to each room. 3. The breakfast was great--fresh and varied and so yummy! We often skipped lunch because the breakfast was so filling. Get the capuccino! 4. Marianna is lovely and was tolerant of our inability to master the keys. What a great hostess! The only thing that I wasn't aware of is that the bathroom is shared among the 3 guest rooms. Not a real problem, but something you should know going in. Enjoy!

The facility is not too convenient for people using public transportation, and the general city area is rather messy. coverage of the facility, from a personnel standpoint, is not full time, and this could be a problem for travelers planning to arrive at odd hours. the b&b did substantially meet my expectations, but it seems to be more suitable for people visiting the city for pleasure rather than for business

Buona accoglienza e colazione abbondante. Posizione comoda (nei pressi della fermata netro) e tranquilla. Servizio discreto e apprezzabile. Unica nota (per abitudine):il bagno in comune.Ma si può chiudere un occhio per la qualità di tutto il resto.

Having stayed at B&B's in Rome twice before, I can say unequivocally that my time at La Tare has been the best. Mariana was a top notch hostess and amazing chef as well. In fact, the pesto she prepared was at least as good, if not better than, what I have had out in the Ligurian Region of Italy. In addition, there is a great veranda where you can enjoy your meal outdoors..nice touch. Great hospitality, clean and modern, fantastic value, and great cuisine. Highly recommended!

Modern, clean rooms with Italian character plus terrace, well located to the Vatican and public transport to the city, quite, very good service by the helpful and kind owners - I can't imagine a better accomodation close to the center of Rome.

Mariana did an excellent job on welcoming a customer in a heartwarming way and providing any information on whatever I wanted. The house overall including my room and bathroom was very clean and nicely decorated. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends. Location of this B&B was also convenient in terms of the closeness to a subway station and Vatican city.

We spent a long weekend in Rome and we spontaneously decided to add another 2 days. Le Tare is a real nice place, everything was clean and well maintained, it was quiet and the reception was warm and nice. We particulary enjoyed the breakfasts and some picnic diners on the terrazza.
