Excellent staff and service. I've seldom experienced the hospitality that was given to me at this B&B. Truly extraordinary! There is a bit of noise from the street at night and from the seagulls (yes seagulls) in the early morning.

Perfect location. You can walk to all the great sights. A very gracious place to spend your vacation in Rome. Loved the street that it is located on. Great restaurants right there outside your door. We loved it.

We surely did enjoy our stay at "LA MAISON DELL'OROLOGIO", michelle our hostess was amazing. The room was large enough, clean, tidy. One thing though, it was very very noisy, lucky for us it wasn't too crowded outside, but still you could easily think people were standing in your room, as well as cars and "scooters". The situation was amazing, so close to the vatican, piazza popolo, and castel st angel !!! one more thing, la maison dell' orologio, need to work on the breakfast, maybe get better choice on what is to be served, cereals were missing, bacon and eggs would have been much apreciated, better than the homemade pastries (very tasty though...) for those who are to stay there, michelle is an incredible hostess, always available, very kind ... ok one last thing, there s a pizzeria named "BAFFETO" close by, very famous for the pizzas they make ... forget about it, you queue too long, they treat you like shit (have been waiting more than 1 hour to be served), and they re a bunch of thieves (check your receipt ... if you get one !!!) INSTEAD, go to a place called 433 (same street, 100 yards beforeteh baffeto) and there you ll get a warm welcome, nice wine, good music, and... very tasty food !!!! it has been our cantine for most of our stay !!!. we ll come back for sure, with our kids this time !!

Fabrizio is the most welcoming and accommodating host we encountered in Italy. The B&B is spotless - rooms are completely made up daily. Breakfast was a feast and everything was fresh. Coffee (lots of it) was made to order. When our flight home was postponed for 2 days, and no room was available at the Maison dell'Orologio, Fabrizio ensured we found a new place to stay. He also recommended great local restaurants, with good value (not tourist prices!) Would highly recommend this B&B

This is really a little gem in Rome. The location is perfect, you're within walking distance to any interesting historical place in Rome. The place is really very small, but very well kept, and we found it utterly charming. The breakfast was lovely although continental, with home-made pastries, fresh croissants every day and other delicacies such as hams and cheeses. The staff is really worth the journey alone. Fabrizio had managed to book tickets and entrance to "difficult" places nearly before we had uttered a wish. This is our place in Rome! Two Norwegians

It was very pleasant, with friendly staff, modern clean bathroom, good breakfast and great location. Our only complaint is that there were no wifi, though they did have a wired computer with internet access that we were free to use.

Fabrizio's welcome was warm and enthusiastic. We had looked forward to meeting him after his very helpful email communication prior to our arrival. He didn't disappoint, and other staff members were friendly and helpful as well. Our suite (#1?) was clean, spacious, and well appointed. The bathroom was equally impressive with a large shower and excellent lighting. Upon arrival, Fabrizio gave us information describing typical Roman restaurants and wine bars ~ and even a little supermarket ~ along with a map on which these were numbered. The b&b is in a nice neighborhood within walking distance of Piazza Navona, Campo de Fiori, and Trastevere. Wonderful Italian breakfast as well. We look forward to our next stay - highly recommended!

La Maison dell'Orologio was a fantastic place to stay for visiting Rome! ** Location is perfect: ten minutes walking distance to the Vatican and 15 minutes to the Forum Romanum; ** Service friendly and personal: the owner and staff were always around and available for advice on activities and restaurants; ** Rooms lovely: rooms were clean, quiet and nicely decorated. All-in-all a great place to stay for visiting Rome and we would definitely come back here.

This is a wonderful little B&B. It has two overwhelming advantages: its location right in the middle of Rome's interesting downtown/historical area, and the warm personal welcome offered by Fabbrizio and the staff. They could not have been more accomodating.

B&B delizioso in pieno centro. A 2 passi da ristoranti, trattorie, monumenti e negozi. Ideale per muoversi a piedi nel centro di Roma. Staff gentilissimo e camere spaziose e curate. Potrebbe forse migliorare la colazione, che è un po' scarsa.
