Useful location near the metro station, walking distance to San Pietro, beautiful and clean room and bath, you can use the kitchen to prepare breakfast or herbal tea whenever you want. The only fault: we arranged with Alice the arrival hour but....nobody was in the B&B and we had to wait 40 minutes outside!!!

We were in Rome for the fourth time. Every time we tried other accommodation - hotels, private accommodation, hostel. We were pleasantly surprised to stay in B & B Julius Caesar. In contrast to other types of accommodation it offers something we've always missed in the past. All rooms are in the courtyard, which guarantees at least a crucial quality for us, this is the possibility of peace and quiet sleep. We were very satisfied. Recommended. Free Wireless Internet functioning. Clean rooms, toilets, hot water always available and great staff. Position B & B is also excellent, close targets reachable by foot, metro station Ottaviano distanced 30 meters. Excellent inexpensive pizza rustica 10 meters from the entrance. We have been living in rooms designated as 2 Double Room with Ensuite. 2 middle-aged couple, Paul & Co.., Czech Rep.

Great place, great price. Perfect for visiting Rome without going broke. Rooms large and clean and quiet, we didn't hear our neighbors at all except when they came in or out. Also a decent size tv (finally!) Simple breakfast of sweet buns or regular bread with nutella or jam, that's it, but practical communal kitchen has a fridge if you want to stock anything extra. No front desk area or any staff around. Except for the maid in the morning, we we're left totally on our own which is something we thoroughly enjoyed. We would return without hesitation.

The room (Margerita)was clean, quiet. The walls are so thin that you can hear every single word. Fortunately there was another couple next door only for two nights. We were able to find only one TV channel which was a pity as we missed football European Champions final. We spent wonderful days in Rome. Beautiful city full of historical sights.Would like to come back any time.

This small B & B was okay for somewhere to sleep close to the Vatican. Instructions there were good and it wasn't very far from the metro stop.

Great stay in an excellent location close to the Vatican. The room was very clean and large. The bathroom was large with a good shower. The AC worked great. I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially for the price.

This is a great B & B. Location, location, location!!! Fantastic place, a few minutes from St Peter's Square and right on top of Metro line. Staff are wonderful and so friendly. I can not fault anything about the place. Superb value for money.

Everything was great except the do it yourself breakfast supplies, which were insufficient. We had to purchase our own milk for ther third and fourth mornings. We complained to the caretaker, who explained that it is the owner's responsibility to check and replenish the food. But the owner was not on site and made no effort to restock the fridge.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at B&B Julius Caesar and can't fault it in any way. The property was exactly as described (perhaps even a little better). We loved the espresso machine in the communal kitchen. We also made good use of the communal PC and Internet connection, something that more B&B's should have. The room was cleaned to the point of spotlessness every morning. It was fitted out perfectly with great features (eg: air conditioning and cable TV) not seen in enough B&B's nowadays. The location is absolutely brilliant. The surrounding area is very pretty and central to many eateries, shops and facilities. There's a metro station just 10 metres from the front door. The Vatican is an easy 10 minute stroll down beautiful streets. Our only concern is that, with reviews like this, the property is going to get too popular and expensive. We would most definitely stay here again!

Good place to stay in Rome. Relatively cheap for Rome. However, be aware that payment is requested in cash.

Excellent value for money. My only comments would be that you have to make the Continental breakfast yourself (not stated) and that the property was very difficult to find, as it is inside a locked residential block, with no outside signage, showing the location.

Normally, I don´t give the "10" as inflationary as I did here, but this B&B was absolutely awesome. Totally clean (even my own flat ain´t that clean), in walking distance to the Vatican, only a few meters away from the subway, the owners were very friendly and competent. And all of this for a very reasonable price. In one word: GREAT!
