The B&B is located on the 2nd floor from a residential building outside the touristic area. It's not a bad area but it's quite frightening when arriving at night. We were the only guests during our stay, and the waitress only came a few minutes in the morning to prepare our breakfast. Indeed, she was late in the first day and we had to go to the coffee shop across the street. The room is quite big (contrarily to the bathroom) but with no TV (at least there was WiFi).

We thought it was closer to the main area of trastevere according to the map, but we just used the tram daily which was great (no need to buy a ticket and really fast)

I would definitely recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Rome. It was a very accessible location and in one of our favourite neighbourhoods in Rome. It is run by Margarita and Sylvia who are both extremely helpful and friendly. The room and bathroom were extremely clean and spacious. The only thing that I would caution is to make sure you confirm the location (buzzer number and floor) of the B&B before you leave home. We had no problem finding the building, but had no idea that it was located in a regular apartment building, which wasted a lot of our time and caused us great difficulty upon arrival. Besides from that, our stay there was wonderful and we would definitely go back.

What an adorable B&B! The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, and even told me where I could go find some great, vintage jewelry. Breakfast (croissant and cappuccino) can be eaten at the cafe across the street. Our room had a cute, little terrace with pretty flowers trailing up a trellis. The location is a little far from the center of Rome, but it's an easy bus/tram ride. If you decide to walk, it takes about 20-30 minutes to get to the river. However, Trastevere has plenty of great places to visit, as well. I highly recommend Il Terrazzino.

We loved our stay here. We were lucky enough to get the place all to ourselves, due to it being off season. The owners of this B&B were amazing, we had breakfast ready every morning. It was like we were rich and had our own place in Rome. Great location, near the true Roman people. Walking distance to the river. Great little outside patio, nice and private. Too cold to really enjoy it, but it was great.

Nice place to stay in the perfect area in Roma. I was a little disappointed because the room was too close to the bathrooms and to the restrooms used by all the people at the B&B and it was quite noisy.

This is a very nice bed and breakfast to stay at in Rome, and it is near many places and easy to get around. The rooms are nice and the breakfast is good; however, it was difficult to get ahold of anyone to ask questions to about where to go or what to do. Its the kind of place you want to stay at if you don't need a lot of guidance in Rome.

Very nice and very quite (even if in the heart of Trastevere). Very close to the tram stop (8) that connect also to Trastevere Station (where stops the train to Fiumicino airport). The room was very huge and the common terrace small but nice. Good breakfast. Bathrooms are out of the room (not contiguous) and shared with another room.

We have really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, the owner pleasant and helpful, good breakfast. My only disappointment was that the breakfast area, the terrace, was a smoking place. Although this was clearly indicated on the site, I was hoping that the terrace would be bigger, and that there would be somehow an area reserved for non-smokers

We could not have asked for a better B&B in Rome. Stylish, clean, friendly, in a great neighborhood and with a lovely terrace for breakfast.

From our first contact with the people at Il Terrazino (we had to call them about a complication), they were most helpful. When we came into the entrance of the courtyard to the building, we were uncertain is we continued on and were asked immediately by Raul (I believe), who prepares breakfast, if we were coming to Il Terrazino -- they were looking out for us at our time of arrival. The room was very large, with a comfortable bed and a library with books and magazine in many languages. The single tall double wide window overlooked the street but street noise was not a problem. In addition to the terrace, where one could have breakfast at the time of one's choice, there was also a dining room that could accommodate all the guests at one. There is also a piano which one would be welcome to play. The location is in a wonderful neighborhood, akin to Greenwich Village in NY of the left bank. At it is ideally located to walk to St. Peter's, the Colisseum, the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain and Quirinal. The H bus on Viale Trastevere can take you right to the Termini.

Impeccable service! From the moment we arrived, our host (Bruno - a true gent) welcomed us and made us feel very much at home, also gave some insider tips on what to do in the city. Don't be put off by the tatty looking cinema next door, as the B&B is accessed via an internal courtyard and is truly a haven in this busy city. There are good restaurants and bars in the area and the tram close by will take you the 3stops right into the historical centre if you don't fancy the walk across the river. The B&B is as described: a cosy,(3-room) elegant, boutique hotel centrally located, we particularly liked the idea of having breakfast on their terrace at a time of our choice. Having such a lovely homely place to stay certainly enhanced our visit to Rome.
