The ratio quality-price was not so bad, nevertheless I would like to remark that customer will not have daily change of towel and cleaning of room. For all other staff it was OK

Me and my friend just came back from Rome and from its wonderful b&b Home. I hade never been to a b&b before, so I was a little nervous about it, but it turned out to be way better than I could have expected. The rooms are beautiful, especially the blue and the green one, wich have integrated bathroom (the pink one also has its own, it's just next door, but you still have to leave the room). Both the rooms and the bathrooms are kept very clean, I particularly fancied scented sachets in the wardrobe, it's really a nice touch. Breakfast is fine if you're into typical italian sweet breakfast (pastries, corn flakes, butter and fruit jams, the usual). The owners (Federica and Mandica) are both very nice and helpful (especially if you speak italian), they even let us keep the room as long as we needed it (we had a very late flight), although the check-in is scheduled for 11 a.m., and it meant very much to us, since we were able to use our last day for a little more of sightseeing and shopping. The location could be better, for example we arrived on Sunday when the train that takes you to the nearest metro station leaves every 30 minutes, and it was very annoying waiting that much to go only one stop. I recommend using the bus whenever possible, it's more frequent and you get to see some of Rome as well. With the bus you can easily reach St. Peter's, Piazza Navona etc, while metro is a better solution while visiting Di Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps. All in one, I would definitely go back, both to Home B&B and to Rome! :)

Frederica is very friendly and offers a warm welcome. She also provided a lot of practical information. The hotel is ideally located, very close to a railway station (without any noise) and to Roma center. I warmly recommend this address for any stay.

Federica was extremely nice. She helped us book a shuttle to the airport. The breakfast was very good and the rooms are clean. Make sure you email her before your arrival. Federica will provide you with very good directions. The hotel is in a quiet location close to the Vatican.

We would definitely stay here on our next trip to Rome!! Frederica was soooo helpful and cheerful and made our stay in Rome just wonderful! She steered us toward certain things we wanted to do in Rome and always had suggestions about what else we might do! The terrace off of our room was a lovely way to both start and end our days! The bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed, clean and bright! It is across from the Appiano train station, and a 10-15 minute walk to the Cipro metro station.

Everything was great! The room was exactly as in the photographs. The building is just in front of the train station, so it was very easy to reach. Federica was very helpful and she explained us everything we needed to move inside the city. Great place to stay!!!! :)

Dear travelers, Even the B&B Home isn't located exactly in the center of historical Rome, it has great access to the interest locations through the Metro and Bus station (Appiano) right in front of the location. It takes 10 minutes to reach the Vatican and San Pietro using 990 until station Leone IV and around 20 minutes to arrive in the city center - Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps, etc. The Rooms were exactly like in the photos, very clean having also air conditioning. Very quite neighbourhood. The staff was very welcoming, Federica and Mandica were very nice. We recommend everyone this b&b. Have a nice stay,

Home B&B is a fantastic place to spend your night in Rome, the place is spotless clean, the staff is very pleasant, welcoming and helpfull and the brakfast is really nice. Its few steps from the appiano train station but a walk of 5 min from the metro station... There are some restaurants nearby and a bus that stops in front of the B&B. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would go again...

We had the blue room (double bed with shower). The bed was firm, but very comfortable. The shower was small, but plenty of hot water and best pressure we had in Italy. The b&b is a little out of the way, but worth it for the friendly folks and quiet sleep (hard to find in Rome). We'd definitely go back! One note on location: although Home is right across the street from the Appiano metro station (IF you take the Via Proba Petronia exit from the station), Appiano is off the mainline and has fewer trains. That's a good way to get there the first time, but for going back and forth to town the bus is more convenient.

Best B&B breakfast I had during my 3 B&B stay in Italy: sliced meats, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fruits, toast, pastries, yogurts, juice, coffee, milk, all served on a homey table in a homey living room in a homey apt. An excellent place to retreat to at the end of the day, away from the noise and activity of the city. Bus stop and metro stop are literally diagonally across the street. Steps away. Walking to the city is also possible - I managed to stroll to Cipro Station one morning. Very pleasant walking through a non-tourist infested neighborhood. Mandika was extremely helpful despite not being able to speak English; worked things out through drawings and gestures! And Federica was very sweet. Rooms were cleaned every day. Toilet paper soft! Enclosed shower was a tight fit, but I think this is the norm in Italy. Balcony window/door from bathroom was nice. Nice decor throughout. Living area complete with various travel guides and brochures. Apt on 2nd floor. There is a lift. Very quiet, peaceful. Bed comfortable, clean. Occupied the Verde room.

The room we got has no private bath, the bath was the next door to our room (private to us),bt you still have to exit to the corridor in order to go to it. Not pointed in the website or Venere. The other room for the group had private bath. Even though hotel was 50 mts from train/metro, free park available in front of it (hard to find). Good neighbourhood, free internet, and good breakfast.

For those people who wish to visit Rome without the hustle and bustle of the city center, this is the place to stay. Federica and her staff were very welcoming and helpful. This was the first time we stayed in a B&B and we were pleasantly surprised and you can be in the city center in 10-15 minutes with public transport. We will recommend Home B&B to everyone who plans a trip to Rome.

Great little B&B with some beautifully decorated rooms and an amazingly comprehensive breakfast every morning...just right for the long days you'll need to be able to handle all the sights of Rome. Home is a little way out of the centre of Rome but easy access during the day / evening by train / tube and nothing a late night taxi back won't solve. Will go back if we're in Rome again for sure.

B&B is an apartment in residential building in quiet neighborhood about 20 min on foot from the Vatican. Public transportation to and from B&B is easy, subway station and bus stop are just 50 meters away. The owner Federica is very nice and helpful. Upon arrival she gave us lots of information on directions and restaurant tips. Nice breakfast in a big table with other guests. Free parking on the streets nearby can be easily found.

We loved staying at Home B&B with Federica and Mandica. We stayed in the blue room - it was quiet and private, the private bathroom was a big plus. Not only were the rooms clean and comfortable, but both Federica and Mandica were willing to help us with whatever questions we had. It was a wonderful stay in Rome, we loved having this place to come back to at the end of each day. We would even recommend this location to a family coming to stay in Rome; it is big enough to accomodate at least 6 people, but small enough to still feel homey. Much, much better than any hotel we stayed at anywhere the rest of our trip.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfast Home and think the name is perfect, travelers are made to feel very much at home there. Federica and Mandica were so kind and welcoming and did many things to help orient us to Rome and make us comfortable. The location of Home is wonderful, away from the noise and crowdedness of Rome, but right across the street from Metro and Bus lines, so easy access to all the sights. It is walking distance to the Vatican area and minutes via metro to anywhere else in Rome we wanted to go. Our room was very clean, and most importantly, quiet and cool and serene after hot and crowded days of sight seeing. We would highly recommend this B and B to others, and in fact we did! Recommended it to all our fellow tourists. While not deluxe or fancy, it was lovely, comfortable, and welcoming. Thanks for all!!!

Of the 8 places we stayed in Italy on this trip, Home B&B tied for being the best of all. Our host Frederica and the housekeeper Mandica were gracious, friendly and extremely helpful. The location is very convenient to the Vatican area most of all and has bus & Metro stops right down the street. I would recommend this B&B to my closest friends and we plan to return there ourselves. It was an outstanding experience!

Home is a remarkable value compared to other lodgings in Rome. It is very comfortable and run by very pleasant and helpful hosts. The only downside is that it is out of the center of the city. However, it is near the Metro and a bus line; a taxi ride to the center is about 15 euro. If you do not mind the ride, I would highly recommend Home.

I really enjoyed staying at this B&B. When we had arrived, the owner wasn't there to greet us because she was on vacation, but that was okay since she had her friend greet us and let us in. The rooms were great! It was really homey and we had our own bathroom that was super clean. She made it feel really like a home and I just loved staying there. Every morning she was there to prepare breakfast and she had a pretty large spread for us. She would make toast for us and coffee and have juice for us. She also had little pastries too. It was great. I honestly don't have any complaints about this place, it was that great! Another positive is that it's just right in front of the Appiano train station so it makes getting to and from places a lot easier. I would totally recommend this place.

Home B&B was a wonderful experience. We had several things go "wrong" on this trip and Federica the owner was so helpful to us. The location was just perfect. It was in a settled neighborhood away from the bustle of the city, but right across the street from the subway. The rooms were clean and breakfast was more than the continental breakfast we were expecting, but definitely not the huge American breakfast. Federica graciously answered all of our questions, helped with some phone calling, helped with rescheduling places to stay when we had plane ticket issues, and worked with us when our credit card was not working and we were unable to access an ATM. She also recommended the best restaurant we ate at in 12 days in Italy. We would return to Home B & B in an instant. Thank you Federica.

B&B home is great!!! The location is very convenient and the neighborhood is save and quiet. I love the owner, she went out of her way to take care of us. The rooms are large for Europe, and good sized for America. They each have a bathroom. The breakfast is a big european breakfast. The only thing that I would complain about is, if it is busy you can hear through the walls easily. But, the quiet neighborhood and every other quality makes up for that. The bed was comfortable, a little on the hard side. But, next to other beds in Italy, it was great. Once you get use to the neighborhood, there are great little restrants in walking distance. Be ready to walk alot and up and down hills. But there is a bus and a tram station just across the street.

Es war ein wunderbarer Kurzurlaub in Rom, vor allem aufgrund der tollen Betreuung des Teams von B&B Home. Grazie a Federica, Mandica e Daniela!! Grazie, ci vediamo sicuramente quando siamo ancora a Roma. Un grande bacio a tutti!! Tami e Biggi di Monaco, Germania

I often go to Rome either for buisness or leisure;Home b&b is the best b&b I have stayed so far.Rooms are nice and clean with comfortable beds, breakfast is rich and wonderful. The staff is very kind and the owner,Federica, gives you a lot of useful advices and tips. The location is great too: even if it's not in the city center (where prices of b&b's are too high)the b&b is very well served by buses and subway so that in few minutes you get to the most beautifull sights of Rome and,at night, you enjoy the quite and the safe neighborood, away from the noise. We enjoyed the quiet almost suburban surroundings of Home. It was a ten minute walk downhill to the Vatican and a quick train or bus ride back to the bed and breakfast. We were definitely impressed by how welcoming everyone at the B+B was. They were ready to share recommendations about what to see and where to eat almost anywhere in the city. Our room was beautiful and had it's own bathroom and an attached balcony. For the price, I think Home is probably one of the best deals in Rome!

The B&B really did feel like a home. It was extremely clean and welcoming. The staff was kind and competent. We even had our own bathroom. Decor was wonderful. The only con about the place was that is far from all the major attractions in Rome and that the closest Metro station was a 15-minute walk away. The owner only takes cash for payment.

We strongly recommend this beautiful b&b for many reasons: for the warm welcome we received from the owner, the reach breakfast, the interesting conversations with Federica and the other visitors, the nice and quiet room. We found a lot of useful information about restaurants, places to visit and how to deplace in Rome. The hotel is not exactely in the center, but it is just 15 min walk from Vaticano and it is very well served by buses. Well... We are already waiting for our next visit!

We stayed in this B&B for a week. It was excellent!Because it was during the week, myself and my sister were the only ones who stayed there, so it was very quiet and we had all the facilities at out disposal. The B&B is not in city centre, but the area is very safe, quiet and residential. We, two girls, felt quite safe walking late at night. There are good transport links (urban train and bus, although some time we had to wait for the bus for about 15 min.) The rooms correspond completely to the photos posted on the web, so no unpleasant surprises here. The hostess, Federica, is great and very helpful with advices on how to get around the city, where to eat, what to see and so on. Breakfast was superb too. Overall, we had quite a pleasant stay in Rome and we will definitely come back to the same place.

It was our first time in Rome and we have roughly no negative comments. From the warm reception to the excellent breakfast and the comfortble rooms, everything was perfect in our 4-night stay at Home B&B. And I didn't talk about the wonderfull shower and the expresso and tea machine available at the kitchen. We are a young couple with an 1 year-old baby and we had a really pleasant time in Rome thanks to Home B&B, which gave us the opportunity to sleep magnificently during the nights. Well, most of the time we were alone at the property (or with very little other people), so we can't really talk about the quietness of the rooms during full periods. In this place, in addition to feeling "AT HOME", we really felt in the "Italy of the italians" . The hotel surroundings are very charming and different from the crowded center of Rome. Every morning during breakfast we talked to the manager who always gave us good information about transportation and other details such as restaurants, small beautifull places unknown from the majority of tourists as well as some places to avoid during certain time periods. The price could be a little better, but it is worth. Comparing with other places in Rome it is a completely fair rate. Anyway, for our next time in Rome we won't need to look for accommodation or make comparisons. We'll just stay at Home ;-)
