877-662-6988In a quiet residential area in the district of "Montesacro alto", on the 5th floor of a modern Apartment-house, inside a garden, you can find the B&B Happy Goose. It's easy to reach by public transport from Airport, Railway Station and historical center of Rome. Also by car the B&B is easy to reach. Sightseeing guides and city maps are available for our guests together with some recommendations of several restaurants. In the summertime we serve the breakfast on our big balcony. The owner of the B&B, Ilaria, has lived for several years at London and she speaks english and french. Two beautiful cats, called Indy and Kaly, live in the Bed & Breakfast.
At request we can offer you the following services: Baby sitter, Transfer to/from the Aiport, prenotations for museums and shows.

I did not realise, from information, just how far it was from historic Rome and usual sights. Two buses, or nearly an hour on one! There was a very nice restaurant nearby, but too expensive for frequent use. The owner smoked there in the evening. O.K. for cat lovers.

The B&B Happy Goose was indeed a happy choice. Though about 40 minutes by very frequent busses from the Rome center, we enjoyed our stay in this quiet, very Italian suburb with shops, supermarkets (Carrefour) a real Roman pizzeria and a restaurant close by. Ilaria,our hostess,is a well traveled young woman, who made us feel extremely comfortable and gave us the useful tips where to find comfortable restaurants etc. Thanks a lot Ilaria, we will be back.

We were lucky to start our vacation in Italy at this B&B. Ilaria, the hostess was very welcoming and attentive, describing the environs and offering all the information we needed to begin our exploration of Rome. If you prefer immersing youself in the everyday lifestyle of Romans as opposed to staying at an inner-city hotel, you should consider the Happy Goose. Nearby are local restaurants, supermarket and mall, so you can test out your Italian in a natural setting, which we found exciting, though a little tricky at first. Ilaria's patio is a nice place to enjoy breakfast. The early morning sounds of birds and people is very quieting. Best part of this B&B is the hostess herself, who is very engaging and genuine. We left not as guests, but friends.

Ilaria es una magnífica anfitriona. Las habitaciones son limpias y agradables, al igual que los baños. Los gatos de Ilaria son unos puntos muy simpáticos aunque un poco "disgraziati", porque les encanta cotillear todo lo que ocurre en cada sitio.La forma de llegar al centro desde Happy Goose es sencilla, cogiendo la línea de bus 86 que pasa cada media hora. El centro está a 20 minutos.Recomiendo este lugar para cualquier visitante.

What bed and breakfast....we got 1 room in a tiny 3 bed room apartment. it took 1 hr with the bus, website said 30 minutes.... in your dreams! there is only 1 bus that goes there.. and that too you have to wait for 20-30 mins. it is a very bad location.. all the way out of the city... owner had 3 cats, and she smoked inside the apartment.. so if you can live with all that.. go for it.. I will never return there.

The B&B Happy Goose offers you two brightly, comfortable and friendly rooms, with air conditioning. A free parking place is waiting for you in front of the house and a big elevator start from the parking floor. After a long and exausting day of visiting the beautiful monuments of Rome it is possible to relax on the big balcony in comfortable seats. We serve a rich continental breakfast in the dining room or on the balcony when the weather is fine.Guestrooms in this 2006 bed and breakfast were renovated in May 2010.

How to reach Happy Goose Bed and Breakfast
How to get therePublic utility:
from Termini Station: Bus 86 at platform N in Piazza dei Cinquecento (the place in front of station). Get off in Via Antamoro. (when the bus is in Via della Bufalotta, you will see a big wather tank, like a mushroom. Here the bus will turn left, then turn right in Via Antamoro and stop opposit the Bank. You get off there) Cross the road and enter in Via Forzano. After 30 meters on right is a little private road. At the end is nr.20. Ring the bell nr.15.
Will take you approx. 30 minutes. from Fiumicino Airport (Leonardo da Vinci): Train Leonardo Express to Termini Station. Then bus 86 from Ciampino Airport: Bus “navetta” to Metro Station Anagnina. Metro to Termini Station, then Bus 86.
From Tiburtina Station: Metro to Termini Station, then bus 86 or Bus 211 till Piazza Sempione, then bus 86.
By car: there are two ways to arrive:
Leave the GRA (Grande Raccordo Anulare) at exit nr. 9 and follow the road sign “Via di Settebagni”. Drive for 3,5 Km till the traffic lights and turn right at Via della Bufalotta. Drive for 500 meters and turn right at Via Cesare Zavattini; at the round about turn left and then first on your right is Via Forzano. After 30 mt turn right into a private road up to number 20. Ring the bell “Voso Ilaria B&B Happy Goose” int.15.

Drive for 2 km till the traffic lights and turn right on Via di Casal Boccone; drive for 2,5 Km up to the crossing with Via della Bufalotta (at the traffic light) and turn left; Drive for 500 meters and turn right at Via Cesare Zavattini, at the round about turn left and then first on your right is Via G.Forzano; after 30 meters turn right into a private road up to number 20. Ring the bell “Voso Ilaria Interno 15”.
