It is really very nice B&B! Mirta, the owner, met us at the bus stop on the arrival day so we didn't have to walk all the way to the villa with our suitcases. Our room had separate entrance, and we even had the part of the garden for our own! The room is nice and cosy, we felt there like we came back home :)) Mirta was very helpful and welcoming! I'd defenitely reccomend this B&B and hope to stay there again.

Begin oktober 2008 verbleven wij 3 nachten in B&B Greta e Prisca.

Very comfortable accomodation, someway out of City Centre, but that's why I chose it. Easy travel to City via Metro Line and then 15 mins walk or take local bus for 5 mins walk to apartment. Travel in Rome is very inexpensive if you buy the cheap travel tickets on offer. Very private and maid service. Mirta is wonderful, anwers all your questions and lots of helpful information. If you don't want a City Centre accomodation and a peaceful evening or day off I would highly recommend it. Has good cooking facilities if you want a night in or on a tight budget.

Mirta, owner and hostess, was charming and most helpful. The location is very pleasant and a great place to return to after a long day in Rome. While out of town, we did not find that much of an inconvenience as the public transport was efficient and only a short walk from the residence. We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment.

Mirta was a wonderful host and worried about us like a mother when she thought we were caught in a sudden down pour occuring after we returned from a full day of sight-seeing. She felt bad because it rained 3 of the 4 days we were there, giving us a bottle of wine to apologize for the weather. The room was very clean with an old world charm. I felt comfortable staying there and would not hesitate to return. It is a little distant from the subway station about a 15 minute walk. Buses are about a 3-5 minute walk from the B&B.

We went to Greta e Prisca only for one night and for the occasion of a concert at the nearby Palalottomatica. If you're planning on attending a concert there, the location is perfect. Otherwise, if you're a tourist and you don't mind walking to the metro station, then it's a good opportunity to stay in a peaceful and safe area. The b&b was a pleasant surprise. Everything was made available for us on our arrival, in fact the breakfast food for the next day was already placed in the kitchen and everything was quite clean. Mirta was very kind and always available to help. She called to make sure we knew how to get to the b&b and also offered to pick us up at the metro station after our day of walking around Rome! It's a shame we couldn't stay for the rest of the weekend! We'll definitely look up this b&b next time we're in Rome.

Mirta is the owner of the room and she is sooo helpfull, friendly,....She really care about you. The room itself is in a area of good situated houses. There is a bus to the metro and the metro goes till midnight to the city and back, or there is also a express bus from the metro station laurentia to the city center (near campo del fiori). So, if you want to escape of the city for sleeping at night I can really recomment Mirtas place.

An excellent place to stay in Rome. Out of the busy centre but within very easy reach. An affluent, quiet, leafy and secure area with good restaurants nearby. The room is clean, comfortable and spacious with kitchenette and bathroom as well as patio and garden outside. The hostess, Mirta, is a very lovely and generous person. She will offer plenty of help and advice freely. It is extremely quiet at night so a peaceful night's sleep is possible. The kitchen is generously supplied with all you might need. Overall it is extremely good value, I recommend it highly. We will certainly not look anywhere else when we return to this wonderful city.

It's a portion of a house where the owners live that is rented out as a room. so it's kept spic and span. It's a bit away from the city centre but very very easily reached. A one stop bus ride from a close by bus stop takes you to a metro station and then it's a few minutes to the center. I liked it very much because after a hectic day of roaming around Rome you can retire for the day in a very calm place. Mirta, the host, is a helpful lady with a big smile. She is very generous with your breakfast supplies. Rome is pretty expensive. Keeping that in mind and the quality of this place, I would say it's a good value.

This B&B is located in Eur, a suburb of Rome, which gives a lot to the quiteness and peacefullness of the location. Still, getting to the city is fast and easy (and actually available at any time, even late in the night). The room itself is excellent, easily the best I ever seen. It shows that they originally built it for themselves and only later decided to rent it. The room includes a small kitchen, stuffed with all the necessary utensils and a good selection of food items. Finally, the welcoming was simply outstanding. On the day of our arrival, Mirta took at least two hours to talk to us, help us plan our stay in Rome, give us tips (some of them turned out extremely useful), and for a general chat. She and her husband always had time to give us advice and help with things during our stay. To summarize, this is definitely the place to stay when visiting Rome!

Outstanding. A wonderful experience to stay there. A gorgeous room with its own entry, stocked kitchen, and bathroom and the owner Mirta is extremely helpful. It is far from center of Rome (which is why it is quiet) but convenient by bus with direct runs to either Termini or Piazza Venezia (~30 minutes). It is also fairly close to both Ciampino and Fiumicino airports by taxi. A+.

We stayed in the B&B for a week and we were very delighted with our accommodation. The accomodation comprises of a big bedroom, a kitchen area and a bathroom. Mirta, the owner, supplies the breakfast items which you prepare yourself. Breakfast can be eaten in the pretty front garden. The B&B is located in the EUR, 15 minutes by metro to the Termini station (centre of Rome). The metro station is 10-15 minutes walkfrom the B&B. This was not a problem for us and should not deter anyone from considering this B&B. The trains are very regular, every few minutes. At night a bus from the centre of Rome brings you even nearer to the B&B, if you wish. We really appreciated the fact that Mirta collected us from the metro station on our arrival. Another advantage of this B&B is that it is located in a quiet area. It may be difficult to get an equally quiet B&B in noisy Rome in this price range. Finally, Mirta was very helpful and welcoming. This B&B is classy all the way (owners, location, and interiors). Its a separate annex attached to a large house located in a posh neighborhood on a quiet street. It is located some distance from the main sites (40 minutes by bus or 30 by train including the walk to the station) but a great place for the weary traveller to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Also we woke up to the sounds of birds chirping as opposed to horns blaring! Mirta is a great conversationalist and willing to share information on all topics. The rooms (large bedroom, small kitchen, and decent sized bathroom) are clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen contains breakfast items and appliances (bread, plum cakes, cereal, milk, OJ, coffee/ coffee maker, toaster, fridge, etc.) - so you can make your own breakfast at your own convenience. We would definitely return to this B&B. Thanks Mirta and family. P.S. Expect to pay in cash at the beginning of the stay - we did not receive this info from Venere.

We had a stay for 6 days in end October. Every moning started with breakfast in the garden - a nice quiet way to wake up. Then a 10 min walk (or 2 min busride) to the metro and a busy day/night in the heart of Rome. Only to come home to a clean bed and quietness... Next morning repeating the previous day. Mirca came down on regular basis to check if everything was ok, and if we had any questions/needs. All in all a very nice week in Rome.
