877-662-6988The underground is just 5 minutes away by walking, line "A", stop "Cipro - Musei Vaticani" and connects you with the rest of the city in just few stops.
We have 3 rooms, with a beautiful view of Saint Peter's dome. The 3 rooms share 2 bathrooms, which have also been renovated. The bathrooms are separate for men and women. The women's bathroom has a bathtub and shower, while the men's bathroom has a shower.
The room was spacious and very clean. The hostel is 5min walking distance from Vatican. The breakfast is very poor: tea, coffee and one croissant. That's all!

In the beginning we were attempted to be moved to the other B&B, after we refused, we were given the apartment we rented. The rooms were not cleaned every day. The sink in the male bathroom was not working for 5 days, the shower was partially clogged. Location is as described, about 30 minutes on foot to Vatican museum.

The room was spacious and very clean. The hostel is 5min walking distance from Vatican. The breakfast is very poor: tea, coffee and one croissant. That's all!

If it wasn't for the lady who ran the place we would rate this much lower. She was very kind, and helpful. The location is ok. It is walking distance to the Vatican so that is a good thing. There are shared bathrooms (for women and men) and unfortunately they are a bit run down. We stayed at the first room as you enter the B&B it was nice but you can hear everything outside the room. We were kept up all night because a man was on the phone in the room next to us, and in the morning for breakfast you hear everything. The main door to the B&B is a bit tricky to close so a lot of people slam it. We previously stayed at the Orange Garden B&B for the same price and it was a lot nicer with a private bath and even closer to the Vatican than this. I would highly recommend that over this place.

L'appartamento è grande, e pulitissimo. La stanza perfettamente in ordine, con aria condizionata e TV-SAT. Sul tavolino per la colazione a disposizione ci sono bollitore per l'acqua, thè e caffè, qualcosa da mangiare (merendine, fette biscottate), a cui si aggiungono torta e biscotti in cucina. Non c'è il bagno in camera, ma l'ordine e la pulizia sempre garantiti non fanno rimpiangere altre soluzioni. La zona piuttosto tranquilla, forse un pochino rumorosa di notte, e la metro è a 5 minuti a piedi. In 15 minuti di passeggiata si raggiunge a piedi piazza San Pietro. L'accoglienza splendida, apprezzabilissima la disponibilità del simpatico gestore. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente. Grazie Claudio!

Room Details
Our Bed&Breakfast is composed of spacious and bright rooms. They can easily fit from the single person up to the entire family.We have a twin room and 3 double rooms, 2 of them having poster beds and all of them furnished in romantic style with wrought iron beds, some of them are 4-posters beds. It's possible to have a third bed upon request and also a cradle.
Every room has a safebox, satellite TV, air conditioning, water boiler.
These rooms are not equipped with private bathrooms, our guests will share 2 bathrooms.
Included/Not Included in the price
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE cleaning is every day, change of sheets and towels every 3 days, during your stay you will be given the keys of house, crib available upon request for extra charge (Eur 15 per night). Our bed and breakfast has 2 bathrooms, one for men and one for women, that serve our rooms. The payment will be cash when you arrive or by credit card with an extra 3% for the transaction. For arrivals after 9pm we apply a late arrival fee of 10 Euros per room. Rome city tax (which applies to stays on or after 1 January 2011) is not included in the price: €2,00 per person, per night (up to 10 nights) will be charged and collected directly at the front desk. The tax does not apply to children under 10 years of age. Upon request you can book a transfer service with the following prices: From Termini Train Station and vice-versa: 30€ From Fiumicino Airport and vice-versa: 50€ From Ciampino Airport and vice-versa: 50€ All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing beds; cots or extra beds cost € 15,00 per day. Small pets are allowed and stay free of charge.Some properties have extra fees for amenities or services that may apply even if you do not use them. How to reach Bed and Breakfast Gioia Romana
By carFrom " Raccordo Anulare di Roma (A90)" (the ring road) take exit number 1 towards ROMA (VIA AURELIA - CITTA' DEL VATICANO). Drive on Via Aurelia until you get Piazza Irnerio, continue on Via Baldo degli Ubaldi then take Via Angelo Emo. After about 500m turn left on Via degli Ammiragli.
By train
Take the underground, LINEA A (=line A), towards BATTISTINI and get off after 7 stops at CIPRO station. Walk up Via Cipro and turn right on the forth road, Via degli Ammiragli, you will find us at number 67 (5 minutes walking distance).
By airplane
Fiumicino:
Go to the train station inside the airport and take the "Leonardo Express", the train connecting the airport with "Roma Termini", the central station. Departing every half an hour, the train takes about 30 minutes and the ticket's cost is 11€.
Once you get at Termini take the underground, LINEA A (= line A), towards BATTISTINI and get off after 7 stops at CIPRO-MUSEI VATICANI station. Walk up Via Cipro and turn right on the forth road, Via degli Ammiragli, you will find us at number 67 (5 minutes walking distance).
Ciampino:
The best way to reach us from this airport is to take the bus connecting it with central train station TERMINI. Once there take the underground, LINEA A (= line A), towards BATTISTINI and get off after 7 stops at CIPRO station. Walk up Via Cipro and turn right on the forth road, Via degli Ammiragli, you will find us at number 67 (2 minutes walking distance).
