I’ve been a tech pro /geek for a long time untill I changed my life beeing part of the Sapienza University administrative staff.
I decided to realize an old idea: to be an innkeeper. I love people. I love Rome, history, heritage and arts, i need to cope with costs, what’s better than a B&B?.
I love also writing, so i decided to start this blog, telling my story and my life. I would like it could be useful for tourists and people who want have a Rome insight looking from my window.
1 minute from subway stop “Manzoni” you can be in the downtown or Rome Main Railway Station (Termini) in a while.
The rooom was very spacious and clean with a great quality in breakfast and wealcoming.

The directions to the property were completely unclear, the map was awful and we wandered in the wrong direction! Once we got there, there was no one there to let us in the building, and we waited for almost an hour in the rain. It was totally sketchy because it is just the floor of a random building with no sign on it! The only way we knew it was the right was place was because we had the address and there was a tiny little label on the ringer. It was an awful experience and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

It's the second time that i been there and definitely would return. Near to metro, touristic aeras and the owner Fabio is really nice person and his family too!

Gentes B&B, is composed 3 guest rooms, where colors create a cozy atmosphere and comfortable and offers a unique kind of accommodation in the centre of Rome.All the rooms have private bathroom with shower, and fully equipped with
all of today's confort, LCD TV, Wi-Fi and Safe box.
In a 10 minutes walk you can reach Colosseo and Fori Imperiali.
All public transport is easily accessible; We are fifty meters from Metro’s line A (stops – Manzoni and San Giovanni), five hundred meters from Metro’s line B (stop – Colosseo), about one hundred meters from the main bus terminal. By a few stops of metro you can reach the wonderful Saint Peter Square and with only one bus you can also reach Trastevere .
Even though our Bed and Breakfast is located right in Rome’s historical centre, it is situated outside the ‘limited traffic area’ (ZTL) so that you can use your own means of transportation to get there. Under the building there is a metered parking and a private garage is just 100 meters away.

How to reach Gentes Bed and Breakfast
By trainfrom Termini railway station get on the underground and get off 2 stops ahead (Manzoni Stop). Take a less than 100 mt walk and ring me up.
By airplane
There are several options to go from Leonardo da Vinci airport to downtown Rome:
Leonardo Express trains leave every 30 minutes to the central train station Roma Termini (35 minute trip).
Trains from Termini depart from the track 24 on the right. The Metropolitan train leaves from the track on the left but does not stop at Termini. Get off at Tiburtina Station or at Ostiense Station to connect to Line B of the Rome Metro.
By public transportation
Terravision offers a shuttle service from/to Fiumicino
airport to/from Termini Station (Via Marsala).
Bus (co.tra.l, S.p.a, blue regular-size buses). The bus stop is located outdoors at ground level, at the bottom of the a Terminal (Domestic arrivals).
