The B&B is centrally located in the elegant, quiet Salario quarter, at the back of the Roman Aurelian Walls and of the historic Porta Pia. The area even if is in the centre of Rome isn't chaotic, has stylish buildings date from 1900 and splendid art noveau architecture.

It's also a "green" area with the beautiful Villa Borghese, Villa Torlonia, Villa Paganini and Villa Albani parks with their prestigious Museums inside.

Nearby the B&B there are a wide variety of restaurants, pizzerias, cafes, shops, banks, a local fresh-food market. The Borghese Gallery,
the Scuderie of Quirinale, Macro (Museum of Contemporary Art) and other Museums are within walking distance. Just next the B&B there is a multi-storey car park.

The area is extremely well connected to all the sites of interest by bus services and Metro which stop nearby the B&B. As the good position of "I Gatti di Roma" you easily can go on foot to most of the sights such as Quirinale, via Veneto, Villa Borghese, Fontana di Trevi,piazza di Spagna, piazza Venezia and more.

The B&B consists of two spacious and comfortable double bedrooms with parquet floor, fitted out in a sober elegant style. Both non smoking rooms.

Guests have their own privacy as the B&B area is separated from the rest of the apartment.

In spite of the name there aren't any cats!
